01.05.09 - Director: Dean LA Mont
JT and Vikki arrive at the ranch and wonder
why they’ve been invited to dinner. Vikki thinks it’s to transition Ashley
into the family. They ring the bell and Abby answers. Hugs for all. Victor
and Ashley approach arm in arm. Such domestic bliss?
Kevin and the gang are at the jitter joint. Nikki is babysitting Summer.
They’re having mani-pedi’s and then Summer is sleeping over at Nikki’s. This
leads Kevin to Jana with confirmation that Phyllis and Nick’s house will be
empty with the money ripe for the taking.
Billy is entering Jack’s office and sits down at the desk. He takes a phone
call from “Miss Fall" out girl. She has a double date with a book and a
cross trainer so she can’t see him. Is tomorrow OK… count on it Billy says.
At the Ashby pad, Chloe and Cane are watching TV. Cane goes to get her some
water when Chloe receives a call from Billy. He needs to pick Cane’s brain
over some numbers. She invites Billy over. Meanwhile, Cane is on the phone
with Jill accepting her invitation to dinner and it will be sans Chloe.
Chloe tells baby girl that daddy will be over soon.
Back at the ranch. Victor and Ashley are asking after Reed. Victor loved
spending Christmas with Reed and Summer. Abby receives a call from Noah. JT
and Vikki would love to bring Reed over to spend time with their
grandfather.
Cane tells Jill that Chloe sends her best. Good thing because Jill wants to
discuss business. He uses the baby as an excuse to not want to be involved.
Jill continues to try to convince her son that the business is in his blood.
She wants Cane and Billy to find some common ground... Cane warns Jill that
if she trusts him again she will get hurt again.
The doorbell rings and Chloe answers to Billy who asks where Cane is. Billy
wonders why the lights are low. He questions whether Cane was even there.
She says she has a raging headache. Billy asks if the baby is OK. She sits
down due to doctor’s orders. Billy wonders what she is watching. They
discuss a screening they saw in New York and they laugh about what they saw
agreeing that the memories “weren’t all that bad”.
Now, we have Jana and Kevin dressed as would be house robbers peering into
the door of Phyllis and Nicks’ house. They hear the alarm as it is
announcing the front door has been opened It is hilarious as they struggle
to figure out how to deal with it using the key pad. Unfortunately it
doesn’t work and the alarm sounds full out. The phone rings and it’s the
alarm company. Jana answers pretending to be Phyllis in an impeccable
imitation of her voice and mannerisms and explains her husband changed the
password without telling her. She comes up with Summer as the password and
can’t believe it works. All this activity is an aphrodisiac as they hug and
kiss, but then it’s back to the business at hand, finding the money.
Victor and JT are talking and Vic is thanking
JT for helping to get Victoria back to Newman Enterprises. Victor gives JT
fatherly advice about being around his son. Ashley and Vikki are discussing
placement of photos in the house. Ashley knows this isn’t easy for Victoria
having her there in her mom and dad’s place. Vikki says that the house used
to be like a tomb. Ashley won’t tell her what happened in France but Ashley
will say she didn’t like what she saw of Victor in France. Victoria
questions whether he’ll go back there again, as in the mood not the place.
Victoria wonders why all of a sudden things are OK. Ashley assures her that
she knows all is not ok.
Kevin asks where Noah, a 15 year old might stash the cash. Jana says don’t
over think it. Kevin finds it in the pillowcase and tells her she was right
all along about 15 year old brains. They kiss and hear a noise. The gang
with Lauren and Mikey in tow, has all arrived home and Nick and Phyllis
notice the alarm is off. Kevin and Jana are in the closet hiding for what
could be hours due to their decision to partake in some holiday cheer.
Billy is on the phone with Lily as Chloe listens in. Chloe says he’s lit up
like a Christmas tree. He challenges her on her jealous behavior. She agrees
sarcastically that she is jealous especially with Cane doting on her the way
he does. Billy admits he is seeing Lily. Clears up Cane for Chloe so she
should be happy.
Lily is talking on the phone at the AC and admonishing Colleen for referring
to her as Aunt Lily. Cane walks by and overhears and questions whether she
is dating his brother.
Now Lauren wants to play Pictionary and they go off in search of markers.
Mikey opens the door to a crowded coat closet as he is astonished to find
Kevin and Jana shushing him. His response is priceless.
Cane and Lily are talking. Lily met someone and she’s not going to pass on
him just because he’s related to Cane. Cane accuses Billy of doing this to
have everything Cane has had. She is adamant that she is single and can do
whatever she wants and maybe Billy likes her and it has nothing to do with
Cane.
Billy is saying goodbye and Chloe feigns pain in her side from the baby
kicking. Billy asks if that hurts and she says no. Chloe takes Billy’s hand
and places it on her bulging belly. There, he felt that kick and is amazed.
Jill is sitting at a table at the AC. She is reading another glowing review
of Katherine’s memoir on her Blackberry. They start to discuss Marge. Jill
knows that she is still in jail and doesn’t have the money to post bail.
Cane admits that Lily is seeing Billy. Jill is sorry and Cane reiterates
that Jill can’t trust Billy.
Billy is gently touching Chloe’s stomach. He talks to their unborn child and
asks her to chill or take it easy on mom. The phone rings and Chloe answers.
He says it was Cane. Billy asks if he always checks in on her to which she
says he is very devoted. Billy says that’s what makes a great father.
Abby is talking to JT about shopping. Ash is watching them. Victor and Vikki
are walking arm in arm. She is so happy to see him smile. She really missed
her dad. Please don’t do that again she asks. He says she’s not to worry
because Ashley brought him back. She says it was like he died right in front
of her eyes. She is scared it could happen again with Ashley and Abby. He
assures her that Ash is someone he has loved for years and Abby is his flesh
and blood. He asks her not to worry and to accept who he is and his choices.
If she does that they will have no problems. Victor wants her to be happy.
The four are playing Pictionary. Phyllis comes
up with a stupid explanation for what is supposed to be on the canvas. In
reality it was a teacher. Michael suggests what the game needs is
blindfolds. Unbelievably, they buy into it and Nick and Phyllis are
blindfolded.. Mike opens the closet to release the criminals. Out the door
they go as the two nimrods try to draw while blindfolded and Michael and
Lauren try to guess the picture.
Billy and Chloe are saying goodbye. She gives him props for not using the
word sucker. Billy will catch Cane tomorrow no need to tell Cane to call
him. Chloe says bye bye daddy as she rubs her belly.
Jill is saying that the baby is going to have a good daddy. Cane leaves and
Lily walks in. Jill asks lily about it all. Lily tells Jill she has two
wonderful sons. Jill assumes Lily is going into things with her eyes wide
open. Lily tells Jill that Billy really loves her. Jill also loves Billy and
cares about Lily. Billy isn’t cruel but he wouldn’t think twice about using
someone to get what he wants. Lily appreciates the concern but she can take
care of herself and she walks away..
Nick and Phyllis are talking. He thinks she is mad at him. He says she
doesn’t want him to work there. She says she understands the shiny new coin
at Newman. He asks if this is about Sharon. She has said nothing about
Sharon.
Lauren is asking Michael what was up with
Kevin and Jana in the closet and he responds that he didn’t know but would
kill him when he found out.
At the jitter joint Kevin and Jana are rifling through the money. Kevin says
the old Jana is back. She says no it’s the new Jana as they fawn all over
one another.
JT and Vikki are discussing having survived the evening. JT says to leave it
alone and not to repeat what happened with Sabrina. She is still not happy
about Victor’s choices.
Ashley is asking Victor to not expect too much
to soon. He tells her she is part of the family now and Nick and Vic will
understand that. Like they always do!
A reporter at the AC is asking Jill what she thinks of the memoirs and if
she really hated the old broad that much. Cane lands his fist into the guy’s
jaw and he and Jill high tail it out of there as the reporter falls into the
bar.
Chloe is lying on the couch watching TV and begins to relive her encounter
with Billy in dream sequences. In it they are married and he shows
admiration for his knocked up wife. Back to reality.
Lily enters the office and Billy is sitting at Cane’s desk She says he got
Cane’s job but does he also want his ex fiancée. Billy tries to convince her
she is wrong about that and he doesn’t know why she can’t see why he likes
her. He has learned from her every single day. He hasn’t felt this way in so
long he can’t remember when he did. He thinks she likes him just for him.
Neither would ever use the other especially to get back at Cane. He wants
Lily for Lily, just her. They embrace into a long, deep kiss propelling her
to start to urgently remove his tie.

01.06.09 - Director: Andy Lee
At the jail, Jeff is asking Gloria for a
divorce. Wow, what a day to ask such a thing. What's the problem? She'll be
making bail and be out in time for tea today.
Michael and Kevin are at the Jitter Joint. Gloria's arraignment is today,
but Michael isn't there to talk about Gloria. He wants to know what Kevin
and Jana were doing in the Newman's closet.
In his office, Victor is telling Sharon that things have come full circle.
It's like a miracle he's back running the empire again. Is Nick staying on?
Victor hopes so. Meanwhile, at home, Nick is telling Phyllis he'll be
swinging by the office. Which office? Is this about Sharon? The magazine?
The cover model broke his leg in a skiing accident? Whatever will they do?
Phone rings. More problems. Damn, the graphics artist reports there's a
problem with the printing press; their deadline has been pushed back a week.
With Karen, Neil is elated to hear that Victor is in the building! Yes, and
he's with Sharon. Things okay with Noah? Yes, just teenage problems is all.
Does gramps know that Noah went to Paris? Let Sharon tell him how she went
too and was reminded of Cassie! Oh, how Cassie would have loved to have seen
Paris. Now, Sharon fears something bad might happen to Noah. Choke, choke.
More news to report: Sharon and Jack have separated; Sharon and Noah have
moved out. Victor thinks this is a good thing.
Katherine is entering the jail visitors lounge where Gloria doesn't seem to
know why she was arrested. Then she spits it out; she may be charged with
manslaughter.
Kevin did what? That's grand larceny! Not. The money wasn't Noah's or Eden's
so it's not like Kevin stole it. Besides, business has been bad; Kevin needs
the money. Gosh, Kevin, why didn't you come to big brother? Katherine didn't
mean for you to have that money. Okay then, turns us in! Nope, Michael won't
do it.
Gloria explains that when Katherine was buried she was devastated and now
here she is alive. Yes, she is the one and only Katherine. What? Gloria
really believes her? Yes, she does, and here Katherine is trying to push her
away?
Back at the JJ, Eden is on the carpet. Michael
tells that he knows about the money which she denies knowing anything about.
Michael explains it wasn't Jana's money to give to Lowell. He also knows
that she and Noah hid the money and it's not where they stashed it. "It's
back to its rightful owner", says Michael. Eden whines about her tragic life
and what daddy did to her; took the last remaining bit of her childhood. Get
used to it, girl. Lowell was a lousy father to both of them. The one good
thing though is that - thanks to Lowell - Michael has found his sister.
With Victor on the phone, Nick tells about his magazine problem and Victor
solves it. Then, Victor says he wants Nick to go to New York on Beauty Of
Nature business. Sharon is there with Victor too and agrees she'll go with
Nick who then tells Phyllis that the magazine problem is solved, that he's
going to New York with Sharon, and will be back in time for dinner. Oops,
not what Phyllis wanted to hear. She swears his being with Sharon isn't the
issue, it's that she's stuck with all the magazine work while he's dicking
around at Newman Enterprises. Oh well, Nick loves both companies and it's
not fair for her to make him pick just one.
Neil is with Victor. Neil has done a good job, but when things are in order
they'll talk more. In order? Yeah, Victor has asked Nick to stay on. Oh,
well, okay then, Neil says he doesn't mind playing second fiddle, but
doesn't like taking a backseat to the Newman kids.
Noah walks into the JJ and Sharon slams him for seeing Eden again when she
told him not to. When she gets back from her trip they're going to have a
serious discussion.
Heather meets Michael at the courthouse. Will she support Gloria being
granted bail?
Can Katherine name any of the boards she's sat on, or sits, as the case may
be. No. What about the coffee shop? Does she remember it? In comes the guard
for Gloria. She's being transferred pending her arraignment. "Can it wait?"
Gloria actually said.
All at the magazine is well again as Nick tells Phyllis that he's going to
do both jobs like he said all along. Besides, he's got another chance to
work with his daddy and can't pass that up. Phyllis understands how much
Nick needs Victor's approval, but she reminds him that Victor has already
treated him like a "second class citizen" and doesn't want him to get his
hopes up.
Kevin is having a flashback before saying he's got somewhere to go.
Michael made the deal. Gloria's bail is $350,000. All she has to do is
follow his lead. Hmmm, doesn't look like she wants to get out of jail. She
needs to stay there to be close to Katherine and apparently doesn't think
that as a visitor she can always go to the open house jail.
Now at the magazine, Noah gets a call from Eden. There's a problem with the
money; he'll be with her pronto. Delivering coffee, Noah tells Phyllis he's
got a matter of great importance to deal with. No problem, Phyllis said
she'd drive him. No thanks, he'll take a bus!
Neil is grumpy. He tells Karen that he told
Victor he won't be a doormat for the Newman kids.
All rise! Court is in session. Gloria pleads not guilty. Bail is set so long
as Gloria turns in her passport, and just as the judge is about to grant
their wish, Gloria interrupts to make a speech.
Kevin is Katherine's next visitor. Reading a magazine, Katherine looks up.
"Do I know you?"
Yikes! Eden is at Nick and Phyllis' place when Noah arrives.
Katherine informs Kevin that she's having memory problems; she knows Kevin's
mother, "she's in here", and that Kevin is Gloria's son. All of a sudden
something comes to Katherine's mind. Kevin has a shop; he works "some sort
of machine"; he owes her money! Does he have her money? The money she left
at his shop? Didn't she?
Gloria grumbles about the deplorable jail conditions and the taking of her
passport. Anyone would want to take a little trip after spending time there.
Wrong thing to say, the judge denies bail. Michael gave her hell.
Nick is with Victor who admits he was wrong about the magazine. Nick made it
a success and Victor is proud. If Nick comes back he can have full reign; no
hassle about working both jobs.
Sharon comes calling at the magazine looking for Noah and scolds Phyllis for
not checking out Noah's story. Phyllis suggests that Sharon drop the "death
grip" she has on Noah and when Sharon says that Noah is HER son, Phyllis
reminds her that Nick is HER husband.

01.07.09 - Director: Dean LA Mont
Jeff is talking to Gloria after court.
Something about there being a miscarriage of justice.
At the jail with Kevin, Katherine is trying to remember about the money. She
needs his support. Why are people in this city so jaded, so "restless". Why
doesn't Kevin believe her? His mother does. Flashback to Katherine dropping
off the money and then in walks Murphy who calls Katherine "Marge".
At the Jitter Joint, Daniel and Amber are on the patio when Phyllis calls.
She's a great idea and wants him to come talk about it.
Jill is working at the office when Jack appears. She reminds him that he has
no business being at Jabot, but what can she do about it? Nothing, and so
Jill has concluded that if Katherine can't run Jabot Jack "is the next best
thing". Jack says again that Jabot is an Abbott venture as it should be.
Jill reminds him there's a court order preventing him from running Jabot,
but if he allows Billy to run the company it might be a good thing. Jack is
confused until Jill suggests that she might give him control of her stock.
Michael wants to know why Gloria did what she did. She sputters about being
treated like a common criminal and that he's a good son. So why did she do
it? She won't say.
Kevin jumps on Murphy. How does he know Katherine? Murphy explains that
she's a dead ringer for his friend, Marge, and that Jill called the cops on
the poor woman. So, does Kevin know Jill? Can he get her to help Katherine?
Nope. Kevin says nobody can tell Jill what to do.
Pushing Amber inside, Daniel gets into again about why she suspects Kevin
killed Katherine; or at least had something to do with the death.
Daniel is at the magazine. Phyllis is planning
an all-male issue featuring only the hottest of men. She needs a cover. Who
could it be? Daniel! No! No! He won't do it. Not even for charity? Half of
all the sales will go to the less fortunate. Well, that's different.
Besides, if not for mommy he wouldn't be able to "handle" Amber.
Kevin is telling Amber that he's seen
Katherine. She's alive and in jail. Amber can't believe it as Michael walks
in to say that Gloria has decided to stay in jail. Kevin drops the bomb.
Mother is staying in jail to be with Katherine. Why would she want to do
that? Another fraud in the works? No, no. Can't Michael does something to
get Katherine out of jail? Oh, and she has a friend; a "crazy" guy named
Murphy. No deal. Michael isn't interested. But he is wondering what Gloria
stands to gain by staying in jail.
Back again, Jeff rehashes with Gloria. Is she ready to sign the divorce
papers? No. But what if they get sued? So what if they do. Hey! Who's the
broad with Katherine's face? Gloria gives Jeff a load of spit prompting the
guard to kick Jeff out.
Amber sees Katherine! Holy smokes! Is it her? She's alive? Oh Lord, it was
all a dream. Kevin snaps her out of it, and she rips into him following
which Murphy walks in to tell Kevin he's found out that Kevin owns the place
and knows a good lawyer. But when Murphy starts to leave, Kevin invites him
to stay for coffee and then has a flashback.
Also coming in, Jill runs smack dab into Amber and gets a piece of her mind
about not being a good daughter. Sitting with Michael, Jill brings him up to
speed on the time when Katherine was kidnapped.
Meantime, Kevin has the money in a bag and
gives it to Murphy whose eyes bug out when he sees all that cash. Kevin
wants Murphy to use the money to spring Katherine. Murphy is suspicious.
What's the catch? Katherine is a good woman. Yeah, Kevin tells him that
there's a book out about her and that he's convinced that crazy people can
do good things. Therefore, please don't tell Katherine it was Kevin who had
anything to do with it. Murphy will bail Katherine out, and he was right all
along: Kevin is "a good egg".
Phyllis presses Daniel. Will he do it? He's skeptical. Is this another of
Phyllis' schemes to break him and Amber up? No. Okay then, Daniel wants his
art featured in the magazine too. Deal.
Jeff wants a new office. Jack gives him
Gloria's and he has his stuff brought it. So what with the broad looking
like Katherine? Jack doesn't know much; he must be going and as he leaves
Jill arrives and talks with Jeff about Katherine who Jill says is not the
woman in jail.
Gloria probes Katherine. Who was that man, Kevin. Someone Katherine can
believe in. Oh, by the way, Gloria made it so she can stay in jail and she's
doing it just so Katherine can have a friend who can help Katherine reclaim
her rightful place in the world.
Jack returns. Jill says she can't find her cell phone and as they go off to
look for it, Jeff makes a call to someone to conduct an investigation into
who this Marge person is.
Daniel calls Amber with the good news. He's going to be on the cover wearing
an Amber Moore original! Oh, that's nice, but Amber has more important
things on her mind. That woman in jail. At the same time, Kevin is at the
bookstore talking on the phone with Jana about needing to find a book that
can prove who Katherine is.
Murphy returns to the jail where he meets Gloria. Oh, and he's "busting"
Katherine out thanks to an anonymous donor. Gloria is fuming. Katherine
thanks Gloria for being nice to her before Murphy takes her away. Now,
Gloria's in a pickle. She's got to talk to the judge; convince him that she
made a mistake.
And who should be at the bookstore? Amber! Kevin tries to convince her that
Katherine is alive, but she won't believe it. Running out of the bookstore,
Amber didn't see Katherine and Murphy walking in.
Michael is working on Katherine's case. There's a look-a-like he wants
tracked down and who better to help him? Paul is already on the case;
working on how Mr. Gibson spent the settlement money.
Jill is trying to convince Jack that he'd be best running Jabot. Jack
doesn't want her breaking up the Abbotts, but he could use her help on the
Gibson case by getting him the report from Chancellor Industries. Ring-ring.
It's Gloria calling to tell Jack that Katherine is alive and they got to do
something or lose Jabot. Sit tight, sweet cakes. Jack says he'll be right
over to bail her out. Hanging up, Jack tells Jill it was Gloria and that
Katherine is the real deal. And Gloria wants his help? To hell with that.
She can rot in prison for all he cares.

01.08.09 - Director: Susan Strickler
Paul and Nikki are at the Jitter Joint talking
about Katherine's book. Was Marge mentioned, he wonders, adding that Marge
may have resurfaced and that Jill had her arrested. Oh lord! Nikki must get
to the jail where Gloria is telling the guard she needs to make a phone
call. No, she's used up her calls for the day.
At the bookstore, Katherine and Murphy are thumbing through the book when
Jeff comes in unseen by them. Murphy wants to buy the book and get out when
Jill walks in and sees the cardboard cut-out.
Victor is on the phone telling someone not to go through Neil Winters or his
children when Ashley pops in. At the same time, Victor instructs Connie to
let someone know that he'll be going to the inaugural ball.
Jack is home when Sharon comes calling. Now that the holidays are over she
wants to know if he's going to do anything about his "problem". He is going
to a therapist? Not yet. Well, she has. She knows an expert on sex
addiction.
Victor and Ashley are talking about when the ate at the ColonRoom where
Victor reminds her that they had many good times there. For now, lunch is
being catered from there at the office.
Sharon doesn't think that Jack can face his problem alone. Wrong, he can.
Her kicking him in the ass was just the push he needed; why does she want to
bring a stranger into their problems? No dice; she'll make the call for him.
And she does. Can she get an appointment as soon as possible? Do bears crap
in the woods? Of course she can. In fact, the doctor will be making a house
call in less than an hour.
Paul doesn't want Nikki getting mixed up in the Katherine mess. He wouldn't
mind if she wants to see Gloria. Oh, yes, she'd love to give Gloria a piece
of her mind. Oh, and Paul's going to Miami on the Gibson case. Seems Mr.
Gibson knows more than he told when he got a settlement from Jabot.
Whatever, Nikki thinks Gloria should be locked up and the key thrown away.
At the jail, Gloria is having a flashback to
her call to Jack asking that he bail her out. So where the hell is he? In
real time, Gloria asks the guard if he's sure nobody is waiting to see her.
Not unless she has an imaginary friend. Then she has another flashback of
Jack telling her that he'll make sure she's locked up for life. Gloria makes
a deal with another cell mate to make a call to Jeff for her. And she does.
Sorry, Jeff can't make it. Damn it! Now Gloria is stuck cleaning toilets in
exchange for the cell mate doing the favor.
Murphy and Katherine return to the bookstore while Jill shows up at the JJ
to fight with Nikki about the book and Katherine who now has a copy of the
book at Murphy's trailer. Murphy keeps calling her Marge and tells Katherine
what a great funeral Marge had according to what he read in the papers. Now
the task at hand is to prove who Katherine is. No! Katherine wants to stay
as Marge for awhile. Guess who is outside looking through the window? Jeff!
Victor is taking Ashley to the ball with him! So, that means she won't be
back at the ranch until tonight? That's right, and off she goes. Victor
orders the car brought around to take him to the ranch.
Jack and Sharon are waiting for the doctor. She'll be his rock; make some
coffee. While she's gone, Jack jumps on the computer looking for information
on sex addiction. Ding-dong. The doctor is there!
With Jeff lurking, Katherine has a flashback to one of her fights with Jill.
At the same time, Victor is calling Jill at the JJ. Meet him at the ranch.
Also at the JJ, Ashley is there now getting grief from Nikki.
Jack claims to be over his addiction. The doctor probes. What makes him
think he's over it? Did he fall in love with porn? Did he know it was
"wrong". Yeah, what he's doing right now is wrong and he wants to stop it.
Paul knows that Nikki is bothered that Ashley and Abby are living with
Victor. She says it ain't so and that Ashley thinks she's jealous.
At Jabot, Olivia hugs Ashley and says she's worried about Ashley's being
with Victor will cause Ashley to have a relapse into depression. Ashley says
not to worry; she can handle Victor who is at the ranch telling Jill that
he's heard about the woman posing as Katherine. Could it be that same woman,
Marge? Jill thinks so. And now there's the book Jill must deal with. It
makes her out to be such a monster. Victor doesn't think Katherine would
purposely hurt her. So, why did you call me out here? To crush Jack and get
Jabot back? Yes, that's it.
Katherine and Murphy are talking about Jill
being "a nasty piece of work" as Katherine goes over the accident scene that
night when she and Marge were together details of which Katherine recalls.
So why is there no mention of Gloria in the book? Could it be Gloria isn't
her friend?
Jeff went back to the jail to taunt Gloria about not having had sex for so
long. Guess who he saw at the bookstore? Yup, the same woman he saw in jail
with that old man. So how is it the woman got out and Gloria is still in?
What are the two women up to? Gloria complains about "cleaning toilets all

ones they love; they turn to other women. No! That's not the way it
happened, Jack says emerging to thank the doctor for her time and she
leaves. "I am not a sex addict," Jack confesses. Sharon won't believe it.
She knows what she saw; the motel receipts. Oh, that. Look, here's the
truth. Adam and me were working there on forging Victor's diary.
Jeff says they gotta do something. But what? How about a quick roll in the
hay?
Murphy and Katherine go around and around about how to prove who she is?
Hey! How about Nikki? Let's go talk to her? If they hurry they'll find her
still at the JJ offering to drive Paul to the airport.
Olivia won't let it go. Does Ashley love Victor? She does. She never thought
that she and Abby could "be a family". Well, Olivia hopes she knows what
she's doing.
Victor and Jill plot. She tells of having found Jack in the CEO's chair. Ah,
that's good, says Victor. Let Jack be cocky.
Sharon is speechless. What about the escort service? That was part of his
plan. If Sharon knew what he was doing she would have tried to stop him. But
now, he's remorseful. He's come clean. So, can they find a way back
together. When he tries to touch her, Sharon blows up! She won't listen to
his lies. Jack grovels; he wants another chance. No! She's done with him.
She's filing for divorce!

Cane and Billy are talking about the book
(people are eating it up) and then the subject of Lily comes up.
At the Jitter Joint, Kevin is serving Michael, talking about the stolen
money which Kevin reports he's given back. Speaking of money, Murphy is
looking at what's left of it. Katherine has found out where Nikki "works":
At a magazine named Restless Style. Oh how great it will be having her life
back after Nikki saves the day.
Daniel is at the magazine with Phyllis (wearing the same dress she's worn
for days) fussing over his say in the next issue given that he'll be on the
cover. Nikki's there too, saying that if there's nothing else for her to do
she's taking her work home with her.
Yikes! They're in New York already where Nick sputters how he hates leaving
Phyllis home alone. Sharon is sure that if Nick reminds Phyllis how big the
NY account she'll understand.
Amber comes to the magazine looking for Daniel. He's in makeup! Nick calls
Phyllis. He'll be back before she goes to bed. This is a huge account
requiring a bit more time than he expected.
Michael gets a call from Sharon informing him she's divorcing Jack. Will he
be her lawyer? Do bears crap in the woods? He'll get the papers rolling.
Now, what has Kevin been up to? He gave Katherine's life back to her?
Katherine knocks on Nikki's AC door. Nikki is shocked. Is it really
Katherine? She's alive! Praise the Lord, even her voice sounds the same.
Look, there's a problem. People think Katherine is a fake. Nikki and
Katherine go way back; they stick up for each other. Oh yes! Nikki is
bawling.
Cane is being interviewed at the bookstore about the book. His granny is/was
a great woman. What about the fights with her daughter? How is he adjusting
since his brother's assignment at Jabot? No problem; Cane says he feels
"blessed" because he's got more responsibilities at Chancellor Industries
and he owes it all to Billy who is there too.
Back in New York, Nick and Sharon are being
asked by the woman they're meeting with about how they met. Sharon recalls
when she first met Nick at a coffee shop. It was then they both knew they
were meant for each other.
Daniel is now looking like Billy Idol. The hair is to die for. The
sideburns. The dreamy greasy kid look.
Michael is putting it all together. Kevin gave
$63,000 to a man he doesn't know? Has Kevin lost his mind? The old man could
be in cahoots with Marge; the bail was only $25,000. You dumb duck.
Daniel isn't so sure now about being on the cover. He's not a model. Phyllis
won't take no for an answer despite Amber's objections. Well then, what
about Billy? Come to think about it, Amber didn't like the idea of Daniel
being on the cover with all those women wetting their panties.
Nick and Sharon were the epitome of love. There's a flashback to Nick
begging Sharon to marry him and taking her to their new home. A baby cries.
And cries. And cries.
Now it's Billy turn to be interviewed. Yes, his granny was a great woman; an
inspiration. So why did he join a takeover of Jabot? Because John Abbott was
his father. Now that the company is back in Abbott hands Jabot will deliver.
Michael gets another call and goes off for better reception when Murphy
blows in with the rest of the money. He says there's another $38,000 in the
bag and wants Kevin to take it back.
Nikki may be having seconds thoughts. She saw Katherine's body at the crash
scene. Duh, it could have been that Marge woman. Yeah, and Murphy found her
thinking he'd found Marge. And then there was the diner and working as a
waitress, but still Katherine's memory isn't what it was. Does she have any
memories of her and Nikki together? No. Only that she and Nikki are very
dear friends. She only knows that because she read it in the book. Nikki
quizzes her. Can Katherine remember when Nikki called her from Mexico? Why,
yes, she can. Nikki was in some sort of trouble. "Dear God In Heaven" how
can Katherine get through to her? What if she screams I AM KATHERINE! Oops,
wrong thing to do. Now Nikki's not believing her.
The woman is sold on Nick and Sharon's story.
The Beauty of Nature deal shall proceed, but they must stay in New York to
hammer out the details.
Daniel is engaged in a photo shoot. Amber gives him some spit for incentive
as grungy music blares away. No matter what Amber and Phyllis do, Daniel's
not really into it.
Billy and Cane talk about Cane's "bonding" with Chloe. Then they argue about
the book. Cane calls Billy a "bastard" and Billy responds, "you have no
idea."
Michael returns in time to see Kevin with the bag of money. Ah, it's all
part of the con. Spread a little money around, make it look good. So what
will Kevin do with the money? Michael stops Murphy. He'd like to represent
Murphy's friend for free. Let's talk.
Nikki accuses Katherine of being a fraud. Does she have any idea the pain
she's causing? Katherine pleads to no avail. Nikki tells her to get out;
take her stinking jewelry with her. And Katherine does. Upset. Katherine
returns to the trailer where Murphy reports they got a lawyer. Hey, why so
glum, chum? Something happen with Nikki? She didn't believe you? Oh, the
horror! She offered you money to go away? No, you ain't going anywhere.
Meantime, Nikki is having a flashback to telling Katherine that she is the
first female friend Nikki ever had.
Billy and Cane talk about honor. Cane's knocking up a woman and - BAM! They
duke it out.
Kevin is having a fit. Something went wrong with the plumbing; he'll have to
charge it this time. Wait! Michael is there with a solution and at the same
time someone is reporting a murder - Amber! Phyllis blows in to tell Michael
that Nick is spending the night in NY with Sharon. Speaking of those two,
they have hotel rooms across from each other. This is also a good time for
Sharon to tell him that she's divorcing Jack.
