(Back from the moon edition)
Jill is bawling. Katherine
is berating Cane. How could he do such a thing? Up pops Phillip to say Cane
didn't do anything, he did. Murphy wonders if the old lady is okay. She's
not. She collapses into Cane's arms as Neil calls for an ambulance. Nina is
standing there with her mouth open and Lily is just standing there. Murphy
assures Katherine that help is on the way and lo, there's the ambulance now!
Jill swears up and down that Phillip died. No, he didn't, but he says he
never meant to come back to cause pain. On a meat gurney, Katherine is
hauled away and when Jill turns around Phillip is gone.
Billy and Mac are going at it hot and heavy. He vows not to let her get away
this time. Ring-ring. Billy doesn't want to answer, but Mac predicts
something could be wrong. Caller-ID shows the call coming from the
Mausoleum. It's Ether to say there's more bad news. At the same time Chloe
is calling to tell Billy that Cane is a fake and the real Phillip is back.
Back at the scene, Nina demands that Cane get Phillip back. Cane explains
how he pulled it all off. Neil is shocked and Nina is swearing there will be
hell to pay.
At the God Have Mercy Medical Center, the witchdoctor suspects Katherine had
a stroke, who says she feels fine. Murphy says he had a bad feeling
something like this would happen as Jill tells Olivia that Cane is not Cane.
Olivia is aghast as her phone rings summoning her to another emergency.
Katherine wonders if she really saw Phillip. Jill says yes; it looked like,
smelled like Phillip and there he is outside the door and only Murphy saw
him. Going outside the room, Murphy introduces himself as Katherine's wife,
um, husband and that Phillip as some 'splaining to do and then called Nina
with his findings.
More with Neil scolding Cane and the same from Lily. Cane lied and he lied.
So about some truth. Who is he really?
Nina appears at the GHM. Murphy tells Nina to take Phillip away because he
doesn't want Katherine upset except that she screams for them to get into
the room. And there they all are crammed together. Murphy will leave, but
they better be nice or he'll be back.
Katherine says that Phillip
isn't Phillip no matter that he says he is. Jill says she saw Phillip died.
Wrong. He left that day for Australia where he met Cane who had a terrible
childhood. He never knew his daddy and his mother was a street walker. There
is no Uncle Wiggly. Phillip was who Cane called so many times. Neil is
shocked. Cane did all this? The horror! Cane says he was so lonely. Lily
isn't understanding much of anything.
Phillip explains to Jill how he met Cane the bartender. That was when he
came up with a "plan" to bring Jill peace and help Cane at the same time. It
was, you know, a miracle because Cane got the family he never had. Cane
wants Lily to forgive him. She won't look at him. Cane adds that he never
meant to hurt anyone. He still loves Lily. They can still be a family. Lily
whines. She gave him so many chances. Why didn't he tell her that time when
she asked about his past? Storming off, Cane tries to stop Lily as Neil
butts in to tell Cane to stay away from Lily and Billy slugs Cane.
Murphy can't shut up. Katherine is his life. Things have gone haywire, he
tells Mac outside the room, as back inside Jill can't believe what's
happening, nor can Katherine believe that Phillip faked his own death when
she's done it herself.
Outside, Olivia says that Katherine must stay overnight and Mac goes off to
get some of Katherine's "stuff". Inside, more on how Phillip pulled it off.
He did what he had to do. He goes back twenty years ago to the car wreck. To
his marriage to Nina; a woman his mother despised and then Nina got knocked
up. Lost, Phillip had to do something. So he killed himself, well, sort of.
Jill can't believe Phillip was that unhappy. If only she'd have known.
Phillip says when he "woke up" in the hospital he made "arrangements" which
included an in trouble financially ambulance attendant. A deal was hatched
and the rest is history. Yeah, but what about the agony he inflicted? No
problem, he was a teenager. Teens know nothing of agony and grief. Katherine
gives him hell. Twenty long, long years. Nina can accept most of it except
for the part when Phillip cares nothing about his son.
Neil covers Lily up with a blanket. His "baby girl". If only he knew what to
say. In comes Devon. Lily!? Is she okay? Ca...Ca...Cane. Sob, sob.
Chloe is next to scold Cane so he explains how he got the blood and made the
switch. So why didn't he do that when it came to being the daddy of her
baby? He couldn't risk it. He really loved that baby. Billy is mad for what
Cane did to Jill and then orders Cane to leave and not come back - ever! No
tying me kangaroo down sport, Cane hops off.
Lily and Neil rehash briefly how Cane had them fooled. But Nina, she knew
the truth. What's important now is that Lily no beat herself up. Boo, boo.
She was so happy and now it's all gone. Her life so screwed up; so
delusional.
Cane is on the phone trying to determine Katherine's status. Whoever answers
the phone at the GHM says she can't give out that information, but then asks
if Cane is next of kin. Cane says no and hangs up.
Ether is sputtering how the baby Delia slept through all the commotion as
Mac appears to report Katherine will be at the GHM for a few days.
More with Nina blasting Phillip. How could he do what he did? And there she
was telling her little boy that his daddy was in Heaven with the angles.
Phillip has to explain that he was depressed; he was a drunk. Is that what
she wanted for their child? By the time he left he'd come to resent the lot
of them.
Now Chloe knows why Cane was "such an ass". Billy agrees, adding, "One less
nut in the family."
On the phone, Neil informs Olivia that Lily is just barely hanging in there.
Devon apparently left, he's back with the dog! Oh yes, this will make Lily
all better.
Katherine thanks Phillip for explaining his motivation and he leaves as Nina
whines that there they all are again sitting in a hospital room filled with
rage and guilt.

By the Pacific Powerhouse
Neil is telling Lily that
they can go get her stuff so she'll never have to see Cane again. Her
"family" will help her get through this; it's a promise from Neil.
At the God Have Mercy Medical Center, Murphy, Jill, Nina and anyone who will
listen are still shocked that Phillip has come back. Now, Jill is thinking
it's a "miracle" she always prayed for. Nina should be thankful that her son
has a father. Nina ain't buying it.
With Phillip, Cane is saying he held up his part of the bargain. Phillip
agrees that Cane was a better Phillip than he could be.
With Heather and Michael and Nick, Phyllis argues that she's a good mother.
There's no reason to take Summer away from her. Nick can't have the kid
either because he's living in sin.
In her room, Patty is talking to the stuff cat. Gotta break a few eggs (or
crack a few heads) to make an omelet.
Nina defends her position. She had to find out about Cane. Murphy interjects
to say that in time they'll adjust to what has happened as Katherine
blathers she just can't take anymore. Her bones have been rattled.
When Cane bellows at Phillip that he's a liar, Nina comes over to ask "what
are you doing here?" before telling him to leave. Enter Cane into
Katherine's room to say he's a "better man" for all that has happened and he
tells Jill that he loved being her son. Can she ever forgive him? Katherine
keeps it going by saying that Cane ruined an otherwise happy family. And
poor Lily... "Get him out!" she snaps and there's the old man to say "time
to go".
Phyllis and Nick wonder if
Heather can really take Summer away from them. Why yes, she can and she has.
Michael wants to know what the actual charge against Phyllis is. Heather's
reply is vague; it would seem she's not sure, but when has she ever had to
be sure? And where was Nick when his daughter was near death? On his way to
the GHM to see a "friend"? Would that be Sharon the slut? Why yes. Heather
adds she knows that Nick didn't mean to hurt Summer and if he'd only confess
she can get Nick the help he needs. The long and short of all this is that
Heather won't press charges, but she intends to keep the investigation
going.
Patty is coloring when the phone rings. Whoever it is, she'll be right
there.
Yikes! Phillip is at the mausoleum where Nina says they can get him a room
because Jill will want him there. Still somewhat pissed, Nina says Phillip
just popped out the grave. Um, Nina, he wasn't in a grave - remember?
Cane went to see Lily, who called him a con artist. How could he have been
so gruel? How could she have made such a mistake to marry him? How this, how
that? He went with his secret before his love. Looking for Lily, Neil calls.
"You reached Mrs. Cane Ashby. Please leave a message" and Neil does.
By the pool, Nina has questions for Phillip. How could he have done what he
did? He got a fake passport. He wanted to be dead. He "woke up" and asked
the doctor to "finish him off", the doc wouldn't do it, but did go along
with helping him escape and signed the death certificate. There was even a
cop who helped him get out of the country. Knowing better to say what a pile
of crap that is, or to ask who the doctor was, Nina goes back to how much it
hurt the family.
Cane swears to Lily that everything he did he did for her! Meantime,
Katherine is sputtering, "The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away". Jill
says it's all their fault for driving Phillip away. How could she have been
so wrong? Katherine says Phillip was in "such agony", but to send Cane in
his place... the horror! Alas, Katherine loved that boy (Cane) like he was
her own and now she doesn't know if she can get past what he's done.
Nick doesn't think that what Phyllis did is enough to keep her away from
Summer. Michael will see what he can do with the family court judge. Time
for Nick to be going, except Phyllis doesn't want him to go.
At the JJ, Heather is meeting with Patty, telling her that nobody will find
out it was Patty who ratted Phyllis out. Patty adds she had to do it to
protect Summer.
Nick tells Phyllis she's not alone. He'll be by her side until Summer is
back home safe and sound. Who heard her saying those things at the hospital?
A nurse? That's nice, but will Nick be there once Summer gets home? He
hasn't thought that far ahead.
Phillip can't expect anyone to understand why he did what he did. It seems
like a good idea at the time. Cane was the perfect Phillip Chancellor. But
last year, when he heard Katherine was dead, he had to do something. Nina
wants to know what was so awful he couldn't tell anyone? That he's gay?
There's a pounding on the door at Cane's place where Lily went. It's Neil
and when he gets inside he screams at Cane "I thought I told you to stay
away from my daughter!"
At the GHM, Phyllis is stunned to learn there's a guard outside Summer's
room. Not to worry, Nick says they'll pray. Phyllis gets a call from Patty
feigning support. If Phyllis needs anything, let Patty know.
More with Katherine wondering "what on God's green earth" was Phillip
thinking? It was a time, she says, when she and Jill were "healing". It was
a time when Katherine was a drunk. "Oh dear God. It's like another death"
Katherine spews before saying she's gonna stay strong. And Jill too.
Phillip tells Nina he couldn't be honest with her because he was ashamed. He
was "acting a part". It's all about him - and the truth he's been hiding -
"I'm gay. I've always been gay."
Neil is screaming at Cane. He'll do this, he'll do that. Cane will go to
prison "for a very long time". Getting into Cane's face, Lily puts her
wedding ring in his hand and leaves with Neil.

(10 Months Without Her Edition)
At the GHM, Victor and Nikki
are by Summer's bed. Why the kid is hooked up to a ventilator nobody seems
to know. Outside, Nick and Phyllis are looking gloomy. Phyllis forgot the
kids' stuffed animals. Summer doesn't sleep well without them. Hey! She's in
a coma! Along come Daniel and Noah. Daniel got a haircut.
Patty wakes up and hugs her pussy. It's another beautiful day in the hood.
She didn't mean to hurt Summer, but Phyllis, the "man eater", gave her no
choice.
Noah and Daniel are shocked. Somebody ratted Phyllis out? Who would do that?
The arriving slut?
Nikki and Victor babble. They can't imagine what Phyllis and Nick are going
through. Oh god, try. In comes Rafe at Victor's request. The old guy wants
to talk about what happened with Adam. Rafe has a quick flashback until
Victor snaps him out of it. What about those guys in prison sticking needles
in Adam's eyes? Who were those guys? Rafe is to find those "bastards". They
will pay for what they've done.
Elsewhere, Adam is rehearsing a speech he'll give to Rafe. The sex was good,
butt it can't happen again. Wow, talk about flattering yourself.
Phyllis snaps at Sharon for not staying away as asked. Sharon wants to know
how Summer is and then Daniel hacks about somebody framing mommy dearest.
Nick tells her of Nikki and Victor having custody and out comes Rafe to tell
Noah that he's working on the papers which will free Noah of his parents.
Bummer for Nick, he was hoping Noah had forgotten all that. Bummer. He could
lose both his children.
With Victor, Noah is reminded it wasn't so long ago that he was close to
death. Noah brought goodies for Summer including some CDs. Music to sleep
by. Oh how Noah wishes Summer would open her eyes. And he brought her bunny
too!
Back with Phyllis whining that Summer can't hear her voice. Not to worry,
Nick says there are people around who love Summer. But... but... it's not
the same! Her "princess" might die.
On the phone, Victor
competes a business call as Patty appears. "What are you doing here?" he
growls.
Out for coffee, it's Nikki turn to hear Nick's whine including the part
where Jack is the daddy of Sharon's baby and how Nick so hoped that Cassie's
prediction would come true. He just doesn't know what he'll do if something
happens to Summer. Nikki told him to stop it. Have faith.
In his room, Adam opens the door for Rafe, who says he's on a mission for
Victor. According to Rafe, people should pay for their crimes. Adam isn't
much interested.
Victor told Patty to stay away from his family and was about to kick her ass
out of the hospital when she broke down saying she should have known better
than to come at such a tragic time in Victor's life.
In the chapel, Phyllis is praying when Sharon walks in.
Now Noah and Daniel and Amber are at the Jitter bitching and moaning about
the Summer situation until Noah let's the cat out of the bag. He wants to
divorce his parents. He can't take wondering where he'll be living every
other night. Daniel is against it.
Nick is reading something when Victor approaches. What's that you're
reading? A pamphlet about life in Heaven! Victor wishes he could make
everything better. Alas, he's not that powerful. Nick whines. Everything
around him is falling apart. He thought he was going to be a daddy, and that
fell through. Victor reminds him to be happy with what he does have, but
Nick can't shut the hell up about Sharon's baby belonging to another man.
Phyllis and Sharon chat. How did Sharon do it? Watching Cassie in a hospital
bed? Easy for Sharon, she didn't give up hope and Phyllis shouldn't either.
Oh lord, Phyllis recalls when she first held Summer. As Phyllis bawls,
Sharon comes around to sit beside her and hold hands.
Adam can't expect Rafe to understand what it was like in "prison". He was
harassed and beaten daily. Yeah, but what about the needles in the eyeballs?
Why isn't that in the report? Did a guard having something to do with
keeping it out? Rafe says something about Adam's story not making sense.
Something? Everything about it doesn't make sense.
Daniel advises Noah on the cost of living. Forget that, does Noah think
Summer would divorce her parents? What the hell does that have to do with
anything? Yeah, and there's the cost of cable TV, Amber adds.
Now Nikki is whining about all the things Nick has been through. Victor
talks about Adam and how he won't "tolerate any more lies" about his family.
For now he and Nikki must support their children and grandchildren.
Adam doesn't want to talk about his eyes balls especially when he's so
"happy". Just the thought of Rafe coming by turned him on. Adam's paws on
him, Rafe asks Adam, "How stupid do you think I am?"
Patty is lurking near the chapel door. Phyllis is moaning how she can't
touch Summer. Sharon says it's not a problem because Phyllis can touch
Summer with her heart!
Boring, boring, boring. Noah wonders how Daniel does it what with Phyllis
down on Amber, etc. Daniel and Amber just "seem right together", Noah says,
adding he hopes Eden and him can be the same.
Nick thanks Nikki for everything. She and Victor have "put aside their own
issues" for the sake of his "little girl." As Nikki trots off, Sharon comes
along as does Phyllis who wants Sharon to do something for her.
Adam doesn't get it. Isn't Rafe hot to trot? Doesn't Rafe know that Adam
thought he "found something" special? And now what? Rafe is rejecting him?
Okay then, get out!
More with Noah and Daniel as Noah leaves and Amber says something
unimportant.
Patty is in somebody's room talking to Kitty. Yikes! She's got Victor's
wallet and slips it under Nick and Sharon's door.
Sharon is talking to Summer. She's gonna make it. She's strong, like Cassie!
Looking through the window is Nick and Phyllis. That must have been the
favor; to have Sharon sing to Summer! Star light, star bright.
Patty returns to her room and finds Victor there! At the same time Nikki is
going up the stairs at the Ponderosa. She opens Adam's door and see Adam and
Rafe kissing!
Show #9185 -
07.09.09 - Director: Andy Lee
By the Canadian Connection
In Mary Jane’s suite, she demands
to know how Victor dared enter the room. Simple, he paid for it – now what
is she doing with pictures of Sharon and Phyllis? Focus on Jack Abbott and
stay away from the Newman family. Victor rips up Mary Jane’s stalker
portfolio and tells her to get out of Genoa City once and for all-you go
that.
While looking at a picture of
Nick, Sharon and Cassie, Sharon is talking to her baby and worries she made
a horrible mistake telling Jack he was the baby’s father. She remembers
seeing how much Phyllis needed Nick and realizes she definitely made the
right decision.
Jack visits Ashley at the ranch and they celebrate being able to raise their
children together. Adam listens in, unimpressed by Jack creating a new spawn
of himself. Ashley confides in Jack that her baby has been very quiet
lately, but Jack’s sure everything is fine. Ashley agrees and continues
making plans for joint birthday parties for their kids. Surprisingly they
have almost the exact same due date.
Victoria visits Summer at the hospital and tells her that Reid just learned
how to say her name. Nikki, is bursting at the seams with her secret and has
to tell someone. So Victoria learns that she saw Adam and Rafe kissing each
other.
Amber scrambles into the
jitter joint – quick turn on the radio, Kevin’s on some crazy Don Patrol
show. Jana, Kevin and Daniel listen intently as they hear Kevin’s speech
from GC High. The talk show host agrees with everything Kevin had said and
shares that he is now the most talked about local hero in Genoa City. They
give props to Kevin for taking the worst experience of his life and making
lemonade. Daniel’s attention isn’t quite focused on Kevin’s good fortune as
he thinks that Balfour’s cell is useless. He can’t access the contact list.
Kevin the hero takes matters into his own hands.
The art dealer who set Daniel up is still impressed by how well his painting
resembles the real thing. He and his accomplice talk about the past art
they’ve gotten away with stealing and agree that the plan for today is the
same as it has been every other day – get rid of Daniel Romalotti.
Ashley asks if Sharon and Jack have gotten back together and he relays that
Sharon wishes to remain independent for now. Jack wonders how things are
going around here, and Ashley insists they are great now that Estella is out
of the picture. She urges Jack to give Adam a break after everything he has
been through. Adam descends as Ashley heads upstairs for a nap. Jack and
Adam share a few snarky words and Jack admits it wouldn’t surprise him to
find out Adam was planning his revenge. Jack isn’t buying that Adam is
trying to let bygones be bygones. As if Adam could do something like that in
the condition he is in. He warns Adam to not use any of his family to get
revenge. He threatens he will lose a lot more than his eyesight if he does.
Adam and Rafe were kissing?
Can you imagine what would happen if Victor found out. They volley the
possibilities back and forth. Nikki confesses it explains a lot about Adam –
why he is always keeping people at a distance. The pressure he must be under
as Victor Newman’s son must be overwhelming. Nicholas is a prime example.
He still can’t live up to his father’s expectations.
Kevin solves Daniel’s phone issue but Amber warns him to be careful and not
to do anything before talking to Michael. Daniel’s another one with a hero
complex with his coat of invisibility and magic shield. The group listens to
Kevin’s cheesy chipmunk speech on viewclick. Balfour’s phone rings.
Mary Jane can’t possibly
leave yet, she has just gotten Jack in her crosshairs. Victor doesn’t care,
he paid for her plastic surgery and remade her so she would focus on Jack
Abbott, and she blew it. Victor has her on a flight to Brazil where she can
access her money and when she continues to resist he tells her she is
absolutely out of her mind. What is she doing with that stuffed cat anyway?
And what about the pills? Security is on the way to help her pack and get
the hell out of GC.
Daniel answers the phone, as Kevin traces the phone’s number to its address.
Daniel expects it to be a clue. It’s the art dealer but Daniel doesn’t know
it. They realize their mistake in calling Balfour and know they have to get
out of their and fast. Their goal is to leave without a trace. In their
haste, they drop a clue.
Victoria and Nikki wonder if Adam is using Rafe because of his involvement
in Estella’s case. This is something they cannot keep from Victor.
As Victor approaches, they are united in their quest to be there for Summer.
Heather walks in and Nikki sees this as opportunity to ask Heather her
professional opinion about a case where the defendant’s lawyer may be
romantically involved with one of the other suspects. Heather is skeptical
at first but Nikki allays any concerns and she proceeds to answer her.
Naturally, as a lawyer and officer of the court herself, Heather would
report it to the court.
Victoria reads Summer, “Jacqueline and the Bean Stock”, a twist of the
modern fairy tale she thought Summer would love. Victoria heads out for a
meeting with an art dealer to buy some of the artworks he sold off.
Jack’s in an important business meeting and is interrupted by Mary Jane who
needs to talk to him - urgently. She has to leave town, something personal
has come up but she had to talk to him before she left. This is unavoidable
and she doesn’t know when she’ll be back. She confesses she is madly in love
with him. Jack is befuddled and speechless, he doesn’t know what to say. He
is flattered but cannot return the sentiment. He starts with the platitudes.
Mary Jane gets it, he used her for pleasure and now he is throwing her away.
Jack is sorry and reminds her that Sharon is carrying his child. He was
clear from the start, he didn’t want this to be anything more than a fling.
Jack is left standing there with that gaping open mouth stunned look. Mary
Jane then storms out as Sharon heads down the stairs.
Ashley comes down from her nap and asks Adam if he minds if he names her
baby after his mother, Hope. So we have a Faith and a Hope but no Charity
yet. She also confesses that she hasn’t felt the baby kick for quite a
while now, should she be worried.
Daniel, latex gloves in
hand, enters the address Kevin found. Amber trails behind, though not as
clever to think to bring gloves with her. She does however notice that there
is still ice in the drink left on the desk – they must’ve just left. She
lifts the glass and he admonishes her to wipe away her fingerprints. He
finds a flashdrive which he can look at later. Then, she finds the paper
that was left behind; could this be their big lead?
Back at the jitter joint, Jana really thinks Kevin should give his speech a
chance. He could share his story professionally. Just then, a crazed pair of
teenagers comes in and recognizes Kevin as the silver chipmunk. They came
bearing fundraised money from the “Crazy Chipmunk Club” at the University so
he can keep spreading the word to stand up to your inner chipmunk. Jana
wants to return the money but Kevin needs to help people not take advantage
of them. Jana tells him greed is only going to lead to more problems.
Jack tells Sharon that she was right as she walks into the restaurant at the
AC; Mary Jane was much more attached than he had originally thought. He only
has eyes for her though!
Nikki checks on Victor and Summer and they discuss their past miracles and
how lucky they have been despite everything. They wonder why Victoria has
been moody lately. Then Nikki tries to tell Victor about her trip to the
ranch. There is something he needs to know.
Adam wonders if Ashley
told the doctor her concerns about the baby, she didn’t – she was afraid to.
Though Adam tries to comfort her, she accuses him of being patronizing and
argues the only way she will be ok is if she seems a sonogram for herself.
Adam will make the call right away.
Back at the hospital, as Nikki tries to spill the beans about Adam, Victor
receives an urgent call that the security guards had lost Mary Jane. What
the hell happened that you don’t know where she is? Find her dammit!
Crawling through the
bushes with horses whinnying in the background, Mary Jane and Kitty (in her
own little pink pet carrier) set up camp behind a barn. She will not give up
and they will never get rid of her.
Jack and Sharon discuss their relationship at the AC. Jack is positive that
if it’s meant to be they will be back together some day. Sharon insists that
the timing isn’t right for them.
As the maid is making Sharon’s bed, she finds Victor’s wallet.
The paper left behind by the criminals is a picture of the painting but
Daniel cannot tell if it’s the real one or the forgery. As they continue to
look for clues, Amber finds a book of matches from “The Lair on the Sunset
Strip” and carefully tucks them away before Daniel notices.
Victoria heads into the Athletic club to meet with her art dealer, Mr.
Sharp. They agree it’s a pleasure to finally meet and he insists she call
him Deacon.

By the Pacific Powerhouse
At the Jitter Joint, Amber
is talking with Jana about Daniel and the painting and the dumb-ass things
they're doing. Thank god, Daniel didn't get caught. They got a book of
matches and some photos which Daniel is trying to look at on the computer.
In the meantime, Amber wants Jana to be quiet about the matches because
they're from a club in L.A. where she met some creep named Deacon who tried
to control her. A flashback to old Bold and Beautiful days just when Amber
thought Deacon was out of her life forever.
Elsewhere, Victoria is thanking some dude (Deacon) for coming to Genoa City.
No problem, he was in the neighborhood and new to the art world. He's got a
piece of work he's trying to unload for a friend.
At the tackyhouse, Nick and Nikki and Phyllis are trying to hang in there;
being strong while their little girl is laying in "some hospital bed". Hey,
not some - it's the God Have Mercy Medical Center where right now Victor is
talking to a comatose Summer. Gosh, where's his wallet? In the car? Oh well,
Summer is his granddaughter; she's strong and shall not give up.
Heather stopped by to see Adam and tell him to get out in the sun more.
Ring-ring. It's Adam's phone. Heather looks at the Caller-ID. Rafe? Adam
wants her to forget about Rafe. Focus on having sex. Let me unzip you. And
who's looking in a second-floor window? Patty!
Phyllis can't stand the stress. She's happy that Nick and Victor stepped up,
but she should be with her daughter. She'd even die. Nikki agrees and Nick
says Phyllis is "amazing". Then it's on to who could have set Phyllis up.
Paul there too, he wonders if there's something strange about Patty. Phyllis
says it's time to find out.
Victor is on the phone. Find Patty and contain here. Pull her out of the
tree because now Heather and Adam have changed rooms and Heather leaves. And
there's Patty outside the living room window. Gosh, did somebody forget
Adam's room is on the 2nd floor? Spotting Patty, Adam tries to catch her but
trips and falls.
Amber goes on about fighting
Deacon over custody of her child. Jana is aghast. A baby? Tell me more!
Yeah, the baby was taken away from Amber and she was totally, like totally
blown away. Who knows, perhaps Deacon back in her life is a coincidence.
Victoria blabs about trying to help the authorities when things went bad and
she's trying to restore Sabrina's art memory. The dude knows of Sabrina and
other bad things, but that Victoria was one "brave" woman to put her life in
danger. Not to worry, the dude can be discreet and he got burned too by an
art day gone wrong.
Out in the barn, Adam asks "who's there" when he see Patty. Who are you they
each ask. He tells that he's a mostly blind man, and she says she's there to
see Victor, who Adam says he and Victor don't exactly see eye-to-eye - so to
speak. Patty tells her tale complete with water works and the part about
Jack who she claims to love. Adam knows about Jack. Maybe he and Mary Jane
should work together.
After another call, Victor tells Paul how Summer is doing. Paul offers to
sit while Victor goes to visit Katherine. Paul adds he may have a clue
leading him to Mary Jane. Victor will be damned. That's the woman J.T. found
"crawling" around the ranch. Paul goes on about Patty's mood swings until
Victor requests that he be left to "handle" MJ. Paul is taken aback because
this is "what I do for a living".
Nick and company are asking hotel management about Patty and don't mind if
they look around MJ's room. Nothing to be found. Oh, there must be
something. Look under the sofa. Yes! Is it a pussy? Nope, a photo of Summer.
Must get to Heather Stevens pronto!
Adam and MJ are in the house now. Everyone is gone; the servants, gardener,
security, etc. Let Adam help MJ. He won't let her leave in her present state
of mind which is to say she's whining about being tossed away like an old
shoe.
Back at GHM, Nikki blows in to check on Summer. Victor wants to know what
everyone is doing pertaining to MJ. At the same time, Nick and Phyllis and
Paul are confronting Heather who can't talk about an on-going investigation.
Will a photo purported to have come from MJ's room change her tune?
Daniel is ready. He broke
the national security codes - or something. Amber is impressed. Jana is
asked if the art photo is real or fake. She'll have to study it more. They
could always ask Victoria, who Jana says has a "sixth sense" about such
things.
More with Victoria and Deacon; how he got ripped off for $250,000. He bought
the fake; felt like a complete fool once he realized he'd been had. And here
all he wanted was to return the painting to a museum. He is hypnotized by
art. All of a sudden Victoria says the art piece in question is one she's
been coveting. Give her a few days and she'll make him an offer.
Heather reports there's no credit card activity on Mary Jane, who is with
Adam holding a bag (carry on luggage) when there's a knock at the door. MJ/Patty
hides as Adam opens the door. It's security! There's been a breach! No. You
must be kidding. With all the people coming and going and looking in 2nd
floor windows? Lock the doors! Bye.
Jana wants Amber to tell Daniel the truth. Amber can't do it. Ah. C'mon.
Daniel loves Amber. No! Daniel can never find out about Daniel, who at the
moment is being introduced to - Deacon!
Phyllis rattles off her tale of woe. Mary Jane was behind the cookies! And
here Phyllis trusted MJ when she didn't even know her. At that moment
someone calls out "Ma Ma. Ma Ma." It's a freaking miracle! It sounds like
one of those dolls you pull the string and it talks. All alone, Summer has
taken off oxygen mask and talking - well - if you can call it talking.
At the AC, Amber sees Deacon and Daniel and Victoria. Daniel has to snap
Amber back to reality before introducing her to Deacon. Small world, ain't
it? That's Deacon's cue to leave.
Ma Ma! A doctor is looking into Summer's eyes as Phyllis calls her "Super
Girl". The doctor will do more tests to see if there's been any brain
damage. The kid will be disoriented for awhile - nothing new there. Nick
assures the kid that everything will be okay.
Paul gets the good news from Nikki and then gives her the good news that
Heather has called off the investigation. Phyllis is in the clear. Nick
slithers over to say that if MJ is responsible there will be hell to pay.
Not to worry, Paul wants to check it out except that Victor asked him not
too. But if Nick thinks otherwise, Paul will do it and that's what Nick
wants and so Paul is off.
Adam wants MJ to tell him more. She can hide on the property. Go outside.
Follow the path on the left. Here are the keys to the potting shed. This
could be the start of a blooming relationship.
