Matt Miller - Victor Newman's brother. When Matt found out Ashley was pregnant with Victor's child, he offered to be a father to his brother's baby, but Ashley decided to have an abortion. Matt cared for both Nikki and Ashley, but both women were in love with Victor. At one point Victor suggested that Casey, Nikki's sister, pursue Matt. Matt eventually left Genoa City.

Nikki Reed Newman - First married Greg Foster but they divorced. After Nikki found out she was pregnant, she married Kevin Bancroft. Nikki was unhappy living the lie that Kevin was her child's father and sought to end the marriage. Later Nikki married Tony DiSalvo in an attempt to claim the porno tape he had made of her. He was killed by gunshot. Nikki then married Victor. When Victor's affections turned towards Ashley, Nikki asked for a divorce. Nikki later married Jack, but he asked for a divorce because she was protecting Victor. Nikki then married Dr. Joshua Landers in Las Vegas after feeling rejected by Victor. Joshua was killed by his psychotic ex-wife, leaving Nikki a widow. Victor married Nikki in a bedside ceremony believing she was on the verge of death, but the marriage was later declared invalid.

Nikki contracted gonorrhea while working as a prostitute. When Nikki decided to make good of her life she enrolled in college. Later she slipped up and slept with one of her professors in the hopes she would gain a passing grade. Nikki killed her father when he tried to sexually attack her. Believing that she was signing a legitimate modeling contract, Nikki signed with Rose's Modeling Agency, which turned out to be a front for a drug and prostitution ring. While working at a strip joint, Nikki was secretly taped and later the pornographic tape was released titled, "Hot Hips." The tape not only showed Nikki's striptease, but was altered to make Nikki look like she was also performing sexual acts.

Ashley Suzanne Abbott - Married Dr. Steven Lassiter in a quiet ceremony at the Abbott home. Steven was killed by the son of one of his patients. Committed to a mental hospital after she was found wandering the streets of New York, traumatized after having an abortion. She later wed Victor after Brad had already proposed to her. They divorced after Victor decided he was meant to be with Nikki. Ashley later married Cole Howard, but divorced him due to the strain that the loss of Cole and Victoria's child put on the marriage. Marriage to Cole Howard failed in late 1999.

Leanna Randolph (AKA Leanna Love) - Married Victor in Las Vegas but the marriage was not legal.  Leanna followed Ashley and Steven Lassiter to Hawaii to try to gain back Steven's affections. Determined to do whatever it took to get him back, she sent Ashley poisoned leis with the intent of killing her. Leanna is forever looking for new dirt on Victor Newman for her sequel to Ruthless.

Hope Adams Newman Wilson - Married Victor Newman, but they later divorced after the birth of their son, Victor JR. When Victor and Hope first met he didn't know that she was blind. She moved back to Kansas with Kurt Costner to raise her child and married Cliff Wilson, her longtime friend and neighbor who was killed after being run over by a tractor.

Diane Jenkins - Diane married Andy Richards, but they divorced. Years later, Diane resurfaced and once again rekindled her romance with Jack Abbot. However, she ended up marrying Victor Newman in Nevada. They, too, divorced due to his feelings for Nikki.  On the day before Jack's wedding to Patty Williams, he had too much to drink and ended up sleeping with Diane, who was then a Jabot model. Diane decided to use this one-night stand to her benefit. She blackmailed Jack into making her Jabot's number one model.

Nicholas Christian Newman - Married to Sharon Collins. Was in jail for a murder that he didn't commit. He was found at a murder scene when he went to confront Sharon's rapist. He was caught trying to wipe off prints from the gun, thinking they were Sharon's, when the police arrived. Nick wants to make a name for himself outside of Newman Enterprises so he purchased a coffee shop/club called Crimson Lights. His father, Victor wants him to sell it and give his full attention to Newman Enterprises. See also Nick and Sharon's wedding and the birth of Noah.

Sharon Collins Newman - Married to Nicholas Newman. Sharon became pregnant in high school and gave up her child. She has since been reunited with Cassie. She and Nick share a son, Noah. A Synopsis of Lobotomized’s Worthless Life

Sharon Collins sauntered into Genoa City a few years ago as a gold-digging teenager, desperate to find a boy to mooch off of to feed and clothe herself and her invalid mother. Sharon’s father died when she was a toddler. Her mother Doris was paralyzed during a fight about Frank Barrett, Sharon’s high school lover (Cassie’s father). Sharon ran off in a rainstorm to meet Frank. Doris chased her and was in an auto accident.

Sharon and Grace were best friends and still refer to their wild youth. Sharon earned a GED in Madison after missing one year of school due to her pregnancy, thus finishing high school at almost 19 instead of the usual 18.

Sharon & Doris moved to GC right after this. Sharon worked for minimum wage in a second-hand clothing shop. The rest of the time she could be seen folding laundry in the apartment she shared with her mom, and talking out loud to herself about how to snag a rich boy. The rich boy couldn’t have an ounce of sense or the plan wouldn’t stand a chance.

As luck would have it, Nick Newman was home, fresh from boarding school in Switzerland. He had departed in April of that year at age ten (Jack Abbott was still coaching his little league team) and returned in August (yes, four months later) at age 16 with hormones raging. He was desperate to lose his virginity to the first girl who would have him. He met the bimbo at a pool party and it was instant lust. Soon afterward, Doris gave Sharon an "18^th" birthday party to which Duh-Nick was invited. There was much secrecy and hush-hush about Sharon’s real age (she was actually turning 19). Nick was still in high school. They are supposed to be one year apart in age.

Nick & Sharon dated and she feigned virginity for months. There were many nauseating scenes in the stables with her "holding out." Nick had no idea she was not only sexually experienced, but a mother to boot. They entered their freshman year in college together at GCU and were even voted prom king and queen, or luau prince and princess, or some other silly and vile title which escapes me right now.

During all this time, Sharon’s friend Amy had the hots for Nick and he bedded her. Matt Clark then dated Amy and raped her. Amy shot him with a gun but Newman was blamed when Matt swore he saw Nick pull the trigger. A long ordeal with the state penitentiary ensued and the rich boy almost got raped himself by a creep in a ski cap who shared his cell.

Daddy finally got My Boy out of jail. In the meantime Amy had lost her marbles from the trauma and was deposited in a posh asylum. Though her parents were never seen nor mentioned, she was able to somehow pay the extravagant bills and is presumably there to this day. Rapist Matt escaped and is still at large, but the GC cops have never pursued the gorgeous hunky felon.

Nick learned from Matt that his precious virgin had given it to someone else, and we had to suffer through his sexist wavering on whether or not to accept damaged goods. Eventually true puppy love reigned and Nick & Sharon got married. He was overwhelmed with gratitude to find someone with even less gray matter than he had. Amy was allowed to take a break from insanity for an hour to be their maid of honor. The ingrates have never referred to, spoken to, or visited her since.

Being married to the rich cave boy wasn’t enough for the brainless blank. She became insecure when she saw other girls flirting with him at the coffee shop. She stopped taking her pills and got pregnant on purpose. She stopped attending classes immediately after conception. She might have racked up a year of college credits, but no more. She never began her sophomore year, much less graduated.

After being sprung, Icky Nick went through an accelerated baccalaureate program and earned his degree in four months. He even got to attend special classes in the summer and at night, tutored just for him. Daddy Vic-Hitler arranged it personally with the dean of the school.

Nimrod was aghast that Sharon tricked him into becoming a dad, but eventually accepted baby Noah. Of course no one has a normal delivery in GC; Noah almost died at birth. Instead of being grateful for him, the heinous couple have virtually locked him in the attic for 2+1/2 years to the point where the kid just learned to walk yesterday, and still can’t talk. He spends his five minutes of waking time each day with a paid nanny. The other 23 hours and 55 minutes he is drugged with elephant tranquilizers to keep him comatose and out of the way so the Icksters can "make love" and have several studio portraits taken of the two of them with Cassie alone.

Everyone knows the rest of the story about how Disgrace found Cassie, etc. One has to wunda (as Grace pronounces it) if Nick’s two rolls in the hay with the Centaur were subconscious attempts at revenge on Sharon. Did Victor Newman’s son ever get over the fact that Frank fertilized her first?

In the meantime, dumb Sharon has become dumber by the day. She has no maternal skills or abilities. Common sense is an unknown concept to her. She is completely unable to form an original thought or navigate through life in any way without utter dependence upon her pubescent husband, mother, or precocious daughter. She makes Nikki look like the president of Mensa.

Frank Barrett - Frank is an auto-mechanic in Madison, Wisconsin, was Sharon Collins' high school sweetheart and the biological father of Cassie Johnson.

Victoria Nicole Newman - Married to Ryan McNeil but they divorced. Then Victoria married Cole Howard in Las Vegas, which ended in an annulment when Victor announced that they were half brother and sister. When the paternity tests showed no relation, they remarried. Later they divorced when they drifted apart due to a long business trip. Victoria became pregnant with Cole's child, but little Eve died soon after her birth. The paternity was unclear when Victoria was born. Nikki had tests run, but the results were tampered with and Kevin was named the father. Kevin's mother, Alison, sought out partial custody of Victoria for Kevin after the publicity from Nikki's porno scandal. Alison took Victoria to San Francisco and then to Appleslaw in England to hide out. They were later found.

Ryan McNeil - Married Victoria Newman, but they divorced. He later wed Nina once he found out that she was pregnant. They, too, divorced when he committed adultery with Tricia, who he later married. After Ryan and Victoria married, Victor offered Ryan a blank check to leave Victoria for good. Ryan began to make out the check for $1 million dollars but ended up destroying it. Married current wife, Tricia Dennison. She suffered a miscarriage and was unable to have sexual relations with him. She was on the verge of a nervous breakdown while trying to deal with her sister's relationship with Tony Viscardi and later ran Tony down in what was determined to be a hit and run accident

Cole Howard - Married to Victoria Newman but later divorced. Later married Ashley Abbott but that marriage also ended in divorce. Victor wrote Cole into his will to inherit half of his estate. After two failed marriages, Cole moved away to start a new life and to pursue his writing career.

Victor Adam Newman, Jr. - Son of Victor and Hope. Hope took Victor Jr. away to live and grow up in Kansas because she and Victor had conflicting ideas on how to raise their child. Moved with his mother, Hope, back to Kansas.

Eve Howard - Cole and Victoria's baby. Named after Cole's mother, who supposedly had a child with Victor Newman. Baby Eve died a week after birth.

Noah Newman - First son to Nick and Sharon Newman. Born prematurely due to Sharon's fall in the snow. At age two was still being carried around in a bassinet.

Cassie Johnson - Daughter of Sharon Collins and Frank Barrett. Cassie fought to stand up at the trial and speak in her own defense so that Sharon would gain custody over Alice Johnson, Cassia's adoptive mother, who abandoned her. The court gave Sharon and Nick Newman a temporary, six month custody in April 1999. The Newman's have not sought to gain full custody nearly a year later.

While researching Katherine Chancellor we came across some information about the great Victor Newman some newer readers may find interesting.

It was 1980 when a mysterious business tycoon named Victor Newman arrived in town. Brock Reynolds (Chancellor's son) got to know him and his wife, Julia. Reynolds at the time was a lawyer and had represented the 16-year-old Julia after she was busted for stealing Victor's wheels.

The case was settled and ten years later Julia wound up Victor's wife and in the hospital suffering from injuries sustained in a fall Victor caused. Newman was a jealous and insecure man. Julia asked Brock about getting a divorce but couldn't go through with it when Victor promised he'd be a good boy.

Problem was, Julia had fallen for Brock! But Brock wanted her to work on fixing her marriage. Thinking Julia was fooling around, Victor turned to Lorie Brooks. Lorie wanted the great man to finance a photo studio for Michael Scott. Scott was Lorie's book publicist who had since wanted to go back to being a photographer.

When Victor learned that Julia wanted a baby, he immediately got a vasectomy without telling Julia who had decided she was now in love with Michael Scott for whom she had become a model.

At the same time, Victor's former secretary, Eve Howard, returned to the big city with her six-year-old son. Eve told Julia she had a one night stand with Victor when they were on a business trip. It was then that Charles Victor Howard was conceived. Eve wanted Victor's money.

Julia was shocked. How could Victor cheat on her? Turning to Michael, they had sex.

Victor denied he was Cole's father. Michael warned Victor his jealousy would cost him Julia and then Victor agreed to let Julia model for Michael.

Convinced Eve was blackmailing him, Victor again denied Cole was his son as Julia was discovering she was pregnant and she didn't know who the daddy was. The thought of Julia with Michael outraged Victor. He demanded she choose between him or the baby and went on to tell how he had grown up in poverty. When his mother had become pregnant again his father took off and his mother dumped him in an orphanage where he stayed for ten years. Victor didn't trust anyone until he met Julia and now he feared being left alone.

Later, Victor capitulated. He promised he'd always be there for Julia and the baby. To show his devotion, Victor sent Julia to the hospital for some rest. What she didn't know was that the hospital room was bugged. Julia revealed her intention to leave Genoa City with Michael and Victor flipped. He hired a contractor to build a fallout shelter in the basement at the ranch. Complete with video cameras, Victor lured Michael to the shelter and locked him in. Then he sent Julia a good-bye note from Michael.

Victor also said he was fertile when Cole was conceived and promised to have the vasectomy reversed. Julia thought he had changed until she turned on a monitor by mistake and discovered Michael in the basement!

With Julia's help, Michael got free. But before he could escape, Victor showed up and the two got into a fight. Caught in the middle, Julia fell and lost the baby. Michael trapped Victor in the basement.

Now it just so happened that detective Clueless was on his way to the ranch to ask Victor for a job. Unable to locate the mustache, Clueless became suspicious. After some snooping, he found Victor and set him free.

Julia was in bad shape. Victor promised to God that if Julia lived he would give her the freedom she wanted. And that's exactly what happened. Julia got better and left town with Michael.

Victor gave Eve 50-thousand dollars after she agreed that Cole would attend the best schools in Switzerland. Eve was to tell anyone who asked that she was a widow and that Cole's rich uncle was paying the kid's expenses. And, Julia had to agree that Victor was not Cole's daddy. Eve agreed, packed up her kid and left town.
