It's getting
late in Genoa City. At Newman Enterprises, Victoria is telling J.T.
that she's Victor's daughter; she's the co-CEO of his company; why
then wouldn't Victor tell her he was going out of town? And Adam, the
guy is still a pain in the... oh there he is now with news that the
Newman jet has landed.
Barking orders over the phone, David comes in to applaud Nikki. She is
the Nikki Newman of Jabot. So lets get married; set a date. Nikki
can't do it; it's too soon. She wants David to prove to her first that
he's stopped gambling. She knows how addiction is. Stressors like
marriage cause addicts to relapse. As for second thoughts, Nikki says
she's not having any where David is concerned.
The Korean woman is screaming at the Abbott home door. Jeff pushes her
outside as a stunned Gloria looks on.
Still at the mausoleum, Lily keeps saying how tired she is and can't
understand why. She's only drinking coffee by the gallon. Cane wants
her to see a doctor. Can't do that, Lily says she doesn't have time.
She needs rest. So what about the possibility she's pregnant? Lily
told Cane there's not a chance. They were careful when they had sex.
They used protection. "Yeah, we used protection," Cane echoes, but
notes that nothing is one-hundred percent. Well, it's a little late
for that, Lily says as Cane keeps pushing her to see a doctor so that
they can rule pregnancy out.
Telling Gloria that the Korean is in the car and that he's taking her
to a hotel, Gloria screams at him to get the honeymoon suite for his
girlfriend. She also questions why the girlfriend showed up now, of
all times, and orders Jeff to get out too. Jeff thinks she's jealous
and again Gloria screams for him to get out. "You sound just like a
wife; one who is in love," Jeff adds and again she screams for him to
get out and don't come back - ever! Jeff leaves laughing.
On the phone with Sabrina, Victoria learns that Victor may be thinking
of buying art from her for his collection. She asks that Sabrina call
her from New York and following the call J.T. says he thinks Sabrina
is Victor's art consultant and wonders what he must be paying her.
Just then Victor gets off the elevator. Spotting him first, Adam says,
"Welcome back, Sir," and wants to brag about what a busy beaver he's
been. Victor says he can tell him later. For now he needs to speak
with Victoria, and Adam appears to be hurt.
Lily isn't ready to be a mommy. There is no baby! She's only twenty!
Whatever happens, Cane says he'll always be there for her. Lily
suggests it might be time to buy a pregnancy test kit.
With Victor in his office, Victoria tells of speaking with Sabrina and
his possibly hiring Sabrina to help start his contemporary art
collection. Victor says it's very possible. Still, Victoria worries
that daddy is having trouble keeping his mind off the divorce and
other problems. Victor says that's not it. He's moving on.
Now at the AC,
the girl is asking Jeff how he can be with that woman when he can have
her? Jeff replies it's over between them and he's taking her to the
airport. But the girl says she's not going anywhere.
Where to buy a pregnancy test so late at night? That's Lily's dilemma
when most all the stores are open. Cane's phone rings. It's Nikki
calling. Did he forget? There are people arriving from California on
their way to Milan and they want to meet with Cane. Damn the luck,
Cane says he'll call Nikki back.
Victor wants to know how Victoria and Adam are getting along. "The
jury is still out," she says, as Victor goes on to say he and Adam
talked about Hope and that Victoria needs to be patient with Adam
because he didn't know his father or that he has siblings. Just then
in comes J.T. pushing the baby buggy. After some look at the pretty
baby remarks about a baby that can't be seen, J.T. leaves with little
mention about the security breach.
But then Victor wants to know if Victoria thinks Adam is the hacker.
She says no; but she won't say who is, or anything more about the
breach other than that it has been handled. Still, Victor wants a full
report on his desk in the morning as Nikki comes in.
Returning home, Lily wonders why Devon isn't at class. His professor
has the mumps, and he can see Lily looks terrible. She's working day
and night and she can't handle it. Wrong! Lily says she can handle it.
She's stressed is all. As Devon recommends she see a doctor, Lily
looks like she's going to barf and runs off to the bathroom dropping
her purse. Picking it up, Devon sees the pregnancy kit.
Gloria ran over to the coffee shop to tell Jana what happened. She and
Jeff were "going at it" right there in the living room when his
girlfriend showed up. Gloria is thankful, however. The girlfriend
saved her from making the biggest mistake of her life.
Also at the coffee shop, as Brad observes from afar, David's bookie,
Andy, attempts to get David to place a bet.
Appearing at the AC too, Victoria meets with Nikki who earlier didn't
get anything out of Victor except that he was out of town and a bad
look. Nikki probed for information about Sabrina and whether she was
with Victor in L.A. Victoria confirms as much, saying she thinks
Victor will become Sabrina's client. Victor and contemporary art?
Nikki can't believe it.
Meantime. Victor is leaving a message for Sabrina. He had a good time
with her and is looking forward to hearing from her again.
So now Victoria wants to know if David makes Nikki happy. He does, and
he wants to set a date for marriage, but it's too soon. Nikki also
told Victoria not to be getting any fantasies about her parents
reconciling.
Returning from
the bathroom, Lily tells Devon that she's coming down with something.
Popcorn in the microwave ready, Devon goes off to get it when Cane
calls. Lily isn't answering her cell. Is she there? She is. He's just
checking.
Nikki wants Victoria to be comfortable with David. She couldn't ask
for a better man. That's okay with Victoria, so long as Nikki knows
David well enough to marry him.
Victor is having a flashback to being with Sabrina. The keywords are:
"Sometimes the extraordinary is right before our eyes." In comes Adam.
Can we talk? Victor seems to be in a good mood today. Today? It's
night!
David has a flashback to when he told Nikki that he'll never lie to
her again, and her telling him that she'll share his struggle. Then
his phone rings. It's Andy with a hot tip. David says no, no. no! Oh,
okay. Maybe just once. With the fish taking the bait, Andy calls Brad
to say things went well.
Back at the mansion, Jeff informs Gloria that his girlfriend is
leaving in the morning and he wants them to start over as if they had
just met. Why, Jeff Bardwell! Are you asking me out? He is, but Gloria
can't forget what he's done.
Arriving at the AC to meet with Nikki, Victor runs into Victoria. If
he's looking for David, David isn't there. Why on earth would she say
that? Victor could care less about David. Don't worry, mother has no
plans to get married. So, who cares? Not Victor, and he tells Victoria
as much, and that he knows what she's trying to do.
Flash to Cane looking worried. Flash to Lily looking like she just got
some very bad news. She picks up the phone and dials, but we don't get
to see who she's calling.
At the office,
Victoria and Adam are discussing the Beauty of Nature ad. He knows
what makes a "compelling ad", but she doesn't want to make any changes
at this point especially if it means doing anything Adam's way.
Sabrina blows
in!
"What are you
doing here?" Victoria exclaims as she learns that Sabrina will be
going on to New York tomorrow. Noting that Victoria seems a bit out of
sorts, Victoria says she is - thanks to "boy wonder". Seeing Sabrina
too, Adam has a flashback to seeing her and Victor kissing. This is
followed by the arrival of Victor to whom Adam says he's been at work
since 6:30, but who's keeping track? "Obviously, you are," Victor
snorts.
The magazine finds Jack, Phyllis, and Nick talking about purchasing
environmentally friendly supplies like recycled paper and energy
efficient light bulbs. They note too that the web site isn't working
right as Phyllis had promised before the launch, and Jack suggests
bringing in professionals to fix it. No, Phyllis says she'll handle it
just as Felicia Forrester arrives!
With Sabrina in the break room, Victoria wonders how she got Victor
involved with contemporary art. Sabrina thinks it's because Victor has
been expanding his horizons. Victoria says that's a good thing because
Victor has been so "isolated" lately what with the divorce and the
estrangement from Nick. When she hints that daddy and mommy might
reconcile, Sabrina reminds her that Nikki is planning to marry David.
Victoria says David Chow is not much of a step up. Nevertheless,
Sabrina goes on to say that Nikki has "moved on and Victor should too.
Alas, Victoria says she's not giving up on a reconciliation.
In his office, Victor is thinking back to being with Sabrina in Los
Angeles - and the kiss.
Felicia is in town because she intends to be very "hands on" where
Forrester ads are concerned. She's also interested in that model on
the magazine's cover. "Lily is on exclusive contract with Jabot," Jack
injects, prompting Nick to tell Felicia that she might have to twist
his mother's arm is she wants Lily. Felicia also wants what all
advertisers want: favorable editorial space. Well, they'll have to
talk about that later over dinner at the AC. This suddenly worries
Phyllis. People will think the magazine is bias. Jack has also reached
the conclusion that if Felicia wants Lily, they'll just have to get
Lily for her.
At the campus house, Lily has summoned Cane. Bad news... she's
pregnant.
As they talk about designs for Amber's ad, Jack asks Daniel if he'll
lock up before getting a call. The bid on recycled paper is outrageous
and the guy he's discussing it with his leaving for Chicago in the
morning so Jack must meet with him pronto. Meantime, Phyllis is
calling Nick to say the sitter is sick and she can't make it to the AC
with him. When he comes home, Phyllis wants him to bring her a hot
fudge sundae with extra fudge. Overhearing Nick's end of the
conversation, Adam learns that Phyllis is home alone.
Asked why
she's not in New York, Sabrina tells Victor she took "the scenic
route". But it's only for the night as she'll be leaving in the
morning. So why not stay at the ranch? In pops Victoria to tell
Sabrina to be sure she spends some time with her before leaving. After
some sweet talk, Victor convinces Sabrina to stay at the ranch. His
driver will take her there.
After commending Amber on her "slick" ad/designs, Adam says he came by
the magazine to see Phyllis. Nick quickly volunteers that Phyllis is
home.
During their dinner meeting, there's not much other than lots of
jibber-jabber between a pushy Felicia and Nick and Sharon about the
teen market and colors.
Lily's aghast. Didn't they do everything right? Maybe the test is a
false positive.
Phyllis is at home with the baby when Adam comes by looking for Nick.
Gosh, Nick's not home? Oh well, there are problems with the BON ad. He
understands this will mean an added expensive for the magazine, but...
not a problem! Phyllis says the ad will be fixed.
When Felicia's phone rings, she goes off to take the call leaving
Sharon alone to tell Nick that if Felicia keeps stroking him he'll
start purring. Nick knows what Felicia is doing. It's no big deal.
Sharon thinks it is and that Felicia wants to stroke more than Nick's
ego.
"We aren't kids," Cane sputters. He's got money; they've got family.
Lily keeps whining. She can't be having a baby. How will she live her
life with a baby dragging her down? Besides that, Neil will kill her
and she's not telling him because Neil will be disappointed and give
her one of those looks.
Sabrina arrives at the ranch and she's looking at photos on the piano
when Victor pops out with wine! They speak French to each other off
and on before toasting to what Victor says is "a new friendship".
Amber thinks Daniel is jealous because Adam paid attention to her.
They squabble back and forth until Amber screams, "I'm the anti-Lily"
and tells him to go find himself a boring girl; there must be
thousands. This leads to a removal of clothing and sex again at the
office.
Phyllis wants Adam to leave. He can't understand what the rush is, so
she tells him that his coming to see Nick was just an excuse to see
her. That's when Adam says that Phyllis is attracted to him. That's
it! Phyllis wants him gone. Adam wants to know how she and Nick hooked
up because they are so different. It's none of Adam's business, and as
Phyllis is showing him the door Nick returns.
Thanks to
Miguel, Victor says a grand meal has been prepared just for him and
Sabrina. But first he has a gift. A vase. A puppy vase so rare Sabrina
nearly faints. For me? Yes, for her and white mums too!
Nick didn't bring home the fudge sundae. Phyllis got instead chocolate
brownies with extra frosting. Nick quips that he doesn't like Adam
bringing work into the house, adding that Adam is "insecure." Phyllis
says Adam is "smug" and "overconfident" and wonders what it is that
makes Nick so love her. Kissing her all over, Nick says there are many
things he loves about her. As the clothes come off, they go up the
stairs.
The deed done, Daniel says he's never met a girl quite like Amber
before and they go at it again.
Feeling Lily's belly, Cane watches as she sleeps.
Reporting to Sharon, Jack brings her up to speed on what happened with
Felicia.
The deed done, Nick and Phyllis are downstairs. She wants to know what
if they hadn't had an affair. Would they have ended up together? Nick
says sure they would.
Adam is at the AC when still at the office Victoria calls Phyllis to
learn that Adam ordered changes to the ad. There will be no changes!
Does Phyllis understand? She does. Then Victoria calls Adam. Seeing
who's calling, he lets the call go to voicemail.
The mums now sticking out of the puppy vase, Sabrina is flying high.
She wanted to see Victor again, but is it a dream? It's no dream,
Victor mumbles as he kisses her, and lifting her into his arms,
carries her upstairs.
It's a new day
at the funny farm. Jeff is giving Gloria a rose and talking about "a
new beginning". To celebrate, Jeff talks of a special, fancy dinner
and then off to get takeout from the AC he goes. The moment he's gone,
Kyon barges in to tell Gloria that Jeff hurt her and he'll hurt Gloria
too.
Out at the ranch, Victor and Sabrina are speaking French. She slept
"amazingly" and gets a kiss from her man before Victoria blows in.
Saying he's off to the office, Victor is thanked first for "taking
care of" Sabrina. Alone now, Victoria wants to know everything. "About
what?" Sabrina wonders. Everything. "Tell me what happened!" Victoria
implores.
Karen is moving into Neil's place. She's got romance novels and books
of poetry, but is Neil sure the kids will approve? She doesn't want to
kick them out of their mother's home. Neil says no. She's not kicking
anyone out. This is her home now; their home.
Looking like they slept on the campus house sofa, Cane tells Lily that
he loves her. Lily needs time to think. Cane says he'll take the day
off and think with her. No, she wants to be alone. The baby will
change everything. Ah, but it already has, Cane notes.
"Did he offer you a job?" Victoria probes, adding that Victor needs to
so that Sabrina will be in town more often. By the way, would Sabrina
go to the office with her? Of course she will.
Informing Gloria that Jeff promised to marry her and didn't, Kyon
flips. Gloria seduced Jeff away from her! Gloria is a rich American.
Is she in love with Jeff? Gloria says it's none of her business and
then takes Kyon to see the wine cellar.
In his office, Victor is impressed with a report "Good morning sir"
Adam did. Adam wants to be reassigned to another project. Victoria is
getting in his way and there's too much disagreement between them.
Victor disagrees, "conflict can be productive."
More nonsense with Neil and Karen as Neil reads steamy lines from a
romance novel and they frolic on the bed.
Summoned by Lily, Colleen arrives to learn that condoms are only
effective 98-percent of the time. Does that mean... yes, Lily is
pregnant. Well then, she must see a doctor. Does Cane know? Yes, he
knows, and Lily says that together they'll figure things out. But,
does Lily want the baby? Lily isn't sure. In a way she does, in
another way she doesn't. Has she told Neil? Oh heavens no. She can't
tell daddy. He'll be "disappointed" and that won't be good because
Neil has only recently accepted that Lily is all grown up.
Engaged in
another of their squabbles, Victoria rips Adam for going behind her
back. That Victor overrode her decision about the Beauty of Nature ad
didn't help. "Is it because I went to Harvard?" Adam sneers, as to why
she doesn't like him. He can't understand the hostility because he
doesn't want to replace her, or Nick. He only wants that she accept
that he's qualified for this job. Oh, okay. She accepts.
Coming down the AC stairs, Wally spots Jeff and assumes Gloria is home
alone.
At Jabot, Felicia tells Nikki she wants to borrow Lily. Nikki isn't
sure until Nick says that having "two industry giants" sharing the
same hot model would be awesome. In comes Cane to learn that Lily is
in big demand and if there was any doubt Nikki wiped it away when she
said that Lily is about to become a very busy girl.
Lily doesn't know what to do. Colleen wants her to see a doctor so
she'll know how far along she is. Just then Chloe calls. Get her butt
over to Jabot pronto! Lily says she's not feeling well, but eventually
gives in.
Kyon and Gloria are in the wine cellar so they don't hear when Wally
rings the doorbell. After a short chat about wine, Kyon slips out and
locks Gloria in.
Informing J.T. that she and Adam have reached an agreement, J.T.
springs it on her that he's doing a background check on Adam. Isn't it
weird that J.T. would do that? It is, but wouldn't Victoria feel
better if she knew more about Adam? She would.
Thanking Victor for a good time, Sabrina says she feels bad. She hates
keeping secrets from Victoria. Victor easily blows off that concern by
giving Sabrina something she can tell Victoria. He wants to hire her
as a consultant!
Meeting Felicia at Jabot, and learning that she'll be the model for a
new line of Forrester products, Lily says, "I'm speechless."
Letting himself in, Wally calls out for Gloria. Kyon pops out to ask
who Wally is and threatens to call the cops. Screaming in Korean, she
pushes him out the door, but he's already seen Gloria's purse.
Victor wants Sabrina to stay in Genoa City and take her arts
excursions from here. Victoria pops in, Sabrina leaves so that
Victoria can whine about Adam. Victor has a solution. He's breaking
her and Adam up. Adam will retain control of BON and Victoria can find
something else to busy herself.
Jeff returns with the takeout and he too calls out for Gloria when
Kyon reveals herself. Where's Gloria? "She left you! Divorce her! She
used you. Why would you want her when you can have this," Kyon says
while taking off her clothes.
Victoria is
pissed. Victor doesn't care. Adam brings to NE a "fresh prospective"
and his mind is made up. Slamming out, Victoria runs into Sabrina in
the hall. Whining about what has happened, Victoria is elated when
Sabrina tells of the job offer. Then, out of the blue, Victoria asks
if Sabrina will be her son's godmother! She had to ask? Of course
Sabrina will be the godmother. And why is that? Because Reed Hellstrom
is "a miracle child". That's it then. Sabrina is expected to attend
the official swearing in ceremony which will take place in two weeks.
Karen wants to hang a picture. Neil says, so hang it. Just as Karen is
about to do it, Neil has second thoughts. Not there! Not in the place
where Dru hung a picture when she first moved in, and especially not
on this day of days. The anniversary of Dru's memorial service! As a
matter of fact, Neil says he should probably "drive up" to see the
kids.
Back home, Devon reminds Lily that this is the anniversary of Dru's
memorial. She knew that. She had a dream of Dru and wishes Dru could
be with her. But doesn't she know? Dru is always with them. That's
what Devon said. Lily's got news for Devon too. She's going to Los
Angeles on a modeling assignment. But what about school? Devon didn't
ask. He did think it was odd considering how sick Lily has been. Oh,
he saw the pregnancy test too. Is she pregnant? A weepy Lily spits it
out; yes. But she can't tell Neil and wants Devon to promise that he
won't tell.
Victor's got a solution to Sabrina's concern that the art world is not
in Genoa City. He'll help her build the art museum she's always
wanted! Sabrina is overwhelmed. And now she has a plane to catch, and
a kiss good-bye.
Telling Kyon to leave, neither she or Jeff see Wally slip past them.
Watching the clothes come off, Wally doesn't appear to like it much.
Meantime, Gloria is still trapped in the cellar.
Not the most
exciting day in Genoa City, Jack is at the magazine when that noisy
elevator rumbles and off steps a processor server. Michael is suing
him for $2 million.
In Victor's office, Michael has the papers he wanted so that a
foundation can be established, and he's working on something Victor
wanted pertaining to Adam.
Adam's in the break room when Nick comes in to tell him to stay away
from Phyllis. "She told you?" Adam inquires, adding that some women
think every guy is looking at them. "Don't embarrass yourself. Stay
away from my wife," Nick goes on, calling Adam "junior" and letting
him know that he, Nick, doesn't miss the empire and that Adam can have
it all for as much as he cares.
With Gloria still locked in the wine cellar, Jeff and Kyon are going
at it in the living room as a disgusted-looking Wally observes. Wally
also sees Gloria's coat and keys, so she must be there. But where?
Adam suggests that Nick is making mountains out of mole hills. He and
Phyllis are just friends; business associates. Yeah, but do friends
visit their homes unannounced?" Nick questions. Adam says it wasn't
that way at all; he went to see Nick. The bottom line is that from now
on anything Adam has to say about business can be discussed only with
Nick at the office. "I had no idea you were this insecure," Adam
sneers, as Nick leaves laughing.
Jack told Phyllis about the lawsuit and what he did. Phyllis
understands; he did the right thing by breaking it off. Sharon arrives
and in the process of telling her about the suit mentions that the
homeowners policy may cover the damages. Sharon offers to make nice
with Michael to make the suit go away, but Jack says no. He's tougher
than that "little pit bull." If Michael wants to sue let him "bring it
on!"
Michael's next stop was the coffee shop where he got a call that Jack
has been served. Kevin and Jana learn of the suit too and the subject
changes to Gloria whom Kevin says shouldn't be blamed for Lauren's
fall. This leads to Michael giving Kevin a pop quiz on what he would
do if Gloria comes to him again asking for help.
"Gloria! I'm here!" Wally calls outside the wine cellar. Can he pick a
lock? Of course he can. He's got a penknife. A wiggle here, a wiggle
there and the door springs open as do Wally's eyes when he sees all
the booze. Oops, nobody thought to prop the door open and it closes
again trapping both inside. Darn the luck, Wally says he left the
knife outside too and doesn't have a cellphone. Informing Gloria as to
what's happening in the living room, Wally says she deserves better
and wants to know what Jeff is holding over her.
Leaving a
message for Sabrina, wishing her a good trip to New York, Victoria
looks up to see Nick. They talk briefly about Adam with Nick
concluding that Adam wants what they have.
Phyllis is telling Jack that the lawsuit is insane when Adam calls to
say he's sorry if he made her uncomfortable. "We're practically
family" Phyllis says, adding there's no reason they can't work
together. Alas, Adam says from now on he can only talk shop with Jack
or Nick.
Michael doesn't want Gloria invited to the wedding. He wants to teach
her a hard lesson. Jana is more sympathetic. If it weren't for Gloria
she might not be alive.
Wally wants Gloria to enjoy their time together, but she wants out and
they start jimmying the lock.
With Victor now, Victoria says she's happy to hear that daddy offered
Sabrina a job and hopes she accepts. Then she whines that Victor took
her off the BON project sticking her with acquisitions of which Adam
is more qualified. Victor says his decision stands.
As Jack is telling Sharon that he's got to see his lawyer, Nick
returns and Phyllis tells of having heard from Adam. Nick thinks it's
weird. Phyllis wonders what's going on but can't say more as Jack
calls them into a meeting.
Jana is talking about what Michael is doing to Gloria when the subject
of Michael's father comes up. As far as he's concerned, father Baldwin
is dead. He went to Louisiana looking for his family, found nothing,
and that's the end of it. Adam pops in, introduces himself to Michael
as Adam Wilson, Michael notes that he's really Victor Newman JR, and
when Adam says genetically that's true, Michael cuts him short and
leaves.
"They don't teach cosmetics at Harvard!" Victoria gripes. She knows
nothing about acquisitions, so why have her run that department?
Because she's a great negotiator, Victor says, making it clear again
that his decision is final.
The wine cellar open, Gloria scurries out and finding Kyon in Jeff's
arms screams at him, "You filthy pig!"
After their meeting, Sharon tells Jack she's got to pick Noah up.
Little League starts tonight! Phyllis wants to know from Nick, did he
talk to Adam?
Still taking about Gloria and the wedding, Kevin says there's a future
out there for his family and for him and Jana. He wants their wedding
day to be a happy one without "mamazilla" ruining it.
Gloria rips
Jeff to shreds as he pleads innocence. When Jeff tells Wally to butt
out, Wally says someone has to fight for Gloria's honor. Then Gloria
throws Kyon and Jeff out. Before he's gone, Jeff warns that she knows
what he'll do. She doesn't care. She'd rather go to prison. SLAM!
Prison? Why would Gloria go to prison? She tells Wally it's nothing;
just an expression.
Michael is at the AC with a client when Jack comes in and calls him a
real appetite killer. He continues snipping away, saying Michael's
case won't fly and that he offered to pay Lauren's medical expenses.
Michael won't budge. He does say that Jack should look on the bright
side; he'll be saving a bundle on property taxes.
Wally wants to be with Gloria, but she wants to be alone. Breakfast
tomorrow then? No, and so Wally leaves. Meantime at the AC, Jeff is
telling Kyon that she'll be on the first plane out of Genoa City
tomorrow. She won't leave without money. Oops, wrong thing to say, and
Jeff tells her as much.
On the phone with a potential client, Phyllis says he won't believe
how much traffic the magazine's web site generates! Nick is impressed;
she's some business woman. So hot, so talented. So much woman Adam
wants her because he sees her as Nick's. It's true, and Phyllis says
she can do business with Adam too. Maybe not. Nick says Adam can't be
trusted.
In the break room, Victoria congratulates Adam for being awarded the
BON project and he pretends not to know she's off the project.
Victor was surprised to see Sabrina walk into his office. "You're
still here?" Unless she's a ghost, she is. She was at the airport, but
she couldn't leave. She came back to accept Victor's offer which he
says makes him very happy.
Gloria is
looking around the mansion, having flashbacks of what happened, before
congratulating herself on getting what she wanted. Meantime at the AC
bar, Jeff is drowning his sorrows in booze.
Also at the AC, Nikki is telling Victoria that she's thinking about a
wedding cake even though no date for the wedding has been set. The
bottom line is that she and Victor are divorced and so Victoria better
learn to accept it and move on.
In his office, Victor and Sabrina ramble on about why she didn't leave
until they agree to take their chances and seal the deal with a kiss.
Back at the AC, Brad is commending Heather on her belly crunch
technique as it would appear she worked out before sitting down to a
big meal. For whatever reason, she blurts out that Brad should be
proud to know her.
When Victoria whines that daddy took her off the BON project, and gave
it to Adam, Nikki says how unfair that was of Victor.
On the phone telling someone to wait until the subprime mortgage
crisis is over, when Victor is done Sabrina asks if he's sure about
hiring her. There are more experienced art people than she. Victor's
response is that when she gets to know him she'll understand how he
makes business decisions and hiring her was just that. Has she told
Victoria the good news? Sabrina says not yet; she's not sure how
Victoria will respond.
The AC is buzzing with people including Colleen and the Professor. His
book has been published and soon the whole country will be talking
about it.
On the phone, Jack is telling someone that he needs some good news.
Jeff's phone is ringing too. It's Kyon who he tells to get on the next
plane out of Genoa City and leave him alone.
Jana shows up
at the mansion to tell Gloria that if she does something positive for
Kevin he'll come around. At that moment, Michael is at the coffee shop
complaining to Kevin that Jack interrupted him while he was with a
client. The conversation switches to how long it's been since Kevin
has seen Gloria with the conclusion that after one entire day their
tough love plan is working.
Looking for
Victoria, Sabrina runs into Adam and tells him that she's working for
Victor. Not at NE, but somewhere in Genoa City.
Brad presumes that Heather wants to question him and so she asks where
he was born. Brad won't say. "It's a long, boring story." Heather
reminds Brad that she's a "trained investigator" and thus she knows
that he's "intense" and "charming" because how else would he have got
himself a job at Jabot. Speaking of which, she wants to know more
about the company. Well, there is Nikki, only one of the great
business women Brad knows. And what about David Chow? All Brad will
say is that there's much to be suspicious about where David is
concerned.
Jack is on the phone again telling someone to make the lawsuit go
away. As he hangs up, Jeff offers to buy him a drink. Jack declines.
Jeff doesn't understand the bad vibes. After all, "We're partners in
crime so to speak."
Gloria found one of Kyon's earrings on the sofa as Jana went on about
the wedding wanting Gloria to be part of it. She doesn't know when, or
where the wedding will be, but she wants Gloria to stand up for her
and Kevin.
Sharon slithers in and pins Michael down. Even if he won't drop the
suit, he will listen to her! Michael goes over the highlights. Jack
confessed. His action sent Lauren to the hospital. Lauren is on pain
meds and she's anxious again which could lead to more panic attacks.
In fact, Michael says Lauren "may never recover" and could be "scared
for life".
Sharon appeals to Michael's "sense of decency". Jack grew up in that
house. Can't Michael be happy that Gloria has the house now and leave
well enough alone?
Kyon calls Jeff again, and this time he tells her to stay in her room
unless she's inclined to open a window and take a swan dive.
Flash to Nikki on her phone. Where is David?
With Victor briefly, Adam says it must be nice having Sabrina walk
into his life.
Finding
Victoria at the AC, Sabrina tells her of taking Victor's offer.
Victoria is elated. She suggests that if Sabrina needs a place to live
J.T.'s old loft may still be available! That would be the loft J.T.
once said the rent was $2,000 per month and which some suspect has
since been converted into Restless Style Magazine headquarters. Or,
Victoria says Sabrina could stay with her and J.T. and the baby at the
outhouse. Sabrina doesn't need either of those choices. She'll be
staying with Victor! Wowie! Victoria is thrilled to see that Victor
has realized how "brilliant" Sabrina is.
Telling Jana that she's been a bride "five times", Gloria listens as
Jana says she calls the shots as far as the wedding goes and that Jeff
will be one lucky guy if Gloria lets him back into her life. According
to Jana, Gloria is a "catch". Plus, she's an incredible business woman
and so much more.
Thinking his
conversation with Sharon was over, Michael listens as she calls him
"cruel and vindictive" and says she thought they could "be grownups".
But no. Michael has shown Sharon that he's just like his mother.
Coming into the AC, Paul can see there's something bothering Nikki.
Does she want to talk about it? Well, there is a problem with David.
He's a gambling man, and he's gone to Texas on a family matter. Or so
he says. Nikki has her doubts. So does she want Paul to investigate?
No. Spotting Heather with Brad, Paul goes over to ask Heather out to
dinner. Brad is insulted. Can't Paul see Heather's with him? "He's my
father," Heather blurts out.
Hauling Sabrina before Nikki, Victoria tells of the good news and
wants to celebrate.
Saying he's got to get back to the office, before Michael can leave
Kevin asks what's up with Sharon? Did Michael tell her "where to shove
it?" The "Jackal" will soon learn not to mess with our family. Maybe
not, because Michael's losing his spine. Sharon said he's just like
Gloria. As Jana comes in, Michael leaves without saying a word to her.
Jana wants to set a wedding date, but their schedule is so busy.
There's the weekend in Chicago; the car show after that. Very busy.
The professor wants to know if Colleen told Brad about the book. She
hasn't. He's leaving tonight to attend a book expo and during the two
days he'll be away the professor suggests that Colleen read the book.
Nikki wonders where Sabrina will be staying. The AC hotel? Victoria
says she'll be staying at the main house. Oh really? Yes, and having
Sabrina in town is already making things much better for Victoria.
Returning to Newman Enterprises, Sabrina has something important to
tell Victoria, but before they can find some privacy Adam appears to
say, "You must be in hog heaven". It's a thing they say in Kansas,
Adam notes as he congratulates the happy girls and leaves. Saying
again it's possible that her parents will get back together, Victoria
wonders what Sabrina wants to tell her. Oh, nothing important.
Jana and Kevin pick a date, but don't say what it is. Jana did say
that she's asked Gloria to stand up for them, however. Meanwhile,
Gloria is talking to herself in a mirror. "You are fabulous". Placing
a call to Jeff, when he doesn't answer, Gloria says she'll let him
call her.
Catching up with Jack, Sharon asks what was so important that he
couldn't tell her earlier? He bought them a house!
Flash to Nikki calling David again - no answer.
At home, Victor looks up from his computer as Sabrina enters the room.
"She walks like beauty in the night. She inspires me," Victor mumbles
as they speak French and he touches her face. Did she tell Victoria?
No. She couldn't because Victoria is hoping that daddy and mommy will
reconcile. Victor knew this, but she must be told the truth that he
and Sabrina are involved. "Are we?" Sabrina asks. They are if that's
what Victor wants, and he wants.
