It's a new day
in Genoa City. At the tackyhouse Phyllis and Nick talk about how
they'll become fashion world experts. Nick says Jack is all "fired"
up, that dinner with the Abbotts last night was the most "stimulating"
he's had in a long time, that Jack is brilliant at business and he's
brilliant at everything else. Most of all, he's going to love working
with Phyllis again which Phyllis say will be "cool".
In Heather's office, Maggie notes she's looking better; more relaxed,
even as Heather complains that losing Victor's case was a hard pill to
swallow. Jill barges in demanding to know the status of the Ji Min
investigation, hopes Heather isn't dropping it, and wants Heather to
focus on Jack.
At the Abbott home, Noah is back. Jack says he missed seeing his dad
last night and that he and Sharon have something to tell him. Noah
groans just before Sharon says that Gloria and Jeffrey are moving in.
Noah knows of Gloria and says she gives him the creeps. He adds that
Jeff better be careful because didn't Gloria's last husband die? The
more he thinks about it, the more Noah wants to go live with Nick.
Gloria and Jeff are at the coffee shop talking about things they're
going to buy for their new home. Gloria mentions a moose head for the
living room wall, and Jeff says he wants a plasma TV and a sound
system for the den. Gloria adds that she's going to buy every tacky
thing possible as Jeff leaves at which point Kevin asks if she's
really looking forward to living "with that creep".
With Victor at the AC, DA Dennis says he's sorry to have
inconvenienced Victor by having him arrested and charged with murder.
Victor is pissed. His "good name" has been damaged, he's been publicly
humiliated, Heather is "utterly incompetent and he's considering a
civil suit unless Dennis issues a public apology and fires Heather.
Heather told Jill she's not convinced that Victor is innocent and Jill
can't believe what she's hearing.
Sharon agrees
it might be best for Noah to move in with Nick as Jack says he won't
allow Gloria to disrupt their family. He's going to make Gloria wish
the judge had never ruled in her favor.
Gloria can't wait to move in the "mansion" so that she can make Noah's
life miserable. Kevin is stunned. She'd take advantage of a little
kid? He forgot that she kept him locked in a closet? Kevin cautions
Gloria not to chase the Abbotts out of their home. She needs them to
witness Jeff trying to kill her.
Coming down the AC stairs with his bags, Jeff bumps into Jill who
can't believe that Jack would ever move out of that house. Jeff says
Jack isn't moving; they're sharing. This pleases Jill. She hopes
Gloria drives Jack "stark raving mad". Asking if she'd like to be
friends, and careful to say he's not hitting on her, Jill takes Jeff's
rain check as Gloria comes in and tells her too that she hopes they
make Jack's life miserable. Gloria laughs and then her eyes bug out
when Jill says that Jack could end up behind bars.
Changing her tune suddenly, Heather concludes that Jack may have been
the last to see Ji Min and that he had motive. Maggie talks about the
possibility of getting a search warrant when Dennis comes in to say
that Heather is off the case. As he leaves, Maggie promises Heather
that she'll keep working on the case and Heather has a flashback to
what Victor told her before she leaves too.
Nikki is going over financial reports at Jabot when Jill comes by to
see how things are going. Nikki is excited; the job is just what she
needed to stay focused and says she'll be hiring a team to work with
her.
Phyllis and Nick are rambling on about their good fortune when Sharon
shows up.
Now at the AC bar drinking like a fish, Heather is told by Victor that
she can redeem herself by nailing Jack - in a legal way.
When Noah wants to know why Jack is letting Gloria live there, Jack
has a flashback to when Gloria told him the house was hers and that
she was moving in. As Jack say a judge ordered it, Noah wants to know
if Jack plans to drive Gloria out and if he needs some ideas, Noah has
a few. Jack scolded Noah; he's supposed to be the well-adjusted,
well-mannered child. Suddenly there's a knock at the door. Gloria is
yelling that she doesn't have her key yet and she's so happy to be
there.
Sharon wanted to know if Noah can move in with Nick as though Nick
would say no. Sharon told Nick that she and Jack are "a team" and that
Gloria is in for the fight of her life. Noting that the "boarders from
Hell" will be there soon, Sharon says she needs to get back. But
before she leaves, Phyllis lets her know that the four of them are
going to be doing great things together.
David is at
the AC coming down with his bags when Victor pins him. Don't even
think about moving onto his property. David says he and Nikki will be
looking for a place of their own. "The slums of Tijuana", Victor
recommends.
How she knows the professor isn't clear, but a still drinking Heather
tells him what a bad day she's having and how great she is. The
professor hopes he never has to find out how great.
David went to Jabot a bit bummed that he and Nikki won't be starting
their own company. Nikki has a consolation gift for him. Would he like
to be Jabot's COO?
Back at the AC where Colleen is waiting tables, Paul, Maggie and the
professor talk about books they've read. Paul says he's a great fan of
detective fiction and the professor suggests they start their own book
club.
Nick and Phyllis are talking about needing some hot models for their
new venture, and Phyllis mentions that Daniel is in Madison talking to
some of the top photographers when Nikki shows up to say she's the new
CEO at Jabot, that David will be working with her, and she wants Nick
to work for her too.
Gloria is directing where her junk will go inside the house as Jack
tells Sharon that Noah has locked himself in his room. Jeff comes in
with champagne and suggests they all have a toast as soon as the
portrait has been hung. Portrait? Kevin hauls it in. A portrait of
Gloria!
Seeing that Heather is about three sheets to the wind, Paul offers her
a ride home. She wants to go back to the office. Saying he's no Sam
Spade, Paul tells Heather he is a good investigator and offers to go
over the files with her as Colleen remarks to the professor that
Heather has a "buzz" going, and the professor explains that Heather
just lost a big case.
Nick drops the bomb that he and Jack will be working together, but
that he can't tell Nikki what they'll be doing because it's a "secret"
and "complicated". Before Nikki leaves, Phyllis says she's the "shot
in the arm" Jabot needs.
Victor made his way to the mausoleum expecting to see Katherine, but
got Jill instead. He said for Jill to pass the word that Nikki is not
qualified to run Jabot, but Jill said Nikki will make Jabot "proud".
"Don't say I didn't warn you. Have a nice day," Victor grunted on his
way out.
At the AC with Nikki, David says he's surprised Nick turned her down
when a Walter Pailin comes along. Long time no see! After a brief
introduction, Walter leaves. Nikki said he seemed interesting, but
David said not all that interesting. Still, Nikki thinks perhaps
Walter can tell her more about David than David has.
Gloria and Jack argue over her junk. He swears the house with never be
hers no matter how much gaudy stuff she brings into it and that he
will do all it takes to put her back on the street.
At the Abbott
home, Gloria is sputtering to Kevin that it's her home and she's going
to get rid of Jack and Sharon. Kevin reminds her that the plan must be
fool proof and to work she needs to keep Jack and Sharon there.
Paul finds Heather sleeping in her office. Waking up, she pops some
pills and says that as a PI, Paul should know it looks bad to lose a
case. He retorts that she should look at being demoted as a learning
experience and move on. So who's her latest suspect? Heather says
Jack. He had a reason to murder Ji Min. Well, that's it then, says
Paul. All she has to do is follow the motive.
Daniel is back from Madison and at the coffee shop tells Amber the
trip was a bust. When he wants to know more about what happened to
Amber during the contest, she says she was an "idiot", and gives him
the details as Phyllis comes in to tell Daniel she has a potential job
for him.
Minus Sharon, Jack and Nick are at the AC talking about their new
venture which Nick says will be a fashion magazine both in print and
on-line. Jack complains about his first night with Gloria in the house
and says if things get really bad he'll take Nick up on his offer to
let Noah live at the ranch.
With a business plan in hand, Neil talks to Victor about Brad being
the point man on a new project. When Victor moans that Brad has been
sniffing around for Nick's old job, Neil says, "Brad is no Nick."
Victor agrees though he says Brad does good work. But when Neil says
he'll be hard pressed to find a replacement for his "boy", Victor says
that if Nick wants to come back, he'll have to come to his father
first.
"You feel betrayed," Neil goes on to which Victor says a father hopes
that his son will stand by him. "He had everything a man could want
[but] too many things have happened; Nick was never close to me."
Nick is fired up about the magazine. "I know business and design and
marketing," he brags, as Jack worries that he's trying to get back at
Victor when just the other day it was Jack urging Nick to get back at
Victor and Nick not wanting to. And in case Nick didn't hear him, Jack
says that Victor will see Nick being out on his own as a "personal
betrayal."
Heather told Paul that all along Victor had said Jack framed him and
therefore she's ready to move on Jack. Paul told her not to believe
Victor because he's always hated Jack. Paul says that "as an
experienced PI" he's telling her to take more time; don't rush.
Heather won't listen, and she calls Dennis.
Gloria wants the dog out of the house too. Fisher makes a mess. If
Jeff likes the dog so much he can feed and clean up after it. Jeff
notes that Gloria always seems to be plotting; he doesn't like that
they are sleeping in separate bedrooms and worries what the Abbotts
think if they find out. He too doesn't like sharing the house as
Gloria says she ain't leaving no matter what. When Jeff pushes her to
find a way to get rid of the Abbotts, Gloria says she'll make them
crazy and makes a call to get things in motion.
Now at the coffee shop, Paul is telling Maggie that Heather is letting
him into her life. Maggie agrees it's happening as she gets a call
from Dennis. Meantime, Heather is being told by Dennis that she's not
getting the Ji Min case back.
Phyllis told Daniel about the magazine being about lifestyle and she
wants to find a place for him on it. But he's got to do something
about his hair. He refuses as Phyllis leaves.
Moments later a reporter and a photographer are at the Abbott home to
write a lifestyle piece on Gloria's return to the mansion.
Amber is excited for Daniel. She sees it as a great opportunity and
maybe he could put in a good word for her too? Daniel says he will as
he leaves and Amber tells Jana what could be happening as Heather
comes in to tell Paul that things didn't go so good with Dennis.
Saying he admires her, Paul learns too that Dennis has put Maggie to
work on getting Jack.
Having figured
out their client base, Nick rambles on about the magazine as Jack
grumbles about Gloria and Phyllis arrives to say Daniel will help on
the mag. To celebrate, Jack orders champagne and notes that a few
hours ago they were "restless" and now they are fashion experts.
They're about to toast when Victor comes in, stops by their table, and
asks what the occasion is. Learning of the magazine, Victor snorts
that magazines don't make money; especially on-line magazines. "Ours
will be the first!" Nick counters, and when Jack offers Victor some
champagne he declines saying he particularly doesn't want their
champagne and leaves.
As Gloria shows her around, the reporter asks if she'll be throwing
formal dinner parties. Oh heavens no! It's not Gloria's style. Jeff
points out that Genoa City "will never be the same" now that Gloria
has the mansion, and directing the reporter to a candlestick holder,
Gloria wants a photo taken off it which she says she spent a fortune
on.
Observing Daniel with Heather, Amber whines to Jana that he's showing
too much interest in her.
Jack is shocked when he comes home. When Jeff escorts the reporter and
photographer outside to see the grounds, Jack asks how dare Gloria
bring the press into their personal war. Why, one word from him and
Gloria's fantasy will turn into a scandal.
Concerned that Heather is so depressed, Daniel suggests to an agreeing
Kevin and the girls that they throw a party for her. Heather says it's
not necessary, but she'll be there with bells on.
Gloria warns Jack he better keep quiet, or she'll have a few things to
tell the press. Jack insists the house is his and doesn't like that
Gloria has turned it into "the mansion from Hell". He goes on to say
that Gloria will never force him out because he's "smarter" than her.
When Jeff comes back with the reporter, Jack gives her a book on
Abbott history. She can keep it. When the reporter asked if a judge
ordered him to share the house, Jack said it was his father's request
that Gloria have the house.
Back home, Nick is grumpy. He let Victor get to him. Phyllis said it
doesn't matter what Victor thinks because she and Nick are going to be
successful. Meanwhile, Victor is telling Neil that the subject of Nick
is closed. Nick won't be coming back. The phone rings. It's Hope!
Something has happened. Victor will be in Kansas ASAP!
Phyllis is worried. Nick isn't hungry. He's never not hungry. The
phone rings. It's J.T. calling from the main house to say Victoria has
taken two steps on her own and that the wedding will be held this
weekend!
Still answering questions, Jack is stunned when Maggie arrives with a
search warrant!
At the ranch,
J.T walks into Victoria's bedroom with her first wedding gift which is
actually a blue tuxedo for Reed. As J.T. says their wedding, moved up
from the weekend to tomorrow, will be "classy", Victoria says it'll be
"perfect."
In his office thinking, Victor's phone is ringing. It's Victoria
calling to say the wedding is on for tomorrow and asking if Victor is
having second thoughts because he sounds so distant. Victor says he's
got other things on his mind before Victoria adds that she's got a
favor to ask which can only be asked in person.
Downstairs of the main house, Nikki is on the phone checking on the
wedding dress. Yes, it will be ready on time. David is with her when
Nick and Phyllis come in to say that if Noah is going to be a part of
the wedding, and he is, Sharon needs to be invited too. Nikki agrees,
but if Jack comes with Sharon that would pose a problem.
The mausoleum
finds Katherine's doctor checking her BP and saying she's okay so long
as she doesn't plan to go out dancing. Cane enters the scene and
questions why the doctor is there. Katherine says she's having a
routine checkup as the doctor leaves and Amber arrives. Cane objects
to her being there, but Katherine says she invited Amber. Regardless,
Cane wants to know why the sudden friendship.
As Maggie leaves the Abbott home, Sharon arrives. Jack says the cops
shook the place down, but didn't find anything. Jeff appears with
Gloria who says that doesn't mean Jack didn't kill Ji Min.
Katherine told Cane to stop badgering Amber and to accept her
friendship. Cane says he's only trying to protect his grandmother and
Amber says she'd never hurt the family and shouldn't Cane be at work?
Yes, he should, and so he leaves.
At Jabot, Jill introduces Lily to her new personal fashion
coordinator, Chloe. Lily sputters about how Dru gave her lots of tips
about modeling.
Concerned that the police search may have adversely affected Noah,
Sharon says Noah told her that he thought it was "cool" to have cops
tossing the place, and asks Jack if there's anything she should worry
about. When he says no, Sharon says that if Victor was behind the
search Jack could get railroaded.
Meantime, Victor is on the phone checking on Hope. Neil comes in to
ask if he needs help. He doesn't and says he'll be heading out to the
ranch.
Praising Amber
for "standing up" to Cane, Katherine says she didn't have another of
her attacks, as Amber put it, and goes on to talk about the book she's
writing. Chapter One? - I AM BORN - After Katherine reads a
short line from the book, Amber asks, "You wrote that?"
It was at the coffee shop that Paul learned of the wedding from J.T.
"You been through so much you didn't want to wait," Paul guesses at
the sudden urgency making a note to send a wedding gift. Only J.T.
wants more. Will Paul be the best man?
Nick and Phyllis stopped by to see Victoria who asked that Phyllis be
her maid of honor. Victoria is aware she wasn't supportive of Nick and
Phyllis' wedding, but... "I'm touched; very moved," Phyllis says as
she agrees.
Giving Gloria the evil eye, Noah wants to know why she just doesn't
leave. Gloria tries to explain that John wanted her to live there, but
Noah says John's dead. Sharon storms in to tell Gloria to leave Noah
alone or she'll go to a judge and get a restraining order. "Don't be
such a drama queen. Move out!" Gloria spat back at a refusing to go
anywhere Sharon.
Saying she's
been around fashion most of her life, Lily and Chloe compare notes as
Cane comes in, is introduced to Chloe and says he'll catch up with
Lily later at the coffee shop.
Now at the
tacky house, Noah warns Sharon that Gloria is an evil woman. Sharon
knows. Gloria is "the wicked witch of the Mid-West." She informs Nick
that the cops trashed the place; Nick says Jack's not a killer and
then asks what Sharon thinks. All Sharon knows is that she'd like to
pack her family up and move to Miami.
With Maggie at the coffee shop now, Paul can tell something is
bothering her. Maggie says nothing was found at the Abbott home and
now she's not so sure Jack is who she should be investigating.
Before getting
on the elevator, Victor runs into Jack who grumbles that it's thanks
to Victor that the cops searched his home and Victor arranged it
because he's jealous of Jack's relationship with Nick. "My son can
make any mistake he wants. Now get out of the building", Victor
grunted as he got on the elevator.
Katherine and Amber are still talking about mostly nothing as are
Chloe and Lily who have moved to the coffee shop. Chloe says she's
been a fashion junkie all her life and wants to know who the hunky guy
is because she knows "sexual energy" when she sees it. Just then Neil
comes in, meets Chloe who says she knew of Dru, and when Cane arrives
Neil takes off.
Jack came home for another encounter with Gloria who said that when
Jack goes to prison she's going to have the place redecorated and then
for sure Sharon will leave. Aside with Sharon, Jack remarks he's
starting to think Gloria wants him locked up more than Victor does.
Worried that Gloria will be at the wedding, Noah says she "creeps me
out" as Phyllis and Nick assure him she won't be at the wedding.
Back at the Abbott home, Gloria and Jeff are listening to a very loud
Korean Opera which drives Jack and Sharon batty.
With Victor at her bedside, Victor says she's really really happy and
wants Victor to promise that he'll be on his best behavior at the
wedding because Nick will there and Jack could be too. Victor promises
and when he's gone Victoria tells the baby "we're going to be a
family. I'm marrying the man I love." Then, trying to get out of bed,
she falls and slumps to the floor.
That's it!
Jack has had it. He and Sharon are moving to the AC where they will
plan a counter-attack. Informing Gloria of same, she knows better.
Jack will be back.
Alone with Cane, Lily tells him that Neil will have to deal with her
falling in love. Meanwhile, with Amber off getting tea, Katherine fell
asleep on the sofa. Amber returns, covers her up, and leaves.
J.T. found Victoria; helped her back in bed and she whined about not
being able to walk down the aisle. Oh, but she will walk, says J.T.
Now at the coffee shop too, David suggests to Nikki that a
double-wedding would send Victor through the roof. Poor Victor; Nikki
says he's painted himself into a very lonely corner.
Victor is in his office having a flashback to when Nick quit/was fired
when Neil Comes in to learn that Victor wants him to have Nick's old
co-CEO job. There's a catch. Neil will have to share the title with
Victoria who will regain the title as soon as she's better. Neil
accepts with "honor and gratitude" as Victor prepares to leave. "Going
somewhere?" Neil asked. "Maybe", Victor retorted, adding he has great
confidence in Neil. Outside, Victor makes a call. Have the jet on
stand-by. As soon as the wedding is over he's leaving town.
The bells are
ringing for J.T. and his gal. At the tacky house, Nick is telling Noah
that he looks "cool". Noah wants to know why grandpa Victor is mad at
dad. "You noticed?" Nick quips. "Who hasn't?" Noah replies, as Nick
gives an analogy to parents upset with their children and quickly
changes the subject to Phyllis looking "amazing" and he's not letting
anything ruin this day. Phyllis agrees that today anyway, they are one
big happy family.
In Victoria's bedroom, Nikki is saying she has plenty of time although
the wedding will start in two hours. "It's all about family", Victoria
notes as a woman performs last minute alterations on the wedding gown,
and Nikki asks who would have thought that after all Victoria has been
though, she'd be getting married. "I'll do anything to make him
happy," Victoria says of J.T.
Downstairs, a crew is arranging chairs and flowers. Victor is thanking
J.T. for making his daughter happy, and J.T. says he's "a lucky man"
on cloud nine. Impressed with his future son-in-law, Victors reminds
J.T. that he's a member of the family now and that he expects loyalty.
In town at the coffee shop, Jack is talking about how to end the
Gloria nightmare and telling Sharon that nothing will come of the
police investigation. Sharon hopes he's right; she doesn't want the
D.A. coming after him. Moments later, dressed for a wedding, Paul
comes in and without being seen, listens in on Jack and Sharon's
conversation.
At their new home, Jeff informs Gloria that he's investing a half
million of her dollars in a G5 Gulfstream private jet!
After Victor
speaks in French to one of the crew, Nikki sputters about Victoria
starting a new life and how they tried to have a good life too. Alas,
she recalls the good times. Funny, Victor can't remember many good
times, and when David comes over, he moves on.
Upstairs, J.T.
says he can't wait to see the baby dressed in a tux. Victoria wonders
if the music is ready. Oh yeah, J.T. says he's got all her favorite
tunes, and a gift! It's a charm bracelet. The little birds charm
represents them and the little shoe charm represents the babies
they'll be having.
Sharon suggested that they go looking for some property; a home. Jack
won't hear of it. They have a home and by golly he's going to get it
back. As a matter of fact, Jack calls someone to see how the appeal is
going and says he wants the judge's mind changed. Along comes Michael
to say that Jack is guilty of murder, has been all along, and it makes
Michael happy to see Jack so miserable.
Talking to a picture of John, Gloria says she's protecting her family,
doesn't love Jeff, and will always love John. When Kevin arrives, she
tells him that Jeff is draining her bank account. Speak of the Devil,
Jeff comes in from jogging, has a few kinds words, and goes off to
take a shower. "He really could be in love with you," Kevin notes.
"Bite your tongue!" Gloria sneers.
Telling Victoria the time has come to get ready, Nikki remarks it's a
"miracle" that she's getting married.
Downstairs, Victor is on the phone mumbling about sending a package
presumably to Kansas and says something about a top doctor at the Mayo
Clinic.
When Noah, Phyllis and Nick arrive, Nick asks J.T. if he got the
welcome to the family speech as an uninvited Brad strolls in to ask
what's going on. A wedding? So soon? Also arriving, Katherine who
Victor walks right past barely acknowledging her, or Brad.
Amber comes over to hint that she might be of service to Jack and
Sharon's new fashion magazine/Internet service. At the same time Paul
is on the phone to Heather. Jack seems to be under a great deal of
stress, and he thought Heather should know.
Jack tells Sharon that Amber used to be a designer at Forrester
Creations and has Amber show off her sketches. After looking them
over, Sharon says the designs are "zany" and she's not impressed.
After Kevin
tells Gloria that Jeff will try to kill her soon, and that she should
start taking the poison, Gloria says, "Let the poisoning begin", but
worries Kevin might give her an overdose.
In a corner of
the dining room, Noah is on the phone with - Abby! He wants her to
help him find a way to get rid of the wicked witch. At first, Abby
thinks he's talking about a real witch; like the gingerbread house
witch. No, no! Noah says the witch he wants to get rid of is human.
After Jack told Amber they'll get back to her, Sharon remembered
that she's working on the Abbott Foundation project and left some
important documents at the house. She wants to go alone to get them,
but Jack says he'll go with her.
As she's putting poison in her water, Kevin screams at Gloria that
Jeff bought a plasma TV. "He's spending my inheritance!" Just then
Michael appears, gripes that Gloria has driven Jack and Sharon out,
and wants to know what Gloria is up to. If she doesn't tell, Michael
threatens to turn Jeff into the cops and Gloria will have to pray
she won't be in an adjoining cell. Then he spots the poison.
Mingling, Nick tells Katherine that Victor "has lots of reasons to
be sad." J.T. told Brad that he's welcomed to stay, and it looks
like he will. Paul arrives and J.T. tells him that Victor gave him
the "godfather" speech.
Victoria has the dress on as Katherine walks in with a gift. It's
the ring Phillip gave her on their wedding. It is, as Katherine
says, something borrowed and something blue.
"We have rats," Kevin says of the reason they have poison. Michael
knows better even if Gloria says he's crazy if he thinks she'd kill
Jeff. Michael's phone rings. Urgent business, so he must be going,
but not before telling Gloria that her plans always backfire. Giving
Gloria the poison, Kevin leaves Gloria alone to look at her wedding
photo with John. "What am I going to do?" she wonders.
All dressed up, Victor tells Nikki and Katherine he wants to be
alone with Victoria and then says how beautiful, so radiant she is,
and that he'll always love her.
With Paul putting flowers in J.T.'s lapel, Nick groans that Victor
isn't talking to him and welcomes J.T. to the family. Meanwhile,
Nikki tells Katherine that Victor is a "very complicated man".
The poison on a serving tray, Gloria puts a drop in her cup. Seconds
later she's screaming at Jeff for spending so much money and he
screams back that he's been going easy on her and that he's sick of
her attitude. As Gloria screams, "I hate you!" Jack appears. "Well,
well. What do we have here? Trouble in paradise?"
Rejected, Amber complains to a back at the coffee shop Kevin. He
looks at her sketches, says she has lots of potential, and that he'd
buy a dress like one in the sketches for Jana so long as it came in
black.
The candles are lit. The piano is playing. The preacher is ready.
Paul and J.T. are standing near the alter with a ring-bearing Noah
and maid of honor Phyllis nearby as the wedding gets underway. And
there, in all her radiant glory, Victoria is ready to come down the
aisle with Victor.
The wedding is
in full swing and down the aisle a shaky Victoria comes with Victor as
she's offered up to God who the preacher says they are gathered
before. And there in the audience, Brad is looking on.
At Kevin's crash pad, Amber and Daniel are getting ready for their
great make Heather feel better party.
Back at the wedding, the preacher says they will dispense with
traditional vows and instead J.T. and Victoria will exchange personal
vows consisting of nonsensical mumbo-jumbo. Hark! It's Colleen and the
Professor arriving at the last minute. "Not too long ago people were
wondering if you'd wake up," J.T. begins, throwing out too that it's a
"miracle", something about the lattes he's given her, and a promise
that he'll be the best husband and father Victoria has ever had. He
thanks God for bringing Victoria into his life and swears he will
honor her forever.
Victoria says she'll cherish every gift J.T. has given her, including
the lattes, and then bawling adds that she'll be J.T.'s forever until
the day she dies.
"Do you take this woman?" the preacher asks. J.T. does. "Do you take
this man?" Victoria does. Noah presents the rings. Slipping one on her
finger, J.T. says it's a symbol of his love. Victoria thanks J.T. for
making her dream come true and the preacher pronounces them man and
wife. "You may kiss the bride." Everyone smiles, except Brad as
Victoria goes over to snatch the baby away from Nikki.
During the reception, Victor tells Victoria that she's the most
beautiful bride he's ever seen, and then informs J.T. that he's the
man whom he expects to take good care of his daughter. Sitting next to
Victoria, a crying Nikki thinks back to when Victoria was "asleep".
Once David passed out the champagne, they all toast with Nick and
Phyllis hoping that the newlyweds will live long and prosper.
Whoever they are, Lindsey and Mitch have joined the make Heather feel
better party along with Kevin and Jana. There's a loud knock on the
door and in walks Heather as Amber breaks out the karaoke machine.
Looking around, Heather says, "It's been a long time since I've been
to a party like this."
The Professor and Colleen congratulate the newlyweds and thank them
for asking that they share this special day. Getting Victoria alone,
Brad says, "I felt like I needed to be here," and Victoria thanks him
for being so "gracious".
Victor is on the phone when Nikki pokes her nose in. Closing the
phone, Victor walks away leaving Nikki to tell David that she's
worried about Victor. "Maybe he realizes what he lost in you," David
submits.
Later, when Katherine asks if she spoke with Victor, Nikki says he
wouldn't talk to her.
With J.T., Paul asks what's next; a honeymoon? Heavens no! Victoria
isn't up for a honeymoon. Maybe when she's stronger. Besides, J.T.
starts work tomorrow at Newman Enterprises!
Back at the party, the doorbell is ringing. It's Colleen and the
Professor and Amber is becoming extremely obnoxious with her
screeching. First up to sing along, Colleen gives it a whirl and she's
terrible. Off-key and squeaky, she sounds like an eight-year-old.
Next, the gang want Heather to sing. She says she can't. The gang
chants; "Heather! Heather! Heather!
"I said no!" Heather bellows, thus pooping on the party.
Back at the reception, who should show up? Sharon! And she's there for
the purpose of what? To pick Noah up! What? Isn't Noah staying with
Nick and Phyllis? He is, but Sharon needs to put Noah to bed. But
first she says hello to Victoria, runs into Brad, says it's nice that
he came to his ex-wife's wedding, and cuts the awkward conversation
short.
This time out in the cold, Victor is on the phone again mumbling
something about going tonight when Katherine comes out to demand he
tell her what's wrong.
Back at the
party, the Professor asks Heather if she's okay and says he too feels
like a fish out of water.
The cake, chocolate with white frosting, is cut. Still outside, Victor
informs Katherine that Hope is dying of pancreatic cancer. When
Katherine asks where Victor Jr. is, Victor says he doesn't know.
When Brad and Paul bump into each other, Brad inquires as to what he
knows about the investigation of Jack. All Paul knows is that the case
has been re-opened. Brad says they got the right guy this time. Jack
is guilty and Brad knows that he hated Ji Min. Within earshot, Sharon
hears this.
Jana's turn at singing is ending as Heather says she's getting tired.
Then it's Amber's turn to sing and no American Idol winner, she moans
a somewhat long tune followed by much applause and kudos that she is
truly "awesome" and has much talent. Saying she must be going, Heather
does just that.
As Victoria puts the baby down, Victor comes in to say he's going
away, for Victoria not to worry, and sorry, he can't tell her why.
The reception over, Paul is about to take Katherine home when she
remembers nobody threw the bouquet. And so it was, and so Nikki caught
it as J.T. carried Victoria away.
Alone now, Daniel tells Amber that she was "awesome" and "hot". Oh,
she's hot alright. She kisses Daniel. He pulls away, asks what they
are doing, and then the clothes come off.
When Phyllis and Nick returned to the tackyhouse, Sharon had already
put Noah to bed. From the moment the wedding started until the day
ended, there was no mention of Summer. There was Sharon whining about
having to live with Gloria and that the cops are looking at Jack, but
Nick says it'll all blow over soon and Sharon leaves.
Candles are lit in Victoria's bedroom. She's so happy as J.T. puts her
on the bed.
Downstairs, Nikki tells David what a wonderful day it's been. He
suggests they start planning a wedding of their own, she agrees, and
as they kiss Victor walks by carrying his bags and not saying a word.
