Jack visits his dad in prison and is excited about NVP. John is happy to see Jack has bounced back and is proud of him, but Jack says to hold that thought. Jack still feels guilty about the Jabot scandal and how he screwed up. John wants him to stop blaming himself. Jack says he is through beating himself up and has started taking measures to improve himself. John wonders if there is something Jack isn't telling him.

Gloria and Jana are happy Alex is gone. As they chat Gloria takes notice of Jana's necklace. Jana says she keeps her keys with them so it's easy to access the register and leaves. Gloria seems a bit suspicious Jana is hiding something.

Kevin is worried Lily is telling the cops everything. Daniel says he couldn't keep lying to Lily as Lily tells the cop she will never forget Alex's face and she would be able to identify him. The tells the cop too to check Crimson Lights as someone may have seen Alex there. Dru comes in and wants to know why the door is open and why Kevin and the cops are there. Neil fills her in on Alex being back in town and sending notes to Lily. Dru hugs her daughter and wishes Lily would've come to them sooner. Neil notices Lily is not telling them something, but Lily says it's nothing. Neil tells Daniel to go over to the Abbotts and get some of their things and they can stay in Lily's old room as it will be safer. Daniel admits the reason Lily wants to stay with Neil and Dru is because she doesn't want anything to do with him and confesses he was responsible for Lily getting hurt. Neil and Dru are angry as they accepted Daniel and were starting to treat him like family. He says it wasn't supposed to happen like that, she wasn't supposed to get hurt. Neil and Dru are still angry that their daughter was almost raped and killed because of him. Neil realizes that's why Lily spent the night with them. Neil tells Daniel he's calling the cops and he [Daniel] is going to jail! Lily takes the phone and says she doesn't want the cops involved and just wants it to be over. Neil wants to know where Alex is but Daniel doesn't know. He says he would never let Alex harm Lily again and will protect her. Neil says his days of protecting Lily are over and tells him to get out! Daniel goes to the door and looks at Lily who doesn't look back as Neil slams the door in his face!

Lily has just finished taking a shower and hears her parents tell her about talking to an attorney about divorce. Dru hasn't thought about that and her expressions say she doesn't want one, at least not yet. Neil tells her that once trust is gone in a relationship there is nothing left, Dru realizes he was talking about their marriage too.

Kevin arrives back at work stressed out. Gloria believes their plan didn't work, but Kevin assures her it did. He tells her about Daniel telling Lily everything and the cops finding out Alex is back in town but that Lily didn't reveal Daniel or Kevin's involvement. Gloria is relieved. Kevin is upset but says it is Daniel who will have to suffer because Lily will probably never forgive him. Kevin is grateful for what Gloria did to him, she says she would do anything for her son. She is worried that Daniel's confession could come back to haunt Kevin but he says it is Daniel who will go through the hard time because of Lily.

Gloria arrives at prison to meet John who tells her about Jack's plans to take over Jabot again. Gloria doesn't seem happy about that, but John says it is good Jack has realized his mistake and is trying to make up for it.

Nikki comes back and asks if there is any word on Sharon. Nick says no and asks where Noah is. Nikki says with her sister, Dr. Casey Reed, for a little vacation. Nikki is worried about Victor, as neither she nor Nick have had any luck contacting him. Nikki goes home to check the answering machine hoping to hear something from Victor.

Nick comes back and asks Brad what is wrong with him as he told them the reliquary is the only way to save Sharon. Victoria says she understands that he has been lying to her again. Brad says he had to make the kidnappers believe they were desperate and it was urgent to find the reliquary. He wants Nick and Vicki to continue searching for it while he finds Sharon. Nick looks at him in anger and wants to know who put Brad in charge as Sharon is his wife and her life is in danger.

Victor is having a serious seizure and Hope keeps asking what's wrong until finally Victor's seizure stops. Hope wants to call for help as Victor gets up and asks what happened. Hope wants Victor to tell her the truth. Victor admits he is afraid, he needs to find out what is out there for him in the time he has left on this earth. As Hope is talking, Victor's hearing becomes bad and the visions of light return. Hope wants to know what is wrong with him! What illness does he have and is he on medication? She notices Victor's silence and reaches out to touch his hand. After asking again for Hope's advice Victor is seen saying good bye to Hope and leaving.

Nikki is at the office calling hotels looking for Victor. Her secretary walks in and gives her the files for the NVP opening but Nikki is not ready to deal with it and wants Jack and Phyllis to work on it instead. Nick calls his mom and wants her to go stay with his Aunt Casey too, but Nikki says she's not going anywhere. Jack arrives and hears about Nikki not coming to the meeting. She asks if he's heard from Victor, he says no and didn't expect to as Victor wanted to be alone. Nikki says this whole idea Victor had was ridiculous and he needs to come home now! Jack asks if there is something Nikki is hiding. She looks at a picture of Nick and Sharon she covers up saying he left too soon and there are things he should be here for. Jack thinks she's talking about the divorce but Nikki is worried that he left too soon after his diagnosis. Jack says he was taking his medication and his symptoms had stopped. Jack offers his support to Nikki through this time and they hug.

Jack comes to the break room and sees Daniel is upset. Daniel tells Jack things are over between him and Lily. Jack says Lily will come around and that some people can be more forgiving to others than they can for themselves. He offers to give Daniel a distraction by asking him to search the Internet for other spas, see what they offer for people in Daniel's age groups, etc.

Nick wants Phyllis to leave, but she won't. While they talk, Brad is talking to Vicki. He knows Nick is angry and Vicki says he has a right to be, but Brad believes it's for the best. He wants to call Paul again, but can't find his phone so Vicki tells him to use the one in the kitchen. Nick comes up to Vicki and says Brad is handling this all wrong. Vicki says he knows what he is doing, but Nick says they can't trust him as his whole life has been a lie and for all they know he may not even want to help Sharon. Vicki doubts that. She says because she feels Brad would go to greater lengths to help Sharon than he would if it was her. Brad overhears as Nick says if anything happens to his wife it will be because of Brad and storms out. Phyllis follows him and says "we" have to find a way to help Sharon. Nick says not "we". He doesn't want Phyllis there. She doesn't want to leave him, he says he has a plan and he doesn't want anyone else involved. She begs him to be careful and says their baby needs a father.

Phyllis returns to work and Daniel tells her that he told Neil and Dru everything. She's worried they'll call the cops or Alex will come after him. He doubts Alex will as there is too much for him to lose and believes Alex has left town already. He tells her Jack has given him work to do to keep him busy and how Jack told him to give Lily time. Phyllis doesn't seem to like that and tells Daniel to start working before Jack gets mad. Phyllis goes to the break room and thanks Jack for keeping Daniel busy. Jack says he would do anything for Daniel and they hug. Jack says it's hard to believe it's been almost two years since their divorce.

At Crimson Lights, Daniel tells Kevin he told Dru and Neil everything but left Kevin's name out. Kevin asks why and Daniel says when he confessed Lily didn't tell her parents so why should he. Daniel says it was the right thing to do and hopes Lily will forgive him one day.

Brad gives Vicki something to drink and tells her he heard her conversation with Nick. He asks if she really believes he would save Sharon and not her. Brad assures Vicki that's not it and says he doesn't want to see Sharon, JT or Nick end up dead because of him. She asks what he means by that; he says Nick has a hot head and if he doesn't cool down soon he is afraid Nick will do something drastic. Vicki says she'll talk to Nick and wants to be alone to work. Brad says he has to check his text messages but still can't find his phone.

We see Nick outside finishing a phone call and then another cell ringing. Brad's! Nick tells the kidnappers not to hang up and says he is Nick Newman and they have his wife not Brad's! He says he will give them anything just don't hurt Sharon.

Brad and Victoria argue about Nick's actions and how he could've put Sharon's life in more danger. Nick is at NE getting some cash and his passport. Brad calls and they argue again about Nick not listening to Brad. When Brad says he wants his phone back Nick tells him to concentrate on Victoria and the rest of the family while he finds Sharon!

Daniel and Kevin are at the coffeehouse talking about whether Dru and Neil will call the cops. Daniel says he's the one that is screwed and Kevin has nothing to worry about. Phyllis walks and talks to Daniel about his relationship with Lily. Daniel says he lied to Lily and was wrong. Phyllis gets a text message on her cell from Nick asking to meet him at the office.

Neil and Carmen are at NE where she returns his sunglasses he left at her place. Dru sees this and hears everything.

Phyllis meets Nick who tells her he's leaving town. She asks where he is going and if Brad is going with him. Nick says he doesn't trust Brad, He's going alone and he wants her to get out of town too because it isn't safe or good for her or the baby. She agrees.

Victoria and Brad are arguing that Abby and Colleen will have spend their life in hiding like he did with his mother. Victoria doesn't want Brad to make promises he can't keep and notices how he keeps mentioning Sharon and not JT and JT may already be dead. Brad says unfortunately they can't worry about that. They need to concentrate on finding the reliquary and hope Nick hasn't made things worse.

Lily tells Devon what Daniel did to her and how he's changed. Devon tries to change her mind.

Dru confronts Neil about the incident with Carmen. He admits he went to her place and had dinner. He defends himself saying he hung out with many friends while she was away. Dru storms off.

Nick calls his mom. He wants Nikki to go stay with Noah but Nikki refuses. When Neil and Carmen arrive Nick informs them he's leaving town and Carmen agrees to hand over any work she has to Neil. Nick asks Carmen to leave so that he and Neil can discuss the business deal they've been working months on and agrees they can't cancel it now. Nick puts Neil in charge while he's gone.

Brad and Victoria are talking when they hear someone banging on the door. It's JT who looks weak and beaten. They get him to the living room as JT says he's worried about Colleen. Brad assures him she's safe and to trust him. JT doesn't. Brad asks how JT got there and what happened. JT explains how some guys knocked him out, he woke up at the construction place, they brought Sharon in later and asked what he knew. When he didn't tell them anything they stuck a needle in his neck and he can't remember anything after that. All he knows is he was in a trunk of a car and someone dropped him off not too far from Brad's house.

Lily tells her mom she's going to the movies with Sierra. Dru asks where Devon is and Lily says he left to take care of some business. Later, Devon shows up at NE looking for Daniel. He barges in and screams at Daniel for what he did to Lily. As they argue Neil overhears and breaks up the fight saying he knows what's going on and how Devon feels but this is not the place to fight. Phyllis also hears. Daniel and Devon are both pissed and walk out. Neil asks Phyllis if she knows, she says yes. She says she knows there is no excuse for what Daniel did, but it was a long time ago. She talks about how good Lily and Daniel are for each other and they didn't think this marriage would last this long. She's proud of them. They have jobs, Lily is going to summer school and that Neil is a good example of forgiving a person for much worse than this as he has stayed with Dru despite everything.

Phyllis meets up with Daniel and says she's leaving for California and wants Daniel to come with her. He doesn't want to, as it would be like running away again. He wishes her a safe trip.

Lily is at the Abbott shed packing her things. Devon calls and asks if she's going to the movies. She doesn't feel like going anymore so he offers to keep her company but she says no. She sits on the chair remembering the good times she and Daniel shared when Daniel walks in but Lily doesn't say anything. She just takes her bag and leaves.

JT, Victoria and Brad argue. JT says he was trying to protect Victoria and Colleen from Brad, but Victoria thinks JT was trying to smear Brad but JT denies that.

Nick calls Phyllis to tell her to call him when she reaches California. She wants him to call her whenever he gets to his destination. He can't make any promises and both say take care of yourself and hang up. Nick sits at his desk and looks at a picture of himself and Sharon, then takes out a paper and calls a number. He talks to someone who is in possession of some antiquities and says he is interested in purchasing them.

Brad gets a call from the kidnapper who says he has no use for JT anymore. The kidnapper says Nick promised he would get the reliquary, as did Brad, but he hasn't received anything. Brad warns him Sharon has nothing to do with this and not to harm her. The kidnapper says time is running out and if he doesn't get what he wants it won't be only Sharon it will be Brad's wife and kids who are next!

It's morning. Brad is frustrated he hasn't had any luck. Victoria wants to keep looking, but Brad says they've been looking all night. He asks if there is any word from Nick, Victoria says no. Brad is worried Nick will screw up. Nick is at the hotel making phone calls to art dealers and a call asking to withdraw money from his account.

Dru and Neil are up and she's walking around with her robe open, flaunting herself openly in front of Neil who tries his best to ignore her. He says he has to get to work and talks about the account Nick has left him in charge of. Dru congratulates him, he thanks her and asks if Lily is up. Dru says Lily left a while ago. Neil wonders about Daniel and hopes Lily is leaving Daniel for good.

Lily is at the coffeehouse calling Colleen but getting her voicemail. She gets a table and sits down and as Daniel walks in they stare at each other.

Brad and Victoria are still talking and now he's blaming himself for what has happened. He let his guard down and now Sharon is in danger. Victoria says he shouldn't blame himself and he wonders if not himself should he blame JT? He knows JT shouldn't have been snooping in his past, but he still feels responsible. JT comes downstairs and has heard everything. Victoria offers to get a bandage to cover up the wound on JT's head, but Brad says that can wait as they need to find Sharon. The doorbell rings, it's Paul with something for Brad.

Daniel walks over to Lily and thanks her for calling him. Lily wants to know if he'll be at the Abbotts today as she wants to get more of her things. He says he'll be working all day and asks how long she'll be staying with her parents. She doesn't know. He offers to help her, she says no. He apologizes again but Lily figures he's just sorry she found out what he did and walks out.

Nick calls Phyllis and doesn't get through. He leaves a message wanting to know she reached California safely and says he has his own plan to save Sharon.

Brad, Paul, JT, and Victoria are talking. They think Sharon may have left a clue. Paul and JT decide to stay at the house while Brad and Victoria leave. Brad doesn't want Victoria to get involved, but she says she already is and he needs her as he can't do this alone. He agrees. Paul says there will be someone watching the house 24/7 so they don't have to worry. Brad takes a gun out of his bag to which Victoria says she still has a lot to learn about him.

Sharon is lying on the ground tied up. She regains consciousness and takes the cloth off her mouth. She calls out to anyone for help and tries to make noises.

Daniel arrives for work and runs into Neil. He says he just wanted to put his lunch in the fridge. Neil warns him to keep his distance as he doesn't want to see Daniel. He tells Daniel if he sees him coming he wants Daniel to turn and walk to the other way. Daniel puts his lunch in the fridge and again apologizes for what he did. Neil tells him to stay away from his daughter.

Dru is at NE, runs into Carmen and says she's looking for Neil. Carmen hasn't seen him. Dru apologizes for her behavior the other day and hopes they can start over. Dru asks Carmen if she wants to have lunch, but Carmen declines and leaves.

Carmen runs into Neil and tells him Dru is looking for him. She can see something is bothering him,. He's trying hard not to do something he will regret (referring to Daniel). Neil apologizes to Carmen for Dru giving her a hard time, and she mentions Dru wanting to do lunch but she isn't able to go. They talk about the good time they had as friends and leaves.

Neil goes to see Dru. She wants to have lunch with him. Neil asks if it's only because Carmen declined. Dru is surprised, as they were talking about her. She wants to have lunch, but he declines saying they can do lunch another time and he'll get something at the coffeehouse. Dru is annoyed.

Neil is at the coffeehouse and Carmen arrives too. He wants her to join him, but she says she has work to do. Neil insists sp she finally agrees.

Daniel is at Dru's office dropping off stuff for her when she asks him to leave. He wants to finish his work, but she orders him to leave and really gives it to him. He apologizes but Dru doesn't want to hear it. She says her daughter's life was perfect before he came along and she thought they would only have to keep their eye on Kevin but they were wrong. She wants him to stay away from her daughter and says the only reason she didn't call the cops was because Lily asked her not to, but if it was up to her he would be rotting in jail.

Lily is now home. She puts on some music and via split screen we see both she and Daniel are sad.

JT keeps calling Colleen but no answer. Paul assures him she's safe but JT wants to hear her voice. They continue looking for clues on the videotape with Sharon. The phone rings. It's Colleen surprised to hear JT's voice. She asks if Sharon is okay, he says he doesn't know and mentions the kidnappers which shocks Colleen. JT doesn't want to talk about that. He wants to talk about her. He knows she can't say much but just wants to know she is safe. She slips and says she is in some guys living room. She realizes she shouldn't have mentioned that. He says it is alright, they both say they miss each other and hang up.

Brad and Victoria arrive at Nick's hotel. Nick is not happy to see them. They say it was easy to trace Nick as Victoria mentioned an art dealer and next thing she knows Nick was gone. Nick doesn't want Victoria involved but she is already. Brad and Nick argue again, but Victoria tells them to stop as it won't get them anywhere. Nick wants them to stay quiet when the art dealer arrives. There is a knock, it's the art dealer. He sees Brad and Victoria there and asks what is going on he thought they would be alone.

Sharon sees a blade sticking out of the floor and tries to get to it. She finally reaches it and tries cutting herself loose.

JT and Paul continue to look for clues. JT describes what the guy looked like and then it hits him. He remembers there were trucks that could be heard all the time, even at night.

Nick assures the man that he can trust Brad and Victoria and anything the man says can be said in front of them. They inquire about the artwork. The man says most of it was stolen during WW2 only some were recovered and have since been sold. Nick doesn't believe it, and believes the man recently sold one.

Dru arrives at the coffeehouse and sees Neil and Carmen laughing and having a good time. When she approaches them Neil says they were just discussing business. Carmen says her meeting was cancelled and Dru says hers was cancelled too. Carmen excuses herself and Neil's mood changes from happy to unhappy.

Colleen calls Lily. Lily tells her about Daniel and Kevin's plan and how the notes were for her and not Colleen. Colleen blames the entire thing on Kevin and asks Lily what she's going to do. Lily doesn't know. Colleen feels terrible for Lily. Lily wants to see her. Colleen doesn't know when she will be back and can't say much. Colleen says she now knows her father isn't a bad guy, he is the best.

Neil and Dru are talking. He isn't happy with Dru's behavior. She realizes the flirtation between them, but Neil says she's reading too much into it and leaves.

JT and Paul look at the tape again and finally see a clue. There is something written on the floor next to Sharon. They wonder what it is as it isn't clear.

Sharon is able to untie herself, gets to her feet, but is still weak. As she gets up the door opens and the shadow of a man and a bright light can be seen.

Brad, Nick and Victoria continue talking with the art dealer. Victoria shows him some art manuscript and he says he has two reliquaries but unfortunately not the ones they're looking for. Victoria shows him a picture of the one they need but the man says he doesn't have it which upsets them all. Victoria asks if he knows where they can get it, but he doesn't. She says she will buy the two pieces he has anyways. He wants $100,000 each. Vicki says they aren't worth half that! She offers $60,000, he says $75,000. They make a deal, he leaves to get the pieces. Brad asks Nick and Vicki what they're doing, why they bought the pieces when they are of no use. They say it is something, better than nothing. Brad's phone rings. Nick takes the call from the kidnapper who asks if they have the reliquaries. Nick says almost. The kidnapper says almost is not good enough and that time has run out. He puts Sharon on the phone. She's tied up again and begs Nick for help. Nick keeps saying Sharon's name and at one points screams it. The kidnapper takes the phone saying that's the last time he will hear his wife's voice. Nick begs for more time but the kidnapper says it's too late. He has a gun to Sharon's head and tells Nick to say goodbye to his wife. A gunshot can be heard and a look of shock spread across Nick's face.

Nick is freaked out by the gunshot and says he failed. Vicki is also scared. Brad says they couldn't have shot her and just did it to scare them. He says they won't kill her because they want the reliquaries and he wants Nick to keep it together. The phone rings, Brad answers, it's Paul with news that he has a clue Sharon may have left them in the videotape, a number which may tell them where Sharon is.

Jack and Ashley are getting ready to go to the prison to meet John for his birthday. Gloria wants to join them. They don't want her, but she says the best gift to give John is to see his family getting along. Michael appears with great news about John who is seen in prison saying he feels sorry for himself on his birthday. A guard says he knows, but asks John to cheer up as his family is coming to visit. John says he knows but he feels lonely when they leave.

The kidnapper calls back. Nick asks what the hell he did to his wife? Brad takes the phone. The kidnapper says he didn't shoot Sharon he was just testing them. Brad asks to talk to Sharon so the kidnapper takes the cloth off her mouth and tells her to speak. Brad asks if she is okay, she says yes and begs him to give the kidnapper whatever he wants and repeats herself. The kidnapper takes the phone again as Brad asks for more time and says he'll get they what they want.

Michael tells everyone John could be released from prison because of his age and health. Everyone is happy. Gloria hugs her son and says he is the best son a mother could have. Jack and Ashley are overjoyed!

Katherine comes to visit John in prison. She gives him a book. He thanks her for visiting him and says he's happy he has friends like her and family to help him through this.

Jack and Ashley thank Michael for what he's done. Michael says it was because of him John went to jail in the first place so it was the least he could do. Jack and Michael shake hands. Michael says John is a good man and he leaves. Jack and Ashley are extremely happy and say it feels like Christmas as they leave to see John.

The Art dealer returns with the two reliquaries. Nick shows him the money. They ask again about the piece they want and say they are willing to pay any price for it. Brad fakes and says he got a text message on his cell; they may have found the piece they are looking for. The art dealer says it has been a pleasure doing business with them and leaves. Nick wants to know why Brad lied. Brad says to put pressure on the dealer to find the piece. Vicki says there is a lot of similarities to the reliquaries they have now and the one they are looking for. Brad and Nick wonder what she's getting at.

Gloria arrives at the prison. John says he's proud of her and how well she's doing at Jabot and Katherine taking a liking to her. Gloria gives him the good news and both John and Katherine are shocked! They ask how, she says the governor may commute John's sentence to time served. John is in tears. Katherine asks if Gloria is positive, she says yes. Katherine says John can return to Jabot! Gloria is happy to hear that.

Michael meets Lauren at the coffeehouse to give her the good news and how Jack thanked him. Lauren tells him she did something about his grandmother. He doesn't seem happy, she says it is up to him if he wants to pursue it.

JT and Paul continue looking for what the clue can be. It could a shipping container or back of a truck. Brad calls to say he bought them more time and Vicki has come up with a plan to get a look alike of the reliquary. Paul asks if that could work, Brad says it could. They just have to make sure they get Sharon first before anyone gets killed. Victoria has found a nearby art store and decides to go there. While she's gone Brad tells Nick he has a right to be angry but right now both need to put their differences aside and work together or Sharon is as good as dead.

Ashley and Jack arrive at the prison after Gloria and Katherine have left. Turns out both Katherine and Ashley bought John the same present! Ashley asks if Gloria told him the good news, he says yes and that Katherine wants him to return to Jabot and, if the lawsuit passes, he wants Jack back too. Jack says that isn't possible as long as Katherine is running Jabot.

Katherine and Gloria are at home drinking tea. Gloria pitches an idea to Katherine - perfume on a necklace! A small bottle attached to the necklace containing the Jabot logo. Katherine says it's a good idea and asks who thought of it. Gloria says she did.

Michael wants to go ahead with whatever Lauren has because he wants it to benefit his son. Lauren asks what makes him think they will have a boy, he says whether it is a girl or boy, he will be happy.

Nick is looking on the Internet and tells Brad he found something interesting. Brad gets a call from Rebecca bringing him up to speed on his daughters. Everyone's fine. When Brad asks if Rebecca knows anything about the kidnappers she says she doesn't like reliving those days, but says she will do whatever she can to help Brad save Sharon.

Ashley arrives home. Katherine tells her about Gloria's new idea. Ashley asks if Gloria ran it by Jill. Katherine says considering Jill loves jewelry she doesn't see a problem.

Jill arrives to see John and hopes she didn't chase Ashley out. John and Jack say no as Jack leaves. Jill realizes Jack still blames her for him getting let go. John tells her not to worry and shares his good news. She has news of her own. Billy is coming back for a visit. John is overwhelmed.

Michael and Lauren are discussing baby names, she asks about Madison. Michael doesn't like that, she does. Lauren asks what about boys, he says Bubba! She asks him to be serious he says he is, she asks what about the name Ethan. He likes it.

Victoria returns and Brad says he talked about his mom being a star witness and one of the kidnappers being executed. Victoria asks if this could be about revenge. Brad says in some sick way it makes sense. Nick says if that was the case why wouldn't they go after Rebecca, why ask about the reliquary? Brad says he doesn't know but he's going to find out.

John is alone holding his head when Jack comes back and notices. John says he's okay. Jack has been thinking, he doesn't want his father to jump into things so fast, John says he is too excited and says he will make Gloria more involved in Jabot. Jack says that is a bad idea, John gets annoyed and says Gloria is a part of the family now and whether Jack likes it or not she will be a part of Jabot.

Jill is with Gloria, Ashley and Katherine. She loves Gloria's idea and wants to get started right away. Ashley thinks they should wait until her father gets home and Jill learns John is taking over again. She is shocked and mad. Katherine tries to calm her down. Gloria and Ashley argue a bit more, and Gloria excuses herself saying she needs some air. Katherine assures Jill she has big plans for her and not to worry.

Michael and Lauren decide to find out the sex of their baby. Michael calls the doctor, but Lauren changes her mind again and says she doesn't want to know.

Paul has found out that the number doesn't match any license plate but it does match one of the shipping containers for a company called Gerrard Trucking located in Cleveland!

Victoria is trying to make a replica of the reliquary the kidnappers are looking for. She gets frustrated and Brad asks her to stay calm as he knows she can do this. He has faith in her. Victoria is worried she won't be done in time and Sharon could die.

Gloria is in a good mood and meets Michael and Lauren. Her mood changes when she finds out Michael searched for his grandmother and Lauren has found an expert that may be able to restore the diary. Gloria doesn't know why he is digging up the past; a father who abandoned them when he has a good marriage and a child on the way. Michael agrees, but Lauren says she needs to know his medical history. Gloria regrets ever meeting Lowell or Tom, but Lauren says she did right with John Abbott. Gloria agrees.

Jill still doesn't think it is a good idea to have John come back to Jabot, Ashley agrees saying her father has a heart condition and this could be bad for his health.

Jack and John are arguing but Jack decides it isn't worth it. He doesn't want to fight with his dad. He hugs John, wishes him a Happy Birthday and leaves. John again holds his head, it is hurting him badly, he then holds his right eye. The guard comes to take John back and John says he has no vision in his right eye.

Victoria is almost finished making the replica of the reliquary when Brad gets a call from the kidnapper asking if he has the reliquary. Brad says they agreed on more time, the kidnapper says time is out, it's now or never. Brad says they have I, and are ready for exchange! Nick and Victoria look at the replica hoping this works.

The doctor is checking John in prison. John says he's fine, but before everything was blurry and couldn't see out of his right eye. The doctor asks John his other symptoms and after describing them asks the doctor is there is something wrong.

Gloria, Jack and Ashley are arguing over John's release when they get a call from the warden who tells them John has been taken to Memorial hospital.

Dru and Lily argue over Daniel. Neil wants Dru to leave her alone, Lily wants the same. Dru won't stop. Neil apologizes to Lily for what she's going through and sympathizes with her. Lily whines about having her trust broken yet again by someone she cares about.

Daniel is at the coffeehouse talking with Kevin. He tells of his argument with Lily's parents and regrets not telling Lily before. Kevin says Lily is not perfect, no one is. Daniel admits there was one time Lily kept something from him, but that was because she was sworn to secrecy. Kevin says Lily lies to, she lied to her parents about running off with Daniel and getting married, she isn't perfect.

Dru wants to take Lily shopping, but Lily won't go. She says she's moving out soon so Dru begins giving a lecture. Lily says she moved out for a reason and it doesn't matter if she's having problems with Daniel she's not going to live with her parents.

Gloria, Jack and Ashley are at the hospital. Jack and Gloria argue again but Ashley breaks it up saying this will just drive Gloria crazy and make everyone else crazy too. Katherine arrives as they wait for news on John's condition.

Neil tells Lily he'll support her decision to move out but he doesn't want her to make any rash decisions. He says she doesn't have to get a divorce from Daniel; he can file an annulment on her behalf because she got married when she was underage. Lily says she has only been back for a day and they're already talking about divorce and wants to stop being treated like a child. Dru and Neil argue, Neil says Dru's problem is that she thinks having Lily home temporarily will make them one big happy family - it won't.

Daniel and Kevin are still talking. Kevin talks about Jana. Daniel sees how much Kevin likes her, but also reminds Kevin he doesn't know Jana that well. Kevin doesn't seem to mind. He gets a call from Gloria who wants him to meet her at Memorial.

Ashley tells Jack she's worried about her father as she thinks he may have been assaulted because he could be getting out of prison soon. Jack doesn't think so. Jack has flashbacks of his argument with John about Gloria until Ashley snaps him out of it. The doctor meets with everyone to say John is having problems with his vision. They're running tests and finding out John suffered a mild stroke. While Ashley, Katherine and Jack are hoping for the best, Gloria fears for the worst.

Dru knows Neil is pissed, but wants him to put aside his feelings for Lily's sake. They argue about ways to handle Lily. Neil says their daughter's life was almost taken and Daniel and Lily's marriage is over! Dru just stares at him.

Daniel is running the coffeehouse until Jana arrives. He sees a happy couple and reminisces about his relationship with Lily (the song Left of Me by Nick Lachey is playing in the background).

Ashley and Gloria both worry they're not getting the full story. Gloria fears they will send John back to prison before she gets to talk to him. Ashley and Katherine disagree, but Jack agrees with Gloria as last time John was sick they had a hard time convincing the prison to get him help. The doctor gives them an update. John is doing better. They want to see John before he goes back to prison, the doctor says that won't happen tonight as John is still weak. Gloria wants to see him first, Jack doesn't want her too, but Ashley and Katherine say it will be less stressful and she will be a calming influence or at least they hope so. She leaves; Katherine tries to reassure Jack and Ashley about their father. Kevin arrives; Katherine says John suffered a minor stroke. He asks if John is going to be okay, Ashley says the doctors are optimistic. Jack worries Gloria will worry his father more.

Lily is not happy that her mother is trying to act like everything is alright, because it isn't. She says she's going out because she feels suffocated.

Gloria visits John and cries. She apologizes for crying, but John says it's okay. He knows she would be worried. Gloria is just happy that the prison got him there in time; John says after the medication scare, he doesn't think the prison was going to take any chances. Gloria fears the guards will take John away any minute, but John says he will be out of there in no time.

Kevin is upset at the way Jack keeps bad mouthing his mother. Katherine and Ashley tell Kevin the good news about Michael working with the Governor's office for a possible early release for John. Kevin is happy. Gloria comes back to say John is fine as Ashley leaves to see John. Jack asks Gloria what she meant by fine. Gloria says he was sitting up in bed, filling out forms and making jokes. Katherine says that's a good sign.

Dru blames Neil for Lily possibly going back to Daniel. Neil says she's an adult now and Lily needs to make decisions about her own life. Dru says not now. Neil gets angry, and says this is typical of Dru.

Lily arrives at the coffeehouse. She sees Daniel behind the counter and asks what he's doing there. Daniel says Kevin had to take off so he's filling in. He asks if she wants something, but she says no and walks away. He follows her and asks her if everything is ok, she says no.

Ashley is talking to her dad when Jack comes in. They share a nice moment. The nurse comes in and says only one visitor. Ashley leaves, John says he loves her. Jack says he will work with Michael to ensure John gets out of jail; he doesn't want this to happen again. John says it's getting stuffy and asks to open the window. Jack notices something is wrong. The nurse sees John's condition getting serious and asks Jack to leave.

Daniel asks Lily what's going on, Lily says she's only been home one day and her parents try to act like everything is okay. She's sick of it because they are trying to control her again when their life is more screwed up than hers. Daniel says she can always come back to their place, but she says it isn't an option. She's upset that she went back to her parents. She's hurt she has no one to turn to, or talk to. Daniel hugs her, after a while she hugs back.

Dru continues to blame Neil for the way he handled the situation with Lily. He's sick of her always acting like things are okay and always wanting to handle things her own way. Dru says she sick of apologizing for her mistake, she has admitted she is wrong, but shouldn't have to keep hearing about it. Neil admits he also made mistakes and says this is Dru's fault. Lily wouldn't have to go through this if Dru hadn't lied and he's sick of it! He says Dru is right; they have to look to the future; he doesn't like living this way and storms out.

Jack comes in the waiting room. Kevin asks what is wrong. Jack says John complained about his breathing and doesn't know what's happening. There is a call on the intercom for assistance in room 322. They realize it's John's room and run to see what is happening. They see numerous people going in and realize something bad is happening.
