Leanna Love

August 1999

Leanna Love Seeks Revenge!
(Newman Enterprises) -- Claiming she wants to get even with Victor Newman for having her television talk show cancelled recently, man hater Leanna Love sought the assistance of Newman Enterprises CEO Jack Abbott. Love had hoped Abbott would use Newman Enterprises money to purchase her current production company thereby assuring her "investigation" into Victor Newman could continue without Newman's interference. What purpose Love thinks she could accomplish remains to be seen as it seems clear if long-time nemesis Jack Abbott cannot permanently ruin Victor Newman, a lowly TV syndicated talk show host with no known station billing certainly can't. As it turned out, Abbott informed Love he is not in a position to help her but offered to jump Love's bones if she were so inclined.

November 1999

It's About Damn Time!
(Abbott Residence, Genoa City) -- Leanna Love, alleged long-time man hater, told Jack Abbott what many readers, and some of us at the GCNews, have been fussing about for years. Why is Jack still living at home? At the Abbott household, Leanna was discussing the first chapter of her revised book 'Ruthless' with Jack because she knows he hates the book subject (Victor Newman) as much as she does and thinks she and Jack "make a great team." After scanning the draft, Jack said Leanna missed a few things and gave her the names of some people to research. Done with business, Leanna wanted to have some "fun" and began sucking on Jack when John Abbott interrupted them on his way up the stairs. "When are you going to grow up Jack and get your own place" an irritable Leanna spat before quickly leaving. Unfortunately, Jack didn't explain why he, his sister Ashley, her husband Cole Howard, not to mention former maid Mamie Johnson, don't get homes of their own. Normal people can't wait to buy their own homes so they can, for example, go around naked if they want without everyone gawking at them. But not some residents of Genoa City.

Collaboration?
At long last, Leanna Randolph Love, a former mental patient of the late Dr. Steven Lassiter and author of the best-selling book 'Ruthless', is expected to arrive in Genoa City late next week.

Besides working on the sequel to her book about former husband Victor Newman, Love has said she plans to get even with Newman for having her TV talk show cancelled.

Love was recently employed as an impromptu roving reporter in New Mexico where she covered the disappearance of Victor Newman and his subsequent romance with Ramona Caceres. Love wanted to seek revenge way back then but ran low on resources.

Love's return to Genoa City will be brief but should be long enough for her to team up with Diane Jenkins. Another former Mrs. Newman, Jenkins is said to have a plan to use Love to her advantage.

Love Arrives!
Former mental patient and all around fruit cake, Leanna Love, blew back into town Thursday and immediately tracked down expectant mother, Diane Jenkins.

"I had to ask the woman if she's pregnant with Victor Newman's child but she wouldn't comment. I took that as a confirmation," Love told the Genoa City News.

"There's a rumor going around she is pregnant and my viewers love a good story. I wonder what they'll have to say about this one," Love added in reference to her little watched cable television talk show.

Although Love helped Jenkins with her divorce from the great Victor Newman, Jenkins would only say that going public at this time would ruin her plan to make Newman a loving daddy to her child.

"This is far from over. I'll be seeing Diane again," Love said.

Reporter Hits Dead End
Cable talk show host, Leanna Love, hit a dead end here Thursday in her quest to pry personal information out of business empire giant, Victor Newman.

"I wouldn't be much of a reporter if I didn't check out a hot news story," Love said after attempting unsuccessfully to rake Newman over the coals.

"I just want to know how that Jenkins woman got his sperm. Did the old guy give it up willingly or is there something, ah, juicy going on," Love added.

Love offered Newman the chance to spill the beans from his viewpoint but already the victim of Love's best-selling book "Ruthless", Newman declined comment.

Ruthless Deal Made!
Certain she's pregnant with Victor Newman's baby, Diane Jenkins has reportedly made a deal with cable talk show queen, Leanna Love.

During a meeting at Newman's penthouse suite Monday, Jenkins blasted Love for making a "surprise attack" on the man she loves adding she fears the story of her pregnancy will become public too soon.

"Are you questioning my investigative skills? I was married to the man," Love retorted.

Jenkins quickly agreed to give Love exclusive rights to her story provided Love waits until Jenkins gives the word to go public.

Before agreeing to the deal Love asked if Jenkins has plans to marry Newman and whether her baby is really a Newman.

Jenkins refused to comment on marriage but did say she knows "without a shadow of a doubt" the baby will be another heir to the Newman empire.

Love Is In The Air!
Leanna Randolph, better known as Leanna Love, is scheduled to arrive in Genoa City on Wednesday and one of the first things she may be asked is whatever happened to the book she was supposed to be writing?

In July, 1999, Love announced she would write the sequel to Ruthless the story of Victor Newman but well over a year later the book hasn't surfaced.

Love was once married to the great Victor Newman but the marriage was declared null and void when it was discovered Newman had not waited the required by law six months after his divorce from Nikki Newman.

On their wedding night, Love didn't want to have sex with Newman or any man since she claimed to hate all men. As time went by Love got herself a TV talk show on which she would routinely trash various men but her celebrity came to an end when Newman purchased the TV station and fired Love.

When Newman turned up missing in New Mexico, Love showed up as a roving reporter for one of those sleazy tabloid shows but didn't get the dirt she was looking for.

Most recently Love made a deal with former Newman wife Diane Jenkins to provide ammunition which would help Jenkins get a death grip on Newman. Love is expected to spill what she knows about another former Newman wife, Hope Adams Newman Wilson. However, what Love knows isn't expected to be much since Love had little knowledge of Newman's marriage to the Kansas farmer.

'Ruthless' Author In Town!
Roving reporter Leanna Randolph, AKA Leanna Love, arrived in Genoa City Thursday looking for juicy gossip about Genoa City's most powerful man, Victor Newman, and socialite Diane Jenkins.

"I’m looking for a story. Diane and Victor are celebrities my viewers are very interested in. I’m going to get this story whether they like it or not," Love told the Genoa City News but could not answer questions regarding her current employment status.

Love had no comment when asked for the name of the TV station she claims to have a show on and wouldn't say when or if the sequel to her book Ruthless will ever be published.

It was unclear if Love picked up on the hot tip handed to her on a silver platter when Jenkins asked about the whereabouts of another former Newman wife, Hope Adams Newman Wilson. Love told Jenkins that Mrs. Wilson is a blind woman living on a farm in Kansas and promised to deliver Wilson's full address to Jenkins at a later date for "a price."

Love Wants First Photos
An attempt to obtain the first photographs of the newest heir to the Newman Empire was thwarted Tuesday when roving gossip reporter Leanna Love was told to get out of Diane Jenkins' hospital room.

Under terms of a deal worked out with Jenkins prior to the birth of her baby, Love hopes to cash in with an exclusive report for an obscure cable TV station.

Before Love could obtain permission for the admittance of a photographer Jenkins learned that the man she claims is her baby's father was on his way to visit and ordered Love to take a hike.

Born January 5 at 3:30pm, the Jenkins baby weighed in at 9 pounds, 7 ounces, with a 19" length, 15" chest and head.

We Interrupt This Program!
Local residents were stunned on Wednesday when their favorite television show was interrupted with a special report by roving reporter, Leanna Love.

Love was seen ranting about having been tossed out of Genoa City's Center 4 Disease after she tried to obtain the first ever photographs of socialite Diane Jenkins' baby, the newest Newman heir.

"Who in the hell cares? I was watching All My Children when that bitch appeared. How did she get on ABC?", angry viewer Norma Snapple told reporters.

"It's bad enough they interrupted and even canceled some of my favorite shows with election coverage last month. Now I've got to listen to some bimbo whining how she was thrown out of a hospital. I don't want to hear or see it," shouted Wallace Wanker who was watching Regis at the time.

"We don't know how that character got on the networks. I think it was some switching snafu," a spokesperson for CBS said when asked how a unknown cable TV gossip reporter was able to break into regular programming with what amounted to nothing more than gossip.

Demands
Roving gossip reporter Leanna Love has again demanded Diane Jenkins allow photographs be taken of the latest Newman heir under and agreement the two worked out prior to the baby's birth. When Jenkin's bawled, Love threatened to tell Victor Newman everything she knows. Apparently unaware that Newman already knows what she's up to, Jenkins told Love that a paternity test being held Thursday at noon would be the perfect photo opportunity provided Love and her photographer are present at 11:45a.

Breaking Gossip!
Regular TV programming was interrupted Tuesday for a 'breaking' news story when roving gossip reporter Leanna Love appeared 'live' outside the Newman ranch refusing to leave until obtaining a statement from the Newman family.

Why Love felt any comment should be forthcoming from the family about Victor Newman's breakup and subsequent eviction of his former wife and her baby from Mr. Newman's penthouse suite was unclear.

In a telephone interview with Love, Mrs. Nikki Newman stated, "Everyone in this family is trying to make the best of a bad situation. Those most hurt are the innocent children. Specifically Ms. Jenkins' baby. I hope the media will take this into consideration when they do their stories".

In a related development, socialite Diane Jenkins announced her departure from Genoa City here Tuesday. "I’m all packed. I’m leaving", Ms. Jenkins said after conferring with personal friend and local attorney Michael Baldwin.
