Ashley and
Jack are on the phone. She's on her way to see Victor. In the living
room, Sharon is answering her phone as Ashley tells Jack she's got a
bad connection and must go. The call Sharon got was for Jack. It's the
FBI. They want to see him. FBI? Sharon is aghast. No worry, Jack told
her it's "nothing". He didn't tell her before because he didn't want
to ruin the mood of Katherine's death. Oh, oh. Sharon is pissed and
away she goes.
Phyllis is still tracking down information about Jack when Nick and
Nikki arrive at RSM. Nikki is ready to get back to work. Phyllis has a
meeting to go to. Nikki wants to know what's on the agenda. Nick wants
her to rest and move in with him and Phyllis. She won't do it. Nick
calls Paul to say he needs help with mommy.
Heather and Adam are rehashing the Victor case. He's oddly happy about
the attention he's getting from Victor, and he's got a surprise for
Heather. A diamond necklace with pendant. The mood is ruined when
Dennis, Heather's boss, comes in and Adam goes out.
At the jail, Michael is being told again by Victor that he didn't kill
Walter Palin. As soon as his experts get the diary/journal they'll
prove it's a forgery. Oh, and Victor wants Adam prosecuted "to the
fullest extent of the law".
Sharon is at the coffee shop where it happens Phyllis is too. So how's
Jack? Where's Nick? Sharon doesn't want to talk about anything with
her. On the phone, Phyllis cancels a meeting.
Nikki is pissed. Nick called Paul who took her to his place! She says
she doesn't need a baby-sitter. "Isn't that what friends are for?" he
asks, adding that if the roles were reversed she'd do the same for
him. Alas, Nikki still blames herself for Katherine's death. She's not
sleeping at night.
The no contact rule not in effect today at the jail, Ashley hugs
Victor, who says she was right to tell him to face the music. Once
he's free, he'll start over again and it's all thanks to her. His
reconciling with the children too.
Phyllis went to see Jack. "This is not a good time!" he bellows, as
Phyllis says she saw Sharon and Sharon is looking to Nick for comfort.
Back at RSM,
Sharon is indeed with Nick reporting that Noah is on his best
behavior. Nick knows it's really about the kiss which he can't stop
thinking about either.
As Dennis leaves, Heather reports to Adam that the FBI told them that
Michael will be examining the journal and anyone connected with it.
She also wants to know why Adam put the money he got - the $2 million
from the publisher - into a Swiss bank account.
Ashley wants Victor to forgive Nikki. He won't do it. Nikki is
responsible for Sabrina's death and that of the unborn child. Oh.
c'mon Victor, you're not one to keep a grudge. Pretty please? Do it
for Ashley.
Paul reminds Nikki that her children won't stop worrying about her.
Whatever, she won't move in with them. Right now she doesn't know who
she is. Ring-ring. It's Ashley calling Nikki to say Victor wants to
see her.
Adam wants to know who exactly is asking about his Swiss account.
Would it be Heather? Could be, as Heather says she's not sure if she
can trust him. Why is he hiding the money? Will the journal hold up in
court? Does Adam fear he'll have to give the money back?
Phyllis wants Jack to put Sharon on a leash. He wants her to put Nick
on one. Okay, what is it that Phyllis isn't telling him? A quick
flashback to the kiss, Phyllis says she wants Sharon kept away from
her family.
Nick suspects that going to Paris was wrong. The kiss was unexpected.
Golly, Victor wants to see Nikki? Paul is confused. Why trust Ashley?
Because, now Nikki trusts Ashley. Victor is back and she prays he's
ready to let her back into his life.
Kissing now, Ashley and Victor are interrupted by Michael who has the
diary. He gives Ashley and Victor gloves to wear while they flip
through the pages. As for the journal itself, Victor admits he
purchased it in Mexico, but doesn't say if journals are sold at the
bar or the nearby pharmacy.
Paul can't understand why Victor would reach out to Nikki. Silly boy,
Victor realizes that life is too short, Nikki actually said. Besides,
she's not expecting a "romantic reunion". Because they have history,
she hopes Victor wants to be civil.
Oh. My. God. Michael says the entire diary was written using the same
pen.
Adam declares before Heather that Victor is out to get him; he hated
Adam long before the journal. Forget all this nonsense, let's get
married; lets leave Genoa City.
Nick feels
guilty for putting Sharon in a bad place. Well, she says she didn't
have to kiss him back. Time for another flashback complete with
accordion music and then they agree to blame what happened on Paris.
Yup, it's all good.
Jack is telling Phyllis not to let the door hit her in the ass when
she throws up his trip to Mexico. She knows all about it. He denies
it. The cheap motel, the RSM press credentials, Phyllis has proof and
shows him a printout of all his expenses which he apparently turned in
after the clandestine trip.
Paul wants Nikki to eat some of his "world famous toast". No thanks,
she's in a hurry to leave. Okay, he understands that she doesn't want
to live with her kids, so why not move in with him? No pressures,
he'll even let her control the remote control. Really? Really? Why
yes, really. He'll have a key made right away.
Ashley, Victor and Michael agree that Nikki would never have been in
cahoots with Adam. Michael gets a flash. He'll call the publisher!
Victor says Adam is "too stupid" to pull this off by himself, and
Michael is to get right on it. Chop-chop.
Now Sharon is telling Nick about the journal, Jack and Adam. Meantime,
Jack is telling Phyllis he could have her arrested for digging into
his personal information. Go for it and Phyllis will tell Sharon about
the "hookers" and the motel. "Is that a threat?" Jack asked. So
Phyllis tells him again. She yells that he's losing his wife. Face the
fact. Nope, he won't. He warns that if she ever sticks her nose in his
business again it'll be war - and she'll lose.
In her office with Adam, Heather is told that he has contacts in
Brussels. He can get a job there. She can too. Let's go! No. She's not
going to move on a whim. Adam should know how important her job is.
The bad news according to Michael, is that Victor wrote a confession.
He tells this to Nick on the phone before Nick says he knows who's
working with Adam - Jack!
Sharon returns to find Jack in a rush to see the FBI. So what's he
been doing why she was gone? He's got great news! The Abbott family
has regained Jabot and he'll be running the company again. Sharon
can't believe it, unless he schemed. No, Jack says it's all on the up
and up. Things are looking up for them. They're getting the family
company back and he'll tell her more when he gets back. With Jack
gone, the doorbell at Brad's place is ringing. It's Phyllis!
Victor tells Ashley again to go back to London. He doesn't want to
drag her into his mess. Nope. He can't get rid of her that easily. And
just as they hug again Nikki walks in.
Show #9030 -
11.25.08 - Director Dean LA Mont
A short
Thanksgiving week in Genoa City, we'll be here for you today and
tomorrow, then off Wednesday and Thursday returning on Friday for a
look at Monday, Dec. 1. Since there must be much to give thanks for,
let's see who in the big city is remembering the fortune Katherine
gave them. Oops, nobody.
Phyllis is at Brad's place wanting to make a deal. Has she forgot that
Brad is hot for Jack? No, that's what she came to tell him. That
Sharon and Jack's marriage is on the rocks.
Meanwhile, Sharon is having a flashback to when she accused Jack of
keeping secrets. The good thing is she never got pregnant. At the same
time Heather and the FBI are grilling Jack who says he's got nothing
to hide.
Neil, Olivia and Tyra are discussing Tyra's "date". Seems she's
nervous as the doorbell rings. In comes the cop to take Tyra away as
Neil calls out for him to have her home at a decent hour. The question
Neil has for Olivia is whether the cop is good enough for Trya. Olivia
recalls a time Dru was told to learn how to cook if she wanted to
catch Neil.
With Victor at the jail, Ashley says she's going back to London to get
Abby when Nikki appears. Holding a copy of the diary/journal, Victor
mumbles at her, "Do you know about this?" It's a photocopy of the
diary Adam "found". Is Nikki responsible? Is Victor crazy? She moved
heaven and earth to save him. She has no idea how it got to the ranch,
unless, the little Mexican girl. What? The girl is in Genoa City?
So Jack never met Walter Palin? Jack says no. But he does know Adam.
Yes, Jack said he's known Adam "since he was in diapers". They
are/were business associates, not friends. Jack knows about the diary
too, only what he's seen in that magazine. Yes, he helped Adam get the
excerpts published because he felt Victor done Adam wrong.
Phyllis is on the phone with Nick. She claims to be in traffic, but
will be at the office soon. Does she always lie to her husband like
this, Brad asked. No, she doesn't lie. She knows about Sharon and Jack
and that should concern Brad. Brad is suspicious because he's the one
who "put her [Phyllis] away" for blackmailing him. Whatever, Phyllis
wants Brad to think about it. Call her when he's ready to sign on.
Nikki is sure Victor is still grieving as he tells her to get out. She
won't leave without saying he's a self-centered son-of-a-bitch and
she's finished with him. Screaming for Nikki to get out, the door
opens and off she goes.
Olivia wants
to know if Neil loves Karen. He does. Well then Olivia has a news
flash. He shouldn't marry her.
At the AC bar Sharon is with Brad while at the coffee shop Nick is
confronting Adam again. Don't worry, Nick won't hit him this time.
Nikki ran to tell Paul that at long last she's "free". She's tired of
being punished, and Paul is as proud of her as she is of him.
Back with Nick, he follows Adam to the patio where Adam calls Victor
"a thug". Nick says Victor would never have written a journal. Nick
knows because he knows Victor than Adam does. It's Jack, isn't it?
Adam isn't smart enough to pull something like setting Victor up by
himself. "Get used to seeing Victor in jail," Adam snarls.
Olivia swears that Karen "isn't right" for Neil. There is "no
chemistry". Not like Neil had with Dru. But, Neil reminds her that Dru
is gone only to be told by Olivia that Tyra is hot for him. While this
is happening, a great place to go on a date, both of them dressed to
the nines, the cop took Tyra to the coffee shop where he says she's
too young to be a mother.
Sharon can work her problems out without Brad's help. She doesn't want
to drag him into her mess. Brad would be more than happy to get
drugged; he let her get away once.
Quick like a bunny, Sharon zoomed to the coffee shop where Nick told
her that the only reason Jack married her was to win a vendetta.
And again at
the Abbott mansion, Jack has to tell Adam to be cool. Stop freaking
out. Go home before Sharon gets home.
Paul doesn't want to wake up to an empty place on Thanksgiving. He'll
sleep on the sofa 'cause it's closer to the fridge. Oh, what a great
friend Paul is. C'mon Nikki, move in for Katherine's sake; she thought
of you like a daughter. Yeah, Nikki doesn't know how she would have
survived without Paul. Say, does Nikki remember when she and Paul
first met? He does. The bikini she was wearing; ou-la-la. They were
only seventeen. He was a young stud. Viagra hadn't been invented.
There was no his and her KY-jelly. Looking into each others eyes,
without any accordion music, they swap spit.
Olivia runs into Ashley. She had no idea she was in town. Well, she
is. Ashley thought Olivia was in Africa. She was, and now she's back
"lecturing" in Genoa City. So how is Nate Hastings? He's a medical
student at John Hopkins and Olivia is headed to Maryland for
Thanksgiving to be with him.
Tyra wants to
know about the cop's family. They all passed? All of them? Yes indeed.
Damn, that's too bad. So what's he doing for T-day? Watching football.
Oh, that sucks. Come on over to Neil's place and "join us". Please?
With Karen, Neil says Olivia won't be around for Thanksgiving because
she's going to Baltimore to be with her son. An early Christmas gift,
Neil presents Karen with a ring. He wants to make it official.
Heather at the AC, she brings Adam up to speed on the grilling of Jack
who, she says, put on a great performance. But Jack didn't fool her,
she knows he's hiding something. Adam says it's not so. Jack is
distracted is all; his marriage falling apart. If Heather sees Jack
and Sharon together again she'll be able to tell, what with her
sensitive "radar". No matter, Heather said she'll keep digging up dirt
on Jack.
As Neil puts the ring on Karen's finger, Tyra is seen kissing the cop.
In bed after doing the deed, Nikki seems surprised that Paul is still
so good after all these years. For him, it's like they're kids again.
Olivia and Ashley argue over Ashley's hooking up with Victor again.
Ashley reminds Olivia how many men Olivia has lost. Besides, being
with Victor feels so right. Victor meantime is listening to Nick
telling him about Adam and Jack being in cahoots and how they've got
to prove it.
Sharon returns home; she's made some decisions. She's going to give
the marriage one more chance. Oh, thank you so much, but it would have
been nice if she's used the word 'love'. You ass! Be lucky for what
you've got. You better be honest with me from now on. One strike, Jack
is out. Jack swears his life will be an open book. He wants the
marriage to work.
Brad has made a decision too. He's ready to join Phyllis so that he
can catch Sharon when she falls. That's the only reason he'll so it;
"for Sharon's sake".
Show #9031 -
11.26.08 - Director Sally McDonald
At the AC,
Phyllis is confirming that a table has been reserved for her
Thanksgiving party.
At the jail, Nick and Victoria are visiting daddy. What a way to spend
the holiday. Daddy can't avoid mommy. He's not. She came to see him
yesterday and pissed him off so bad he wants nothing more to do with
her.
At that moment Nikki is in bed with Paul swapping spit. She can't
remember the last time she slept so good. He is one hot stud; so full
of - himself. He hopes she doesn't think he had an ulterior motive
when he asked her to move in.
Heather is with Adam happy to be together on T-Day because Paul isn't
being much of a daddy. He agrees; their families suck. Yeah, they'll
make their own family, she says.
Noah is with Jack and Sharon getting ready for turkey dinner when he
remembers Cassie's "paper turkey". Sharon will get, and put it out.
Jack thanks her for giving him a second chance.
Neil's place is jumping. Olivia has left for Baltimore, but Tyra and
all including the cop are gathered for turkey. An announcement is made
by Lily that she didn't cook the turkey. Thank God for that.
Out at the mausoleum, Ether is being told she doesn't have to take
coats anymore because she owns the place. Billy arrives, Chloe greets
him and Jill is hugging Cane. She's so happy to have her boys on hand.
At the diner, Murphy is presenting Marge/Katherine to Joe, her boss,
who wants her to get right to work slinging hash.
Nikki and Paul
are still talking about how great the sex was. They'll keep it a
secret, especially on T-Day telling anyone wouldn't go over well.
Victor swears the diary/journal is a fake. He's sure Jack is pulling
Adam's strings and he's planning to be free by Christmas.
Chloe suggests that "mom" hire someone to cook. Billy talks to Jill
about going to visit the grave site. No can do. Jill would rather see
Katherine alive.
Customers are pleased to see Marge back. Others are demanding their
coffee some time today. The boss is giving her hell for being so slow
and Marge lips off to Joe.
Back at Neil's place, there's bad news. Gill, the cop reports that a
co-worker called in sick so he'll have to take the shift.
Jack and the family have finished eating already. Jack wants to watch
football with Noah, but Sharon says she has to take him to the AC.
Jack wants to carry on the tradition of going around the room saying
what it is they are grateful for but never does.
Phyllis claims to have worked her fingers to the bone calling around
for reservations. She, Nick, along with J.T. and the baby and Summer
are joined by Paul and Nikki. Behind them, Adam and Heather are
leaving and as they pass the table Nick snarls at Adam to enjoy the
day because it'll be his last as a free man.
Roxanne must not have been available for rental as she's not with
Devon and Lily mentions that she's spending time with Billy which
takes Neil by surprise. Meanwhile, Cane is thanking Billy for being
with Lily the other day at the bookstore when lo, Billy gets a phone
message from Lily which Jill finds strange.
Katherine is warned by Marge's pal Pearl that she's acting strange and
to get off the source or she'll get fired. Katherine says she hasn't
had a drop.
Nick and all are talking about old times when Paul asks what his
future son-in-law is up to. They ramble on about what Adam is doing to
Victor, blah, blah.
Jack is
pretending to get a call from Traci. All is going as they planned.
Ashley went back to London. Then Jack reports to Sharon that Traci
invited them to New York to so some Christmas shopping. Well, Sharon
knows how busy things get near Christmas and she's not sure she'll
have time.
Marge/Katherine is told to get a "wiggle" on and she doesn't
appreciate it. Joe wants to know who she thinks she is? The Queen of
England?
Oh lord, Katherine's seat at the mausoleum table is empty. She'll
never sit there again. An argument ensues. What are Chloe and Ether
going to do? Kick Jill out. Fat chance.
Billy appears at Neil's place looking for Lily. Neil is appalled. Is
it a good idea to be hanging with his friend's ex? Lily comes up to
greet Billy so Neil had no choice but let him in as the conversation
shifts to what a good woman Katherine was. Then, big boy that he is,
Devon starts playing tag with Ana.
Arriving on the job, Gill is handed a missing persons flyer. The
missing? Ana Hamilton!
In a flash, Gill is back at Neil's place with a social worker. Yolanda
reported Ana missing and he has a duty. Neil pipes up to say that
Yolanda is a druggie. Devon says the same thing. He says Ana is scared
to death of Yolanda and the cop isn't taking Ana anywhere. Remaining
suspiciously quiet, all Tyra said was that she's Ana's aunt.
Noah arrives at the AC in time for dessert. Phyllis and Sharon
exchange pleasantries. At the same time, Jack is at the jail giving
thanks that Victor is locked up. Victor was, of course, wondering how
long it would take before Jack showed his face.
Chloe reports that the baby is doing well despite that Cane says he
tried to get another appointment with the doc, but couldn't. Then they
throw around crazy baby names until Chloe says she knows it's going to
be a girl and, or course, it must be named Katherine which pleases
Jill to no end. Then Ether chimes in to say that she's done waiting on
Jill and for her to get used to it.
Her day done, Katherine's feet are killing her. She did make a lot if
tips, however. And Murphy should know too that if she's going to be a
waitress, Katherine will be the best there ever was.
In an AC room, Adam presents Heather with another gift. He wants to
get married on Christmas Day.
Nick proposed everyone say what they are grateful for. Noah is
thankful he won't be grounded much longer. Nick and Phyllis are
grateful for family. Paul is grateful to Nikki for sharing her family.
Nikki is grateful to have a great year ahead of her. J.T. is grateful
that Victoria and Reed had the strength to fight death. Victoria is
grateful to have a great family. Phyllis adds that she's grateful for
her incredibly "sexy" husband.
Jack is gloating. He didn't know Victor was such a great writer. He
does know that Victor is capable of murder. Victor orders him out.
Ana is getting the bad news. The social worker is taking her to foster
care. Ana says she won't go. She cries as the cop suggests they get a
good lawyer.
