Lily blames herself for not taking Devon with her when she got vaccinated. Daniel tells her not to blame herself. Dru and Neil return, upset and worried for Devon. Neil says hearing loss is a side effect of meningitis. Dru says they don't know for sure yet. The doctors are running more tests.

The doctors are checking Devon's hearing, his face is full of fear and frustration. He screams he doesn't hear anything!

Brad tells Victoria he isn't going to the office today as it's Yom Kippur, the day of atonement. He hopes to wipe the slate clean of his sins and start his life again. Victoria says it's not that easy and she feels it's easier for Brad to kill bad guys than open up to her.

Sharon is just finishing up a call with Nick about Noah when Victor walks in. He was impressed by the interview she did for NVP. She thanks him. She talks about it being odd what good friends Victor and Jack have become. Victor agrees.

Jack takes Billy into another room and Billy again confronts Jack about being behind Raaz Cosmetics. He says he may be able to help.

The doctors tells the Winters that Devon is not able to hear anything and they will need to run more tests. They go in to see Devon who is frustrated as he can't hear a word they're saying. Neil gets a paper and a marker and writes that the doctors are going to run more tests. Devon asks if they can fix this. Dru says yes. She wants him to have some water, but he shoves it away and is visibly upset. Lily's heart breaks watching Devon.

Sharon tells Victor she is happy to see him back at work as she was beginning to forget who he was, especially around Jack. Victor says he has begun to understand Jack very well.

Gloria storms into Kevin's office and wants to know what is going on. He says Michael swore him to secrecy and he isn't going to risk going to jail. Gloria promises she won't say a word and begs Kevin to tell her. He closes the door, and tells her not to say a word. He informs her Michael has found proof Jack was behind it and is telling Katherine right now. Gloria knew it, and is happy.

Michael shows Katherine proof about Jack being behind the deal. She asks where he got this information. Michael says he can't reveal his sources and Katherine wouldn't want to know.

Jack drops hints he was behind the deal and Billy says Michael and Kevin are onto him. He offers to be a mole for Jack and they shake hands!

Brad is at NE talking to Victor about the shock of his mother returning. Victor is happy his mother is alive and well. He asks how things are going with Victoria. Brad says he is trying to reassure her and help her through this. Victor says Brad placed his family in danger. Brad apologizes and hopes this won't affect their relationship. Victor says that is in the past and it is what Brad does from now on that counts!

Katherine asks Michael if the proof he has will affect Chancellor Industries. He says she's in the clear, She makes a call and cancels the deal with Raaz Cosmetics pretending she never saw the proof.

Jack fills Billy in on what he's done and how nothing can be traced back to him. Billy loves it, but talks about the House of Kim. Jack says they raised their offer by 25 million and Katherine would be a fool not to take it. Billy says this could work as Jabot Cosmetics is the best there is. Jack agrees and asks Billy to spy more and get information. Billy wants a favor. Jack says sure. Billy wants to be the one to fire Kevin and see the look on his face. He leaves, Jack smiles. John reappears and says he is ashamed of Jack for dragging his kid brother into his plan.

The doctors are running more tests for Devon's hearing but nothing works. Devon just gets more frustrated. Neil is sitting in the waiting room with Lily next to him holding his hand. Dru sits on another chair and Daniel puts his hand on her shoulder for support, She cries. The doctor return and tells them about Devon not being able to hear. He will have to communicate through sign language and lip reading. Lily is upset that Devon is deaf as he lives for music.

Sharon asks Brad how he's doing. He thanks her for helping him see Victoria's side and her not wanting to have children. He says he has caused a lot of pain to a lot of people including Sharon. She tells him she is not a victim. She made her own choices. Like them sleeping together, her delivering the suitcase, and it not being his fault, not even the kidnapping. Brad feels Sharon is being too easy on him, but she says if anyone was robbed it was Brad as he was unable to live a normal life.

Rebecca comes home and talks to Victoria about Brad.

Gloria is grateful to her sons for all their help and hugs them.

Jack tells John that Billy is a big boy who has made his own decision. The right one. John says he tricked him into writing a new will and now this. Jack says Gloria can rot in hell for all he cares and he doesn't regret what he's done. He walks out, but is visibly shaken from the conversation.

Victor asks Victoria if she is having any problems with Brad. She says they are working on it together, but if there was any problems hee would be the first one she came to.

Billy questions his grandmother about not selling. She talks about Jack and wanting to see the look on his face knowing she is not selling. She asks if he told his brother anything about the House of Kim. He says Katherine told him not to say anything. He offers to give Katherine a ride to the AC. She accepts and hopes Billy keeps his word.

Jack learns from Abhijit that Katherine cancelled their meeting and wants to know why.

Gloria wants to go celebrate but Michael warns her not to get too confident. She knows Jack won't give up, but them working as a team proves Jack can be beat. Michael says he has a career, a wife and a child on the way, and he is not going to risk everything to help Gloria again!

Katherine meets with someone from the House of Kim. He tells her he is interested in buying Jabot and knows Raaz Cosmetics has made an offer. He says Raaz is a huge competition overseas and he would love to acquire Jabot Cosmetics. He shows Katherine his offer. Katherine seems interested and says she will get back to him.

Billy tells Jack what he knows. Jack realizes Katherine knows he's behind the deal. He doesn't know how. Billy says he warned him about Kevin and Michael acting weird.

Dru and Neil are in the room with Devon. He's trying to act brave saying it is temporary. Devon hopes for the best, but he is scared out of mind. Lily walks in and Devon wants to talk to her alone. Devon tells her not to cry and she says she will help him. He can't hear her so she writes down on a paper how she can help. He gets frustrated and wants her to leave, but she doesn't. She stays by his side as he admits how scared he is. He cries and so does Lily as she hugs him.

Sharon and Brad are talking. He says she is an amazing woman and Nick was a fool to let her go. Sharon says Victoria is the same if she lets him go, that is if he's still committed to making his marriage work. Brad says he is. Victoria walks in and is not happy to see them together. She thought Brad wasn't coming to the office. Sharon excuses herself and leaves. Brad says he wasn't going to work today, but came by to see Victor. He wants Victoria to join him and Rebecca at the temple tonight for prayers but Victoria says she has a lot of work at the office. She apologizes, Brad understands and leaves.

Sharon is in the break room. She doesn't look good. Jack notices as he walks in. Sharon asks if he's ever had one of those days where everything is just out of place. He understands where she is coming from and wants to have dinner with her tonight. She wants to cancel for another night and go home. Jack is upset, but understands. She kisses him goodbye and leaves. John reappears and tells Jack it isn't easy losing and says perhaps Sharon figured him out. Jack says great Casper the Guilt trip is bad. He wants his father to leave and the next time he appears he is calling an exorcist!

Michael meets Katherine who tells her about House of Kim. She wants to make their offer higher. She warns Michael not to say a word to anyone about this!

Michael meets with Katherine and discuss her conversation with Mr. Kim. He wants her to sell, but she wants Michael to make sure Jack isn't behind the offer. Michael says there is no connection, but will do his best to reassure Katherine. She warns him to be careful and make sure the information he got before on Raaz Cosmetics stays with him.

Gloria is overjoyed about the fact they defeated Jack this time around. Kevin warns her to be careful as they don't want Jack to know what they've done.

Billy meets Jack and asks if it's true Katherine turned down the deal. Jack says yes. Billy wants to know why he isn't pissed. Jack says to give it time. Billy realizes Jack isn't giving up. Jack says he's just getting started. Their father's company will be back in his hands.

A woman meets with Devon to help him with his hearing. She gives him a pamphlet and wants him to email his professors about completing his classes online.

Daniel and Neil are at home and have bought a lot of things to help Devon cope with his hearing loss. Neil wants to set up everything before Devon gets home and Daniel agrees to help him.

Billy realizes his brother has a plan but before Jack can get into it Katherine walks in. Jack says he was on his way to meet her about NVP when he ran into Billy. Jack again makes an offer to Katherine who says her answer will always be no. Ashley walks in looking for Gloria as Gloria walks in. Ashley wants the meeting held in her lab instead as she is working on some new experiments. Katherine tells Gloria she isn't selling to Raaz Cosmetics and looks at Jack. Gloria tells Jack he must be happy. Jack says the Abbott's couldn't be happier.

Katherine and Jack meet at her office to discuss NVP. Katherine is glad they can still discuss business and says Jack could have easily cancelled the NVP/Jabot deal. Jack wouldn't do something that foolish. He just has to trust that what Katherine does is best for Jabot. She assures him that's the case. Jack is just glad she didn't sell it to an overseas company.

Kevin runs into Billy and is grinning ear to ear. He says Billy wanted to get rid of him, but that isn't going to happen right now. Billy warns him not to get too confident but Kevin is sure he's won!

Gloria meets with Ashley to discuss her perfume line. Ashley is impressed with the hard work Gloria has done. However, she still has her doubts as there are some cons to her project. Gloria says they can be worked out and wishes Ashley would co-operate with her.

Daniel and Neil setup a computer for Devon. Neil is impressed with how much Daniel knows. Daniel explains his roommate in Switzerland was a computer geek and learned a lot from him. Daniel says this will really help Devon and can't imagine what he's going through. Neil agrees. Daniel says he has his family there for him, and him too. Neil says Daniel is Devon's family. Daniel is touched.

The lady gives Devon a mini computer to help Devon communicate with everyone. He gets frustrated while using it, but Lily says they will learn together. Dru says she will be right back and meets with the doctor. She wants to know if her son's hearing loss is permanent as Devon thinks he is getting his hearing back. The doctor says in most cases it is irreversible, but will still refer Devon to an audiologist.

Ashley and Katherine talk about Ashley's attitude about Gloria. Ashley says even though Gloria is annoying this is her father's company and she wants Jabot to be successful. Katherine is happy to hear that.

Michael wants Kevin to find out whatever he can about House of Kim.

Lily attempts to teach Devon sign language using a chart he received. He tries, but after a while says he doesn't want to do it anymore. Lily types on his machine, he says she'll break it. He gets frustrated and pulls it away from her. He attempts to walk away but is still weak. Dru walks in and calms him down. He apologizes. Dru hugs him and tries to reassure him everything will be okay.

Ashley meets with Gloria and says she's interested in her project and would like to work closely with her. Gloria likes the idea.

Michael talks to Katherine about Gloria being a grieving widow. Katherine says she's been in Gloria's place, but she can't hang onto a multi-million dollar company because of it. Michael understands and leaves.

Michael meets with Kevin who has done all the research he can for House of Kim. He also shows Michael a printout of Jack's last email to Abhijit Nair. He has sent an email terminating all business ties with Raaz Cosmetics as he believes Mr. Nair sabotaged the deal. Kevin is positive that Jack doesn't think they're involved, but Michael wonders if that's the case. Later, Michael makes a couple of calls and Kevin looks over the House of Kim reports. It has been a success every single year! Kevin asks Michael if they're done as he has to go and asks Michael if Katherine will sell. Michael doesn't see a reason she won't as there is no proof Jack is connected to House of Kim.

Daniel and Neil test out the computer, but are having difficulty. Neil says Devon will be home soon and they hear the door. Neil thinks it's Devon, but Daniel says it isn't. Neil opens the door and it's Kevin! He is pissed to see him, but Daniel says he called him. Neil refuses to let Kevin in, but Daniel says they are desperate as Devon will be home any moment. Neil is reluctant, but finally lets him in. Kevin says it's probably a security matter and will have it fixed in no time.

The doctor tells Devon he is free to go and Devon leaves. Dru follows. She tells him to sit in the wheelchair as it's hospital policy. He refuses, but Dru gets him to.

Kevin has fixed the problem and Neil thanks him. Kevin leaves. Neil is just happy Kevin could fix the problem. Devon comes home and Neil hugs him. He sees the new computer and Daniel tells him it will help Devon to communicate with everyone. The keyboard is wireless and the entire apartment has been wired so Devon can use it anywhere in the apartment. Dru tells Neil she just ran into Kevin. He says they were having trouble and Kevin was able to help. Dru isn't pleased, but wants what's best for Devon.

Jack meets with Ashley who is frustrated with Gloria. She says Gloria's project is really good and she can see why Jill and Katherine promoted her. It frustrates Ashley that Gloria continues to impress and is walking with her head held high. Ashley realizes Jack is up to something, but he leaves before she can find out anything.

Devon uses the computer but there is a glitch in the connection and it fails. Devon gets frustrated and goes to his room while Daniel attempts to fix the problem.

Michael feels guilty for being sworn to secrecy by Katherine and seeing his mother so happy that Katherine hasn't sold.

Gloria meets with Ashley and shows her a report. She talks about having a meeting next week to discuss the project further. Ashley tries her best to put on a brave face, but her facial expressions say otherwise.

Michael meets with Katherine and shows her the information he collected on House of Kim. He says there is no evidence connecting House of Kim to Jack and Katherine says she's made her decision. She is selling Jabot! A split screen shows, Katherine, Michael, Jack and Gloria.

Sharon and Dru are at NE where Dru confides her fear for Devon to Sharon. Dru blames herself for concentrating more on her own problems than Devon. Sharon tells her not to blame herself and asks what the doctors said. Dru says Devon's hearing loss may be permanent and she's worried about him.

A repairman is at the Winters installing a sensor device which will help Devon know when someone is at the door.

Dru tells Sharon she is moving back home. Sharon thinks Dru and Neil are back together. Dru says no but she wants to be near her son. Sharon understands. Dru thanks Sharon for letting her stay at the ranch and Sharon is also grateful. She tells Dru she is always welcome and can keep the keys. They share a hug as Jack walks in. He expresses his support to Dru in her rough times and gives her a hug. Dru leaves. Jack is glad to see a friendly face - Sharon. He talks about Gloria and how he can't stand her. He doesn't like the fact that Katherine loves her. Jack also talks about Katherine almost selling Jabot and his dislike. Sharon understands as it was his father's company. Jack is just happy Katherine is not selling.

Katherine and Michael meet with the House of Kim. They sign the final papers and seal the deal!

Gloria questions Kevin about Katherine selling Jabot, but he says nothing.

Billy and Colleen are at the coffeehouse talking about feeling bad for Devon. Both are relieved they were vaccinated and Colleen complains about the hard time her professor is giving her. Billy tells her to drop the class, but she doesn't want to. She loves art, and starts to talk about it, amazing Billy. He says she was always fascinated with designer bags and JT. Colleen says she was inspired by a great woman who knows about the art first hand.

Gloria confronts Katherine and finds out Jabot has been sold to House of Kim. Gloria is upset and worries both she and Kevin will be out of jobs and on the streets. Michael says she won't be out on the streets as she stays with him. Katherine says Gloria still has her memories of John and tries her best to reassure her.

Dru arrives home as Daniel helps with her bags. Devon is happy and gives her a hug. Lily tells Dru about the websites she and Daniel found so they can all learn sign language. Devon wants to know what they're talking about. Neil tells him to go to the computer - he does. Neil suggests he take the semester off and learn sign language. He refuses, asking them not to run his life and he's going back to school!

Jack tells Sharon about not wanting to let go of his father's company. Sharon understands, as it was, and still is, hard for her to let go of anything belonging to Cassie. She sees why Jack wouldn't want to let go of Jabot and tells him it doesn't matter what others think. He has to do what's best for him. Jack says he hopes everything falls into place like it is supposed to.

Jill is shocked to learn from her mother that Jabot has been sold. Katherine says Jill's job is secured for a year and there is always a place at Chancellor Industries. Katherine asks if she's alright. Jill says no. She is hurt. John is gone - now Jabot. She says it's the end of an era and can't imagine how the Abbott's will feel.

Dru tells Neil her worry for Devon going to school and not being able to hear the professors or the other students or when he is outside. Neil tries his best to reassure her, but she is concerned. He offers to help her get the rest of her bags and they leave. Lily tells Daniel about her idea to write notes in Devon's class until he gets his hearing back. Daniel says the doctors said Devon's hearing loss is serious and could be permanent. He has an idea and wants Lily to come with him, but she doesn't want to leave Devon alone. Daniel leaves without her saying he'll be back.

Sharon and Jack are talking. He says it must be nice to have the house back to herself. Sharon says she liked having Dru there; it was fun as they both needed a friend. Jack says he's a friend. He can move in. Sharon says nice try; he can visit. He likes the idea. Michael interrupts the conversation. Jack says Phyllis isn't back yet. Michael says he needs to talk to Jack in his office. Jack reluctantly leaves and Michael tells him about Katherine selling Jabot to the House of Kim. Jack is shocked and asks when? Michael says this morning. Jack asks why? Michael says Katherine is a businesswoman. Jack can't believe Katherine betrayed him this way. Michael confronts him about EFO International and what he did to Katherine.

Lily tells Devon she will be there for him. He appreciates her support and thanks her.

Dru and Neil come off the elevator with luggage in hand and she says she can't do this. She keeps blaming herself as she moved out and didn't get Devon vaccinated. Neil says it isn't her fault and they will get through this together. They have to be there for Devon.

Daniel meets Colleen and Billy at the coffeehouse. He explains about Lily wanting to take notes for Devon. Colleen says Lily would have to change her classes. Daniel agrees and that's where Billy and Colleen come in. They are more than willing to help and schedule times so they can take notes for Devon. Daniel is happy and leaves as does Billy to meet his mom at Jabot. Colleen's professor arrives and needs her to meet him in a half hour for a meeting. She says she can't as she has another commitment. He says it wasn't an option; she has to go.

Gloria is in Kevin's office when he comes in and says he needs to lock his door. Gloria tells him Katherine sold Jabot and they will most likely be out of jobs soon so he should get his things ready.

Billy is shocked when Jill tells him about the sale, but says he's fine. He's worried about Jack and Ashley and how they'll take it.

Katherine breaks the news to Ashley who is upset and worried how Jack will take it. Katherine tries to reassure her that the company is a very good company. Ashley is still upset.

Sharon sees Michael leave in a good mood and goes to see Jack. She knocks, Jack says go away. She comes in and asks what happened. He says Katherine has sold Jabot and he officially feels like a failure. Sharon says she is sorry and puts her hand on his shoulder.

Colleen's professor tells her not to come at all if she doesn't attend today. She says her best friend's brother had meningitis and almost died. He also lost his hearing and she was going to help take notes in his classes, but she says he can fire her if he wants and storms off.

Daniel and Lily tell Devon the good news, but Daniel also has some bad news. He spoke to one of Devon's professors who says he will have to drop music theory class because he can't hear. Dru and Neil say there has to be another way, but Daniel says there isn't, he tried. Lily breaks the news to Devon who is devastated.

Michael is happy, while Gloria is upset. Kevin says it isn't the end of the world and Michael says it was worth seeing the look on Jack's face. Seeing his reaction to being busted about EFO International and Raaz Cosmetics. Gloria wishes she could've seen his face. Michael says he rubbed it in good!

Billy tells Jack he's sorry as he knows how much Jack wanted Jabot.

Devon is upset and wants to be alone. Lily wants to check on him, but Neil says leave him alone. They all wish there was another way Devon could take his music class. She asks if it's normal for Devon to be okay one minute and upset the next. Neil says the doctors said Devon is grieving over the loss of his hearing, like when someone grieves for someone they love.

Colleen calls Billy, but gets his voicemail. She wants him to take Devon's class as she can't make it. Her professor says that won't be necessary as GCU allows students to help students with hearing disabilities take notes.

Ashley meets Jack at home. Both are upset about Jabot's sale. Jack says they have to look forward to the future.

Colleen buys a coffee for her professor thanking him for helping Devon. He says he hasn't done much, but Colleen still thanks him. He leaves and tells Colleen next time coffee is on him.

Neil receives something to help Devon with the telephone. Daniel offers to hook it up for him. Devon comes out and tells them he is grateful for all their help and he will drop music theory for American sign language. He says he won't let his hearing disability get the best of him. He sees the new package that arrived and asks what is it. Lily explains and he offers to help hook it up. Dru and Neil are happy to see Devon's positive attitude.

Ashley comes downstairs and sees Jack with champagne. He says they will make a toast to the CEO and new owner of Jabot. He says you're looking at him, Ashley is shocked!

Jack explains to Ashley how he purposely left clues for Kevin and Michael to find out he was the one behind Raaz Cosmetics. He wanted to keep them busy and at the same time be able to win over Jabot with House of Kim. Ashley is upset he didn't trust her enough to tell her, but he didn't want her to get her hands dirty too. She doesn't know if to slap him or hug him and is appalled by his deceit. But she's impressed by his plans. He says he did this for their father and hopes his father understands. Ashley is just happy to have Jabot back in the family. Jack warns her not to say a word to anyone as it could ruin everything.

Nick is at NE and bumps into his father. Victor wants to have dinner with his son, but Nick says Phyllis is coming back and wants to surprise her. Victor understands. Just as Nick leaves Phyllis gets off the other elevator. Victor greets her with a hug and welcomes her back. She came to NE to surprise Nick, but Victor says he just left to surprise her. She just missed him. Sharon overhears and says that's too bad.

Lauren returns and her romantic evening with Michael is ruined by Gloria and Kevin. They welcome Lauren home and Lauren says she's sorry about Jabot. Gloria complains. Michael doesn't want to hear it. He takes Kevin aside and gives him money to take Gloria out. Kevin gets the hint Michael wants to be alone with his wife and takes Gloria out. She also gets the hint.

Sharon is on her cell and Victor is behind her. He asks if she has plans for tonight. She says no so he asks her to join him for dinner and she does. As they leave Nick comes back looking for Phyllis. Victor says he told her that Nick went home. Nick says you were a big help. Phyllis comes back and meets with Nick. She says they've been playing musical elevators. Nick says Victor will be joining them for dinner, but Victor says he won't. He will have dinner with Sharon as he knows Nick and Phyllis want to be alone. Nick asks where Noah is. Sharon says he's in the break room with his friend doing homework and will be spending the night with his friend. Sharon and Victor leave as Phyllis and Nick go in an office and begin making out.

Jack tells Ashley about getting the money from Victor and having him believe it was invested in NVP. Ashley asks if Victor were to find out what would happen. Jack says he won't. He wants to take her out and celebrate.

Nick is with Noah and Phyllis comes back. She bought him a cowboy hat and a lasso. He loves it and thanks her. Nick says they shouldn't be long. Phyllis leaves to make some calls and tells Nick to call her when he's done. Noah says Phyllis is cool to buy him souvenirs.

Sharon and Victor arrive for dinner at the AC. She asks when Nikki is coming back. He says soon. Sharon says if he ever needs anything, just ask. Victor thanks her. Jack and Ashley walk in as everyone in the restaurant including, Gloria, Kevin, Sharon and Victor, look at them. Sharon asks Victor if he heard what happened with Jabot. He says he did.

Jack and Ashley realize they picked a bad place to celebrate as everyone looks on. Ashley wants to leave, but Jack says no. They will just have to look sad while they eat.

Noah's ride is there so he leaves. Nick makes a call to see if everything is set for the surprise engagement party on October 11. It is. Phyllis is in another room making plans for a surprise birthday party for Nick on October 11th too!

Kevin is surprised Jack and Ashley decided to eat out tonight. Gloria says they want sympathy. She sees Jill and Will walk in and Kevin notices his mother's reaction. He thought she liked Jill. She says she does, but feels "William" deserves better!

Jack sees Katherine walk in with "the new owner" of Jabot. Ashley asks if he planned this. Katherine walks over with Mr. Kim and asks if there are any hard feelings. Mr. Kim has heard a lot about Jack and says he will keep the Jabot name and do his best to keep the company a success. They leave.

Victor says that man is the new owner of Jabot. Sharon is shocked and says of all the people Jack and Ashley had to run into tonight. Victor notices her concern and says they can cut their evening short so she can go and give solace to Jack. Sharon is taken aback by Victor's words.

Lauren and Michael are in bed. Michael says he should send Gloria and Kevin away more often. Lauren says it is time Gloria got a place of her own. She loves her, but wants to be alone with Michael. He understands. They begin making out again when the phone rings. It's the New Orleans Coroner. They've identified a body as his grandmother. Lauren says she's sorry to hear it.

Victor and Sharon go over to Jack and Ashley to say they are sorry to hear about Jabot. Victor says he has an appointment and needs to get back to the office. Sharon will take a cab home. Victor says she can stay with Jack and Ashley, but Sharon says no, she doesn't want to impose. Ashley says she won't be and wants her to join them. Victor wants Jack to make sure Sharon gets home safely, he assures Victor she will. Victor hugs Sharon goodbye and leaves. Sharon says she needs to go to the ladies room and again tells Ashley she is sorry about Jabot. Ashley tells Jack she feels guilty having everyone feel bad for them.

Kevin tells Gloria he understands her enjoying Jack and Ashley suffering, but he knows she has the hots for William. She says she doesn't then leaves to go say hello. She overhears Katherine introduce Mr. Kim to Jill then interrupts introducing herself as John's widow. Mr. Kim looks to Jack and gives a nod. He apologizes to Gloria as he doesn't want to come off rude, but wants to discuss business with Katherine. He offers Katherine to come to his suite and continue without interruptions. Gloria wants Jill's help in convincing Mr. Kim she is good. Jill says she hasn't even got the chance to talk to him. Gloria says it was nice to see him and leaves. She expresses her upset at the way Mr. Kim brushed her off.

Nick and Phyllis make numerous attempts to be alone but keep getting interrupted. The last attempt is interrupted by Victor. They all feel bad for Jack. Nick understands as he doesn't know what he would do if it was Newman. Victor leaves for the night giving Nick and Phyllis time alone. They believe everyone has left for the night and lock the door. They kiss, but are interrupted by the cleaning man and then decide to go home.

Sharon apologizes for taking long. Ashley is getting ready to leave. Sharon feels awful saying she shouldn't have imposed. Ashley says she is just beat and it isn't Sharon's fault. She leaves. Jack tells Sharon to have a seat and orders a drink. A messenger arrives and gives Jack an envelope. He signs and the messenger leaves. Jack opens the envelope. It's an old newspaper article on John. A part is highlighted in which it talks about John's greatest love being his children. Victor attached a note saying Jack, on a day like today, it is important to remember that John's greatest love was his children not his company. Jack is touched. Sharon tells him they can get out of there and go back to her place.

Michael is sad, as is Lauren. He feels like he lost someone he was very close to. Lauren understands. There's a knock on the door. He hopes it isn't Kevin and Gloria. It's a messenger who delivers a gift for Lauren. Michael signs and gives the messenger a tip. Lauren opens the gift. It's a baby album. Michael says it isn't from him so Lauren looks for a card. When there isn't one she has flashbacks of Sheila and gets scared.

Sharon and Jack are at her place in her room. She says a day like today Jack shouldn't spend the night alone. They are on the bed and begin to kiss.

It's morning. Jack and Sharon are asleep in her bed. Jack turns to put his arm on Sharon and is so shocked to see his father in between them he falls off the bed! Sharon awakens to ask what's wrong. He says he had a bad dream. Sharon offers to help him forget but Jack sees his father again.

Nick is at NE and Phyllis walks in. She wonders what he's hiding as they begin to kiss. Phyllis says she's meeting Michael for breakfast and can't cancel then leaves.

Lauren calls Paul about her suspicions Sheila sent the package. Michael walks in and she tells him about the anonymous gift. He doesn't want her to worry about it. They talk about his grandmother as Gloria walks in. Michael tells Lauren not to say anything as she knows how Gloria hated them. Gloria says she not only has to prove herself to the new owner of Jabot, she has to prove herself to the public too. She shows the newspaper article of Jabot's sale.

Jack is getting dressed to go to the office. Sharon helps him button his shirt and says he can go in late as he's the boss. John keeps appearing in Jack's mind, talking about him taking advantage of Sharon, and how she'll react hearing Jack is the new owner of Jabot. He takes a rain check and leaves. John reappears outside the room.

Jack returns home where Ashley realizes he was with Sharon. John appears again in a chair. He expresses his disappointment in Jack bringing Ashley into his deception. Ashley wonders what her father would say about Jack being the new owner of Jabot. Jack says he would feel the same way they do. John says he's s not happy about the way Jack got Jabot back. Ashley talks about not feeling her father's presence since the funeral and asks Jack if he's felt John's presence. Jack says all the time as John looks on!

Sharon arrives at NE looking for Phyllis as she needs to go over stuff for NVP. Nick says she's out with Michael. Sharon is about to leave when Nick stops her to say he's throwing a surprise engagement party for Phyllis. Sharon tries to be brave, saying that's great, and asks if she should bring a gift. Both smile. Nick just didn't want her to hear from anyone else.

Phyllis and Michael are having breakfast at the AC. She tells him about the surprise party for Nick and not wanting anyone to know about it. She notices Michael's mood is off; he isn't gloating about Jack or anything. She takes the rest of his food. He confides in her about his grandmother's death and the unanswered questions he has.

Nick runs into Jack at NE and is sorry about Jabot. John is in the background continuing to haunt Jack. He says Sharon is helping him through it (answering both John and Nick).

Sharon is at the boutique buying a shirt for Nick's birthday for Noah's sake so that he'll know his parents still get along. Sharon admits she has a selfish motive, knowing Noah will be upset with her if she doesn't buy anything for Nick. Lauren asks if she'll take it and Sharon does. She also wants to buy something for Jack as a cheer up gift for losing Jabot. Sharon says she's not having a problem with her relationship with Jack. Lauren says she didn't say anything. Sharon knows and was thinking out loud. She knows many eyebrows are raised regarding her relationship with Jack, but she feels comfortable with Jack. He understands her.

Jack is on the elevator of NE and John continues to haunt him about Sharon. He asks if this is about revenge for Nick taking Phyllis away. Jack denies it. John says Sharon is not a fling or one night stand - she is Nick's wife! Jack yells she's his ex wife and leaves only to run into his father again!

Nick tells his father about running into Jack and him shoving his relationship with Sharon in Nick's face. Victor says perhaps there is a part of Jack he didn't know about. Nick says or he forgot about. He tells his father about informing Sharon about the engagement and seeing her expressions. Victor says Sharon will never be able to see Phyllis with Nick and it will be harder on her when Phyllis gives birth. Nick knows that and doesn't like seeing Sharon suffer like this knowing he caused it. Nick says he's looking forward to the new baby, but feels bad about what it's doing to Sharon. He says it's hard to love one person and cause such pain to another. Victor is happy he feels that way as it shows he isn't selfish.

Phyllis runs into Ashley at the AC. She's sorry about Jabot. Ashley appreciates it. Phyllis talks about the NVP-Jabot tie-in when Michael butts in and says Jack threatened to cut ties with Jabot. Phyllis asks Ashley if it's true and the reason they didn't send the projection reports she asked for. Ashley says possibly. Phyllis loses it! She leaves before she does anything she'll regret.

Jack is in his office when John appears in a more chilling avatar. He's in chains and has an icy look to him, kind of like the ghost of Christmas past. Jack says Christmas is months away and John isn't Marley's ghost. Later, Phyllis barges in. Jack at first thinks it's his father again, but realizes it's Phyllis. She's angry and confronts him about cutting Jabot-NVP tie-ins. He says when Kay sold Jabot he had second thoughts about it. Jack says if the House of Kim makes Jabot successful he has no problems with continuing the agreement. John is in the background answering back Jack's every word. Phyllis apologizes for getting angry and leaves. John claps for Jack convincing Phyllis.

Paul arrives at Lauren and Michael's place. He tells her Sheila didn't send this gift - he did! Lauren is relieved and Paul understands her worry. Michael walks in on Paul and Lauren's hug. She tells him about Sheila. He's upset she didn't say anything to him and went to Paul. Paul explains it was a false alarm. He sent the gift. He teases Michael and they all share a laugh.

Victor meets with Jack who thanks him for the article. Victor has Zapato with him and he keeps barking. Victor asks what's wrong as he behaves like there's someone else in the room. John says it's amazing Zapato pays more attention to him than his own son! Victor is surprised to see how well Jack is handling the situation with Jabot and the situation with Phyllis. Jack says Phyllis wasn't his as they weren't married at the time. Victor advises him against dating Sharon.

Sharon asks Jack if he's okay because she saw Phyllis barge in. He says she said what she had to and left. Sharon gives him a gift - cufflinks. Jack is touched and gives her a kiss. She says she has to get back to work and leaves. John says Jack is taking advantage of Sharon and it's wrong. He wants Jack to tells Sharon the truth. John says despite what Jack has done, he still loves him and hopes Jack does right now that he owns Jabot and to treat Gloria and Kevin right.

Gloria gets a call from Mr. Kim saying he received her email and looks forward to working with her. She's happy.

Sharon is in the break room getting some tea. Phyllis apologizes for cutting her off earlier; she had a lot of things to do, projections and she had to make an appointment with her OB/GYN. She keeps cutting Sharon off and finally Sharon has enough. She tells Phyllis to stop talking. Sharon talks about what a hit the NVP retreats are and the number of people who want to meet them. Phyllis says just let her know when they want to meet and she'll try to make time. Sharon talks about Phyllis blasting Jack and purposely blows Nick's surprise for Phyllis. Phyllis responds saying Sharon is doing this out of pity. Sharon responds saying Phyllis is the one who needed a DNA test proving her baby's father. Phyllis again says Sharon is doing this out of pity. Sharon denies it, saying she really doesn't care anymore about Phyllis. They argue some more and Phyllis leaves. Sharon looks upset as water fills her eyes.

Gloria visits Jack and tells her she had a good conversation with Mr. Kim. Jack tries his best to be nice to her as his father looks on. After Gloria leaves Jack says it was hard for him to do considering he doesn't like Gloria.

Victor is with Zapato and notices the dog looks like he's just seen a ghost. He confides in Zapato about concentrating too much on his physical condition. He now plans to concentrate on what Jack is doing! He is going to keep a close eye on him!
