Michael, Nick and
Phyllis speak about Sharon's testimony. Michael denies that he knew Sharon
would testify for Phyllis, while Nick knows Sharon wouldn't have spoken
badly of Phyllis with Noah around. Phyllis asks if this could help, Michael
says it could but they are not in the clear yet.
Noah asks Sharon if
he could use her cell as he wants to call Phyllis and make sure she's okay.
Jack says she is as she's with her family. Noah says he's her family too so
Jack and Sharon agree as she takes out her phone and says the number is on
speed dial. Noah calls and talks to Phyllis who says she's doing great then
asks to talk with Sharon. Phyllis thanks Sharon for doing what she did as
she knows it's more than she deserves. Show #8716 - Aug 28, 2007
Nikki, Brad, Nick,
Daniel, Sharon, Jack and Noah are in court for Phyllis' sentencing as the
judge explains to Phyllis what she has been charged with is a Class H felony
and the maximum sentence is six years. The judge says he has the authority
for the sentence to be less, but decides to give Phyllis six years in jail.
She's ordered to surrender to prison at 4pm tomorrow! Everyone is in shock,
except for Nikki who has a big grin on her face. Nick asks if there's
anything Michael can do and Michael excuses himself while Noah comes up to
Phyllis who tries to look brave as they hug and Sharon watches from a
distance. Sharon feels awful for Noah and wishes there was something she
could do. Brad says she could tell Noah that good people do bad things.
Sharon refers to their ONS, while Brad refers to Phyllis. Sharon says if
they didn't sleep together, perhaps this would not have happened. Brad gets
a call from Abby and has to leave while Sharon continues to watch a sad
Noah. Nikki tells Phyllis she wishes this didn't happen, but it did. Nikki talks about wanting to help Nick raise Summer, but Phyllis says Nick, Michael and Lauren will be there for her daughter. Nikki says they all have careers, they will need the help and Phyllis lashes out at Nikki saying she will not touch her daughter! Daniel stops them, but Phyllis says Nikki is an ugly human being while Nikki says her granddaughter is better off without Daniel and Phyllis! Phyllis hugs her son as Nikki walks off.
Michael is with
Lauren at the tack house feeling awful for not being able to do more for
Phyllis. Lauren tries to reassure him he did do all he could. When Phyllis
walks in with Nick and Daniel, Lauren tells her that Michael is going to do

she hopes that Jana's tumor is what caused her to do all those evil things.
Michael warns Amber
not to talk to anyone about the case unless he's present after learning that
she spoke to Heather earlier about testifying against Kevin and Daniel! Show #8718 - Aug 30, 2007 At the Ponderosa tackyroom, Nick, Phyllis and Daniel are having a BBQ and stuffing their faces with "the best burgers in the county". Nearby, a grumpy Noah is playing a video game, refusing to eat. When Phyllis suggests they kick a soccer ball around, Noah gets snippy and Nick takes the game away saying Noah's gonna turn into a videogame. Phyllis spouts off about becoming a great soccer/basketball player because she'll be spending a lot of time at the "prison" gym. Knock-knock. Victor drops by to say that Starfire the horse is having a "colt". Shouldn't that be a foal? Noah wants to go see, but doesn't need daddy holding his hand. When Nick grumbles about that, Victor reminds him of the time his son rejected him. Then, Victor presents Phyllis with some books to read while she's in the pokey. "One hundred years in solitude", to name one. Oh, oh. Summer seems to be ailing and so Phyllis puts the kid to bed. When Victor takes off, Jack arrives to say he put in a good word with the warden for her. She is, after all, a Newman, and the prison won't want the bad PR should something happen to her. Jack is also sure that Phyllis will win her freedom on appeal. While she's waiting for that to happen, Phyllis says she's gonna be "a model prisoner.' Then, right after Jack stood by her in court, when he put in a good word, she had the gall to ask how many ex-wives Jack has and however does he keep track of them all? As Jack starts to leave, Noah whines. He wants to go home with Jack! Phyllis is sad about this because, golly, just the other day Noah wanted only her. She and Nick raise their eyebrows, but in the end let Noah have his way. With Jack and Noah gone, Phyllis tells Nick that she's bookmarked the prison website on the computer for him. Going about cleaning the house, Phyllis comes across a photo of Daniel when he was a baby. She and Nick agree that he looks like Summer. From there it's on to Phyllis making Nick promise to document Summer's every move and then, for one last time, they have sex. Daniel had left long ago and calling Amber hooked up with her later at the Jitter Joint. He also ran into Sharon there who told him that if he ever needs anything she'll be there for him. And oh, could he please be there for Noah? The boy is having such a hard time dealing with this mess. As Daniel and Amber chat, Heather shows up to ask Amber if she's made a decision about the deal. Daniel is upset; why didn't he get a deal? Amber told Heather to buzz off and then looked at the hundred dollar bill Mr. Chee gave her. Punching the serial number into a computer, Daniel was able to track where the bill has been! Back at the Abbott home, Noah goes out to play with "Fisher" the dog giving Jack time to tell Sharon that the kid has been acting out. Gosh, Sharon just can't understand it. Could it be that his family is falling apart - again? When a phone call comes in from Victor, Jack quips, "Is the sky falling?" Well Jack, "It depends on where you're standing," Victor snorts, as he warns Mr. Chee is about to rock Jack's world. Jack isn't worried until Victor says he could lose his senate seat and takes off to pay Chee a visit. While Jack was gone, Sharon heard Fisher barking. Looking around, she found the pooch locked in the closet! Oh, the irony. Fisher-dog-locked-closet. Why did you do it Noah? Bad dog needed to learn a lesson so he locked Fisher in "jail." And did Sharon whip this kid's ass while giving him a lecture on animal abuse? Does Sharon refrain from having sex with strangers? The answer was no. At the Athletic Supporter, Katherine informed Jill that's she's looking for her replacement and reminded her again that Chee is a snake. Katherine doesn't want him to go public about the Jabot ownership issue, but Jill says it's going to happen. Going off to call Victor, Katherine was pissed. Why didn't he protect her? What does he know that she doesn't? Victor was mum. Meantime, Chee had arrived to tell Jill that he'll do whatever she wants. He can't bear the thought of being without her "passion." Pleased that he's toeing the line, Jill did tell Chee that by coming clean he risks ruining his reputation. Chee will risk it. Besides, didn't the value of Jabot stock triple after truth of the last scandal came out? Jill says it did. A clap of thunder as Jack swoops in. What are Jill and Chee up to? Don't they realize the hell that will break loose? Yup, they do, but they don't care. What you gonna do about it, Jack? Jack's gonna, ah, he's, well you'll find out. Nobody messes with Jack Abbott! Show #8719 - Aug 31, 2007 A new day at the Newman Ponderosa tackyhouse, Summer is sleeping and Phyllis asks Nick how he wants to spend her last hours of freedom. Up the stairs they go to have sex. When the deed is done, Nick goes down to get champagne and who should be there? Daniel came to give his mother a going away gift, a CD of her favorite music. Coming down in her robe, Phyllis is touched and starts to babble about what she can, and can't pack for her trip later to the Big House. On cue, Summer starts to cry. Nick sticks a thermometer in the baby and reports she has a "little fever". Not to worry, Dr. Logan has been summoned. As they wait, it's decided that Nick will take the baby to the hospital and Daniel will take Phyllis to the prison. But no, Phyllis says she won't leave so long as her baby is sick. Calling Baldwin, Phyllis says she needs an extension from the judge. Baldwin tells her to forget about it. Phyllis hangs up as Logan arrives. After a check of Summer, Logan says the kid is fine. But, if things get worse in the next 2 hours, bring her into the hospital. Lauren shows up to baby-sit minus Fen-Fen and Phyllis has a fit. Did Lauren know Summer is contagious? Is that why she didn't bring Fen? Baldwin arrives to say the judge won't budge and they seem to have Phyllis calmed down. But as they're all leaving, Phyllis goes back into the tackyroom and deadbolts the door - with Summer. In the big city, Victor is coming off the Newman Enterprises elevator with Zapato when he sees David who says Nikki is at any early breakfast meeting. At her meeting with Katherine, Nikki learns that Mr. Chee wants to go public and that it could ruin Katherine's company. Katherine says she wrote Jill out of her will because "of that scum." It dawns on Nikki too that she could lose Clear Springs and that Jack could lose his senate seat. The ladies agree: Chee needs to be stopped. Nikki goes to tell David that Chee is "going on national TV" and it's another fine mess. "Why is that your problem?" David wonders. Nikki explains and says that short of "hiring a hit man" she doesn't know what to do. David has an idea. Jack fesses up first! That way it'll look like the caught with his hand in the cookie jar politician found God and all will be forgiven. In fact, David says he'll handle Jack's PR. To that end David goes to tell Chee that "lots of people will get hurt" and wants Chee to work a deal. No deal, Chee says thirty seconds with David is more than he can stand. At the same time, but without knowing David is present, Katherine blows in to ask Chee, "What will it take to stop you?" and reminds him that he's starting to antagonize a lot of people. David scurries off to tell Nikki things didn't go well with Chee. Oh Lord, Nikki knew Victor was right; she's a failure. David says, no, no. Nikki is a "beautiful, sexy" woman and they swap spit before she asks for the key to his apartment. Meanwhile at the Jitter Joint, and before Daniel went to the Ponderosa, Amber wanted Daniel to help her find the stolen money which she knows Mr. Chee has. Too bad for Amber, Daniel has more important things to do, like saying good-bye to his mother. With Daniel gone, Carson appears as Amber is trying to reach Katherine on the phone. No luck, Amber hangs up as Carlson asks what's shaking. During some chit-chat, Carlson notices the $100 bill in her purse, accidentally on purpose knocks her phone off the table and when she's not looking takes the bill and splits. Amber tries calling Katherine again and Katherine answers this time to say she's a very busy woman on an "International" call. Please don't bother me. Before Katherine can hang up, Amber yelps that Chee stole the money! Katherine isn't interested. Telling Amber, "Do not call this number again", Katherine hangs up. Afterwards, Amber notices the money missing and catches up with Carson at the Athletic Supporter. She knows he took the bill and Carlson says he was hoping they could work together. Katherine pops in, takes Amber aside, and asks how she knows Chee has the money. Amber says she's working on it. When Amber goes back to her table, Carson tells her that if she wants to know more about Mr. Chee she should look in his room, which of course, because Chee is so rich, he's renting a hole in the wall at the AC. While all this was going on, Katherine had gone to tell Jill to give Chee a message. Lots of people will get hurt. Still later, Katherine tells Jill that she'll put her back in the will if she can convince Chee to back off. Flash to Victor and Jack together at Jack's office. Jack is on the phone ending a conversation. "Send this to the embassy", he says as Victor strolls in to say that he ran a background check on Jack's entire family. Oh? That's nice. Jack doesn't seem interested. Victor went back to find Nikki waiting. She wants to know what he's going to do about Jack's problem. Victor says he doesn't care. Nikki is confused, and says it doesn't make sense. "It doesn't have to make sense to you. Have a nice day," Victor snorts, dismissing her. Back at the AC, Chee is in his tiny room taking the bag of money out of the air vent when Jill knocks at the door. Suspicious as to why the door is locked, Jill calls out and Chee intimates that he's taking a pee. Rushing to hide the money, some of the bills fall near the bed, but he doesn't see before letting Jill in. Jill says maybe going public isn't such a good idea after all because, you know, lots of people could get hurt. As they swap spit, Chee sees the loose bills and tries to kick them under the bed.
