What happens when you've got a column to write but little material for it? You search around for rumors of things to happen and by golly if this one isn't a whopper; a sort of Hope Wilson and Victor Newman story in reverse. Granted, it took a lot of creativity to come up with this, but imagine the missing for days Nikki Newman, hit by a speeding car, crawling off in a rain storm to some farm. Not something a normal injured woman would do, it helps embellish the story to say that the old cow was/is "confused". She must have thought it was milking time and there was old Farmer Chancellor willing to take her into his barn.

Can you believe there's another Chancellor when God knows there are so many they've had to name one of them Chance so not to confuse us? And what Chancellor do you know would get his hands dirty working on a farm? The story goes that the farmer could be Katherine Chancellor's "son"; the unseen child she had which was said to be a girl at birth. Hmm, maybe Farmer C had a sex change, you never know in this state of mass confusion.

Since she is confused, Nikki won't recall having been hit by a car and for the time being that will come in handy as it saves Ashley Newman's sorry ass from an attempted murder charge, or the very lease 30-days at the funny farm, not to be confused with the farmer's farm, or who knows, we might see Sharon Collins there slopping pigs, or doing the stable boys. Alone on his farm for so long, the farmer will have sex with Nikki and when her memory returns she'll take him back to the big city. Pray to God he won't say he's never flown on an airplane before, as the blind Hope told Victor.

It would seem too that someone thought to tell Traci Connelly that her sister is having mental problems again and so another visit from Traci is on tap except that this time she'll have hubby Steve in tow and hopefully they'll hook daughter Colleen Carlton to it for their collective departure from Genoa City unless Colleen just happens to take a trip up to that lake where Noah Newman nearly drown, where Brad Carlton did in fact drown, and where Colleen will drown too in perhaps what is a suicide. After what Colleen did this week, she deserves to be dead.
