Commentary
by Brent Kellogg
July 2, 2009
Since we know Jana Fisher made bail, was there any
doubt, what astounded me, perhaps you too, was that
Daniel Romalotti, a co-conspirator, was up the
previous night editing photographs of his mother's
daughter. What the hell? Is Summer Newman gonna die? If
photos must be edited, why isn't Phyllis Newman
doing it, or that worthless slug Nick Newman?
And while all-purpose lawyer Michael Baldwin was
working to get charges against him dropped, Daniel
was plotting his next crime, or rather the crime
crazy Kevin Fisher was to pull off? Loopy as it is,
instead of having a lawyer, or God forbid Paul
Williams, searching for the culprit thought
responsible for the death of a man Daniel was
arrested for killing, and given bail while an
un-participating Jana was denied, Daniel and Kevin
removing a cell phone from a police evidence room
will lead them to the real accomplice?
Do you understand this? Seems Kevin did. After 665
arrests in something like four years, Kevin's number
is sure to come up if he gets caught again. You
gotta love though that the local ADA, Heather
Stevens, in the process of wasting time putting away
a lowly maid, would say that trying to get Daniel
and Jana off is a "colossal" waste of time.
And once Jana was sprung she fell to her knees
before God. Oh, thank you God. I promise this is the
last time. No, really. I mean it. You'll see. If I'm
lying, I'm dying. Oops. Bad choice of words. My
husband, well, that's another story. You see those
lights flickering? That's Kevin now swiping the
phone in question because nobody in this god
forsaken criminal justice system had any idea that a
police evidence room would be located in the same
building as the courthouse though you must admit it
makes for speedy trials.
