If Jeff and Gloria spent their time working real
jobs they'd have money in the bank by now. Can't
they see the examples all around them? There is
Victoria and her piano-teethed brother. Dealing with
family tragedies for weeks, suddenly Victoria was up
in arms because Newman son, Adam Wilson, had taken a
phone call from a Japanese cosmetics distributor. So
where did this call come into? Newman Enterprises
cosmetics division? No. Adam's cell phone? God only
knows, except that Adam claims to have saved the
company big bucks and the other Newman children are
pissed.
So uptight and angry are they, Nick and Victoria
knuckle-dragged themselves to the Newman Ponderosa
where they warned Adam that his days living at the
ranch are numbered. Why? Because he "crossed the
line". And how is it that the kiddies get to say who
does and who doesn't live in what Jack once called a
house of horror? Why do these kids care? Because
they're angry Devil Workshop bees. This joke could
only be topped by Victoria screeching that Adam
doesn't have any "family loyalty". Yes friends, this
from a bitch who would have had her father committed
to a nut house not so long ago, and a beastly boy
who would have sent his own father to prison.
Moreover, you can only imagine a pack of squabbling
children annoying their daddy with such trivia that
they'd take it directly to Victor's sick bed where
the great man has just heart surgery and bad
reactions to toxic medication. "Daddy! Daddy! Make
Adam stop! He's playing with our toys," Victoria and
Nick did not actually say, but may as well have for
all the sense it made. A nice knife thrust into
their evil backs, the great man stabbed them with
the news that Adam will get another chance to prove
himself as the Harvard educated business man. A
college degree more impressive than the one Nick got
from a 7-day speed course at Genoa City University,
certainly more impressive than the degree Victoria
doesn't have, Adam will nevertheless have to report
directly to his older brother and sister which will
accomplish nothing but a return to the days when the
children were fussing and fighting over who control
NE until Victor steps and takes it away from them
for the umpteenth time.
Another Oh. My. God. moment, Nick was incensed that
Adam knew about the dead baby? Is there anyone who
doesn't know by now? When a socialite that Sharon is
fails to produced another spawn isn't this in all
the papers? Wasn't there news too of Ashley Newman
having produced a new Newman heir to the throne? For
Christ's sake, how is it that not a single reporter
has managed to get into the God Have Mercy Medical
Center to find out why Victor is a patient there?
With all the baby-switching and bad guys pretending
to be orderlies, how can this be?
