Here we go. More with the Loon
Platoon.
Junior loon Noah is yapping about grandpa Victor
messing with a lot of lives including Ashley. Not
Billy is pissed so Victor better watch out.
Meantime, Jack is reminding Billy that Ashley is not
well and for Billy to make a scene before the Press
and the board of directors and the world wasn't
cool. Billy is therefore ordered not to cause any
more stress for the ill one.
Speaking of Ashley, she's drifting around at the
Ponderosa. Victor wants her to drink something, but
all she can do is give him hell for getting Colleen
off the board. Then she goes off calling for Zapato.
At the same time, Patty is looking for her pussy.
She can't lose track of it.
Nick has a big smile on his face. He and Phyllis are
on their honeymoon. Phyllis has taken the day off.
And he's going to see Sharon who is at the AC, her
belly looking very big now. She's on the phone to
her mother, BoreUs. And in comes Nick. Sharon tells
of going to prenatal classes and she's in a rush to
leave when Nick says that he and Phyllis renewed
their vows and this time they're real. Sharon thinks
that's just the greatest news, and that Nick is
where he belong; with his family. She's happy for
him. Nick agrees. It's best he stay with family B.
And what about Jack and Sharon? Over? What?
Jack catches up with Phyllis and he gets the good
news too. He thinks it's great! She must be walking
on air. She is. Golly, how did it happen? Nick just
asked her to marry him again and so what could she
do? Jack is excited. He wants only what's best for
Phyllis. Phyllis is then surprised to learn that
Jack and Sharon are no longer. Jack says it suits
him just fine.
Billy arrives at the ranch to check on his sister.
Victor runs interference, tell Billy to leave and
not come back. Go now! J.T. is not here to save him.
Billy blathers on about Ashley not being well, like
he's cared all these weeks. Victor orders him again
to leave or he won't be responsible for what
happens.
Patty hears Ashley calling Zapato and it's very
close to the potty house so close that Zapato gets
the pussy's tail in his mouth until Patty pulls
pussy away and starts petting it.
Noah goes on and on with Nikki about grandpa and how
tense things must be between Nikki and him. Not
really, Nikki is going out there later because she
and Victor have a lot of "history". She understands
though that Noah might be "cynical", like Noah knows
what the word means.
Billy sneers at Victor. Ashley deserves to know
who's jerking her chain and Victor can believe that
Billy and Jack will tell her the truth one day.
Victor calls both Billy and Jack "spineless jelly
fish".
Jack informs Phyllis that Nick is lucky to have her.
She should therefore focus on Nick and not her
paranoia. It is, after all, Phyllis' turn to be
happy and he wants her to be happy for both of them.
Nick tells Sharon that Jack is dying to be a daddy.
Nope, she can't do it; can't give Jack the love he
deserves; doesn't need Nick helping her. She's a big
girl, independent and all that.
Phyllis wants to be sure that Jack is gonna be okay.
Just wait until he sees his baby. His life will
change! If only she knew. Back with Nick, he goes on
an on about not wanting to make things worst for
her. He and Sharon are "friends"; Noah's parents.
Nick adds Jack will make "an awesome dad" and with
that Nick is gone.
Ashley is sitting on a bench allowing Zapato to run
free as she has a flashback to seeing Sabrina
yesterday. Along comes Nikki to ask how Ashley is
holding up now that word about spread about what
happened at the board meeting, which Ashley says is
none of Nikki's business. And along comes Abby to
say she's on her way to see the new yearling.
At Mac's Bar, Jack finds Billy getting wasted. Jack
orders a scotch with beer chaser. He's had a bad
day. He's not "worthy" of Sharon's love and his days
of playing the doormat are over.
Back with Phyllis, Nick joins her in a video game as
back in town Sharon runs into Noah, who tells her of
the renewed wedding vows, and the "statement" they
made to each other. Sharon already knows, and
assures Noah that he's going to make a great brother
to her baby just like he is to Summer. Sharon has a
flashback to better days when she and Nick purchased
the Jitter Joint and it was, for awhile, a "club for
all ages at night".
Back with Ashley and Abby and whether Ashley is sure
of Victor's love. Yeah, but doesn't Victor wait on
Ashley hand and foot? Doesn't he work from home just
to be with her? Up at the main house, Nikki tells
Victor of running into Ashley, who Victor says took
Zapato for a walk. Nikki surmises that Ashley didn't
seem her self. Is everything okay? Did the board
meeting have a bad effect? C'mon, you old fart, talk
to me. Victor doesn't want to.
Nick and Phyllis still playing games. She beat him
again. So, how did it go with Sharon? She sends her
best!? And what about Jack? He came by to cry? Yeah.
Okay then, let's play some more as we talk about how
good things are going to be for all concerned.
At the bar, Patty spies Billy and Jack. Her back to
them, she hears Jack whine and Billy order another
round. While Jack was on the phone, Patty pulls out
a prescription bottle and spikes Jack's drink since
the bartender was nice enough to leave the bottle on
the counter next to the glass with ice in it.
Sharon is having another flashback before leaving
the JJ, as back with Phyllis and Nick they hear
Summer babbling over the baby monitor. The kid
sounds drunk; trying to sing.
Up with Victor, Nikki promises not to say a word if
Victor opens up to her. He doesn't want to talk as
just then Ashley and Abby return. Ashley goes
upstairs with Abby in tow.
Jack goes on and on to Billy about how Sharon done
him wrong. Time for that other drink, Jack gulps it
down as Patty watches on.

More misadventures of the Loon
Platoon.
How long until a drunk on his ass Jack has sex with
Patty who apparently found a second floor window
unlocked and climbed the beanstalk to get in? Billy
and Jack still at Mac's bar, he's slurring his words
and Billy thinks it time to take him home.
Meantime, Katherine has come along for a meeting
with Nikki and Mac is there to welcome granny. They
remark about Nikki marrying someone other than
Victor as at the AC Paul is telling Nikki it won't
be long now. Less than 48-hours, they'll be man and
cow, um, wife.
Also at the AC, Michael and Lauren are talking about
all charges against Daniel being dropped and then
they can focus on the evil Amber. At the same time,
Daniel is at his crib asking if Amber needs help
moving her crap. Nope, she can do just fine by
herself.
Chloe at the mausoleum with Chance, who is on the
phone talking about loving to do something. Chloe
thinks it's someone hitting on him. He says not, but
would love to tell her if she's got a minute.
At the mansion, Billy pours Jack into the sofa and
leaves. And presto! There's Patty, who crawled
through the doggy door and through his glazed eyes
Jack thinks is Sharon.
Amber hands over the key, then bawls she can't
believe they're breaking up. He says it's her fault
for sleeping with Demon.
More with Katherine asking Mac about Jack/Billy
leaving and Mac doesn't know much because she only
now showed up for her "shift" at the bar. So, what
is it Katherine is beating around the bush about?
That Mac is doing Billy when he's got a baby with
Chloe?
Chance claims to have been an MP in the Army?
Strange, didn't he say before he was a SEAL of some
kind? Chance can't understand why Billy wouldn't
want to be living there with his baby and such a hot
babe as Chloe. Jill blows in complaining that Billy
threw her to the wolves.
Amber can't stop bawling. Daniel throws her criminal
record in her face! She should have slapped him
right then and there; the little creep with his
extensive criminal record. Ah, but he can't trust
her and leaves Amber bawling.
Katherine is concerned about what will happen to Mac
when Billy does her wrong, and he will.
Billy is at the mausoleum too, as
Jill snivels about Victor wanting her head. Jill
wallows; Victor will make sure she never works
again. Billy says she can always go back to what she
does best; sleeping with old men. What a thing to
tell your mother.
Jack calls out Sharon's name. He would know that
smell anywhere! The towel on Patty's head, she's got
Sharon's robe on too.
Paul runs into Lauren, who says that Nikki is one
lucky woman. Paul says Victor is a good guy despite
that he and Nikki have "history" and Nikki will
always be in love with the old fart. Still, Paul
considers himself something better.
Katherine moved on over to the Jitter Joint where
she found a sad-looking, preoccupied Nikki who tells
of having seen the not seeming like her self Ashley,
who Nikki fears could cause trouble. Nikki reminds
Katherine that she found a good man, so shouldn't
she have one too? Yeah, but Katherine doesn't love
another man at the same time. If Katherine doesn't
watch her mouth Nikki won't ask her to be maid of
dishonor.
Also there, Kevin wonders if Jana would sleep with
someone to get him off the hook. Well, depends on
what Kevin did. In come Amber with her worldly
possessions in a box. She'll be crashing in the back
room! Jana assures Amber that Daniel will come
around in time.
Bad news, Michael arrives at Daniel's crib to inform
him that the D.A. is going forward with his case and
Daniel isn't pleased. So, where is Amber? Sorry to
say, Amber doesn't live here anymore.
Chance gave Billy hell for talking to his mother
like that.
Jack is naked! He calls out for Sharon, then finds a
note (with the pussy's tail) which reads "I knew you
were still in love with me". Jack flashes back.
At Mac's bar, Patty is telling Mac of having
reconciled with her husband. Mac calls Billy, and
leaves a message that there's something "weird"
about that homeless woman. More later when Billy
returns.
Jill falls to her knees in front
of Billy. She's so sorry. Please forgive her? She
would give anything for his forgiveness except,
maybe not because that would give Billy an excuse
for his failures. The baby crying changes the
subject as Chloe steps in, but Billy won't budge. He
blames Jill for accepting Cane as her son.
Michael cautions Daniel not to beat on Demon as it
would add to his list of crimes. So what that Amber
slept with Demon? At the same time, Kevin and Jana
urge Amber to go to their place where she can take a
bubble bath. Then Lauren comes along to talk about
Amber's designs - or something - and when Amber
whines that her life is in turmoil Lauren says she
may be able to help her with that.
Katherine returns and jumps down Billy's throat for
saying what he did to Jill. Not that she's too
bothered, Katherine added she has Billy's best
interest at heart. Now, Chance is having remorse. He
shouldn't have said anything; it couldn't have been
fun for Chloe. Not that she's upset, she does wonder
what Billy would be like if he had the same
opportunities Chance and Cane have had.
Alone in his crib, Daniel is flashing back to
happier days with Amber.
Lauren's fix is for Amber to move into the Baldwin
condom and - drum roll - camp out in his "home
office". Then she goes over to wish Nikki the best
with Paul. Nikki makes a call. She'll stop by and
get her wedding ring. Paul is on the phone too. Yes!
He's not to busy to pick up brother Todd at the
airport. Now, if only he had a lead on Patty.
Another call. Jack calling with the news. "You
wouldn't believe me if I told you, Paul".
With pregnancy tests in her hand, Patty disappears
when Billy arrives. This gives Mac a chance to tell
Billy that Chloe will find out about then sooner or
later. Billy isn't worries because, as he says,
Chloe is obsessed with him.
Meantime, Chance is making a wish as Jill comes in
to ask if he's okay. Katherine returns too and they
talk about Cane and their collective misery. If only
they could turn back the hands of time. Jill turns
on the waterworks. How tragic it all is, and now
Katherine is saying she didn't care about Phillip II
that much? Oh, the humanity!

Heather
The soon to be married
couple are meeting and finishing up the final plans for the big day
tomorrow. Paul leaves with his instructions for the day. As always,
something is bound to go wrong. Right on cue, Victor enters to wish his ex
all the best. He asks her if she is ready for this. She evades his question
by answering with the usual platitudes about Paul being a very good man who
will not hurt her. With his usual arrogance, he asserts that she is marrying
him because he is safe. Paul loves her way more than she does him and isn't
that just a pity for both.
Meanwhile Ashley is at the ranch determined to take Zapato for a walk.
Before she can make it out the door, Adam tries to befriend her by telling
her he is sure there is nothing wrong with her. He offers her his support
and comfort. What would she do without him?
Victoria is with Nick at the tack house appearing to be working. The topic
of discussion is marriages. While Vikki is happy that Nick and Phyllis
renewed their vows she is cool to the idea of her and JT doing the same.
Nick learns that all is not well in the Hellstrom household. However,
Victoria can handle it. JT walks in to drop off some photos. JT and Nick
rehash what happened at Newman. To Victoria's dismay, JT doesn't see himself
as a suit which further alienates the couple.
Jack's at home giving Paul the news that things are worse than Paul could
imagine. He blurts out that he slept with Mary Jane.
As Jack is recounting his tale of horror to Paul, Mary Jane is on the ranch
property reliving the horror of learning Kitty's fate at the hands of "that
horrible beast" that must be punished.
The horror continues as Ashley is frantically looking for Zapato. At first,
Victor doesn't understand her concern and is sure the dog will return home.
JT doesn't think returning to Newman is an option. Victoria offers a feeble
attempt at connecting with JT by telling him she'll see him at the church.
Nick finds her cold and tells her he admires JT for what he is doing…getting
out of the sphere of TGVN.
Father Todd tells Nikki it is a long walk down that aisle as Nikki inspects
the church. They go down memory lane revisiting when Paul and Nikki first
met. He found an old photo of her and Paul and he gives it to her. This
unleashes long forgotten memories of them as a couple decades earlier. Even
then he told her he would never let her down. The comfort of the memories
evaporates as the haunting words from earlier with Victor repeat in her
mind.
Still at the church, Nikki is reliving many memories. Some are from Paul and
others from Victor. She doesn't know where they are coming from.
Paul can't believe Jack's questionable judgment. They consider that she
spiked his drink. There is nothing that can be put past Mary Jane. He goes
on to show Paul Kitty's tail, the one she graciously included with her note.
The anxiety level is increasing as they can't find Zapato. Victor decides to
take action as he is getting impatient. He steps out the door and finds the
dog flat out on the ground. For now he attributes that repose to fatigue.
Nikki continues her memories/nightmares. These include mostly her marriage
ceremonies to Victor, in the church and in the hospital and again in the
church. Her dreams are interrupted by her daughter. She admits she was
daydreaming of how many times she has walked down the aisle. Vicki wonders
if her mother is having doubts.
The vet needs to get Zapato to the clinic since he has been exposed to a
toxin and she doesn't know which one it is. The doc will know the answer to
Vic's question as to whether this could have been an intentional poisoning
once she has done the blood work. Paul is on the phone from the jitter joint
to Vic updating him that MJ has resurfaced. The moustache is upset and wants
to discuss things further with Paul. The detective declines since he has
other commitments and has assigned JT to be in charge during his absence. No
invite is extended to JT though.
JT has been sitting at the coffee house with Paul while he was on the phone
with his FIL. Paul offers JT his job back by presenting him a business card
with "Williams and Helstrom" on it. He wants it to be a partnership.
Victoria is reassuring her mother that everyone gets cold feet. Nikki
relates her run in with Victor from earlier. She then thanks her wise
daughter for the advice. Not so fast. She doesn't know what to do with her
own marriage to JT, but intends to focus on the good. She leaves Nikki to
her memories, again most of them with Victor in happier times. There's even
a snippit of puppy Zapato being named after he has eaten Nikki's shoes.
Back at the ranch the vet is confirming the heart breaking news that Zapato
is dead. They( we ) are all devastated….sooo sad!!
On a happier note, JT agrees immediately to the partnership with Paul. They
shake on it and Paul invites JT to start on their first case. Paul updates
JT about Mary Jane, and he is kicking himself for not following his
instincts when he found her on the ranch.
Jack finds his way to the church. He hopes she and Paul will be truly happy.
She wishes the same for him and Sharon. Back down memory lane they wonder
how things would have turned out without their still born baby. That was one
of many reasons they didn't make it. Nikki thanks Jack for everything. He
encourages her to do the right thing by walking away from the moustache.
Now the bad memories flood in too. She tells Victor he is sick and obsessed
having to win at all costs. He continues to insult her throughout these
flashbacks. His cold and detached treatment of Nikki is what she remembers.
Ashley is berating herself for her choices. Victor reassures her that it is
not her fault. He advises her to get some rest and she agrees. Victor
confides in Adam that MJ, the psycho, is back in town. Too little too late,
Vic is going to step up security around the ranch.
Jack has found his way to Junior and Vic at the ranch. As he enters he hears
Victor upping the security. He just missed the gauntlet falling but
understands since he has already taken the same action at his place. Jack
wants to talk to Victor, not Ashley. During their chat, Victor relays what
happened with Zapato, the lunatic's calling card. Jack thinks Ashley should
know about MJ's return but Victor is insistent that she be kept in the dark.
Nick is looking for his sister at the church but finds his mom instead. He
gives her something to look forward to by describing how Summer will look as
tomorrow's flower girl. Leaving details to the last minute, Nikki asks Nick
to walk her down the aisle. Of course, he is thrilled. Nick is called away
to help his sister unload the car, but before he goes, he gives Paul his
seal of approval.
Again, Nikki has memories. This time it's a different knight in shining
armor in that it's Paul. She remembers their time together at 17, from their
first meeting to his proposal to her acceptance.
Vikki is getting the good news from JT. She wishes she had been included in
the decision. Father Todd and Paul join them. Father Todd is going to run
the rehearsal.
Jack invites Ashley home to be where it is safe. She declines. He will be
there for her in a flash if she needs him. On one thing Victor and Jack can
agree. They will each apprise the other if either sees or hears from the
psycho.
Said psycho is leaving flowers and a note at the Abbott Mansion door. Jack
can look forward to a repeat visit. Guess his security isn't all it is
cracked up to be either.
Paul has found his fiancée sitting in the pews. He has waited a long time
for this and wonders if she is as nervous as he is. He has her wedding gift,
a necklace which includes an ice cream cone. It's so sweet, and defines
their long journey. They will be together forever this time. She can't wait
to take those final steps of the journey.
Show #9205 -

Dean LaMont
By Heather
At the church, Katharine apologizes to Nikki for
throwing the bouquet at her wedding since the
tradition obviously holds true. Introductions are
made and Victoria notices Nikki’s ice cream cone
pendant. They all agree that it’s stunning. The
rehearsal ceremony gets started despite Phyllis and
Summer’s absence. Nikki confides in Nick as he walks
her down the “practice” aisle that she actually has
butterflies this time around – Nick assures her
that’s perfectly normal because it means she will
live happily ever after.
Phyllis is at the jitter joint on the phone with the
sitter as Sharon walks in. They share an oh so
awkward moment of small talk, that is until Sharon
notices Phyllis' ring. It’s beautiful isn’t it? Nick
got it from that store on 10th when
they renewed their vows. Though Phyllis was enjoying
catching up without all the drama she apologizes that
she has to run or she will be late for the rehearsal
dinner.
At the ranch, Ashley tells Victor that she is way
too wound up to even consider sleeping right now.
Victor tries to comfort her and offers to talk about
what happened before – but Ashley is not interested.
She will never forget the way he manipulated her
behind her back. If it wasn’t for their unborn child
she would’ve walked out on him and on their
relationship all together. Victor completely ignores
what she says and offers her something to eat.
Typical.
Lily arrives home with the assistance of Tyra and
Neil and Humphrey immediately joins her on the
couch, he must’ve really missed her. Neil has
stocked the fridge with her favorite foods, bought
all her favorite magazines, but is there anything
else she needs? Yes, to see Cane. Neil is not
thrilled with the idea but Lily doesn’t care. She
stands her ground and asks for the phone.
Back at the church, Phyllis arrives and tells Nick
that Summer is fine. It’s her first night away from
both Nick and Phyllis since getting out of the
hospital, so she has been calling the sitter
non-stop. Victoria wonders if Reid is out for the
night, but Phyllis tells her he is sharing ice cream
with Summer since they are staring up late tonight.
Didn’t JT tell her he gave the go ahead? Victoria
plays it off as though she forgot. As this is taking
place, Paul and Nikki practice their ‘you may now
kiss the bride’ scene. Paul whispers he cannot wait
until she is Mrs. Paul Williams and in Nikki’s
uncertainty she offers a smile, sort of.
Ashley thanks Victor for the food but she isn’t
ready to talk. She tells him it’s been a horrible
day for both of them and she just wants to go to …
Victor knows something is wrong when Ashely doesn't
finish the sentence. He may not know it, but hallucination
Sabrina is standing right beside Ashley paying her
respects to Zapato, though she is not surprised –
the ranch is a deathtrap!
Cane arrives at Neil’s to tell Lily she looks
beautiful despite everything she has been through
and Tyra and Neil decide to give them some time
alone.
At the AC the crew starts the rehearsal dinner. Nikki notices that
the clouds are very dark and Murphy confesses that the weather report says
its supposed to rain that night and all day tomorrow. Paul assures them that
rain on the wedding day means good luck, but JT corrects him because it
actually means bad luck. Katharine saves the moment by telling them that
everyone makes their own luck and Phyllis agrees shouting “Let it pour”.
Sharon listens in at a table in the distance.
Cane is happy to hear
Lily feels good considering everything. She asks him why he didn’t visit
her when she got out of surgery, she was worried he had changed his mind
about sticking around and that he left town. That’s not it, he just wanted
to respect Neil and Devon’s space and keep stress to a minimum. There’s a
knock at the door – it’s a gift basket Cane had sent over for Lily.
At the JJ, Neil is upset to have found out that Tyra had been in contact
with Cane post Lily’s operation. Tyra figured he deserved to know what was
going on after convincing Lily to have the surgery but Neil argues that
wasn’t Tyra’s decision to make. Cane can in no way help Lily heal and fight
this disease where the odds are against her.
Ashley is still shaken up by Sabrina and Victor offers her some tea. As he
leaves, Sabrina returns and tells Ashley she knows a secret about her baby.
Nick makes a toast at dinner. His words touch everyone at the table,
especially Victoria and JT. Sharon leaves.
As people begin to
disperse, Heather tells Paul that she has never seen him so happy and though
she and Nikki don’t always get along, Paul’s happiness is all that matters.
Paul thanks her for her blessing and walks her out.
Katharine admits she was wrong when she told Nikki she was still clinging to
Victor. After talking to Jill and Phillip III she has realized she was only
in love with the idea of Phillip being the love of her life and that maybe
Phillip wasn’t actually her soul mate. Now that she has Murphy it feels like
she is where she is supposed to be and with whom she is supposed
to be. She understands now what Nikki was talking about with Paul.
As the last guest leaves, Victoria confronts JT about his decision to let
Reid stay up.
Neil knows Tyra means well, but he wishes she had stayed away from Cane.
Neil thinks Tyra tries too hard to help out, after all she really didn’t
need to come to the hospital to pick up Lily. He was more than capable to do
it himself. Tyra then confronts him; she heard Neil talking to Drucilla
at the hospital. She
reminds him that Dru is gone and that she is here. So what’s her point? Neil
doesn’t have the energy at this point in time to figure out what’s going on
with their relationship.
As Lily goes through the gift basket she is
shocked that Cane knew she was craving strawberry tarts but she wonders what
all the other gifts are for? Cane tells Lily he did research online to
find all the things people have been using to get through chemotherapy.
Everything she might need, he got her. It’s a very sweet and touching moment
as Cane explains what everything is for. Among some of the gifts were ginger
and peppermint for her nausea (and her sweet tooth), hand sanitizer to help
her immune system and a lint roller so that when her hair falls out it
doesn’t fall in her eyes.
Back at home, Phyllis tells Nick about her run in with Sharon. She deems it
a success since nobody had to call the cops. Nick says that sounds pretty
boring, but Phyllis assures him that boring is something they will never be
and the passion ignites.
Sharon is at the jewelry store on 10th, where Phyllis had told
her earlier she had picked out her ring. She asks the clerk to see one.
Nikki forgot her list at the church, but before she goes to find it Paul
shares his true feelings. Trusting someone after David and loving someone
after Victor makes him very glad she chose him.
Sabrina eggs Ashley on, how can Victor say he loves her when he stabbed her
and her family in the back? It provokes Ashley to ask him if she will always
just be a consolation prize to him. Victor has loved Ashley for years, but
that doesn’t matter to her – he has loved Nikki for years too, and Sabrina
for a brief period. Saying I love you are just words. How can she know how
he really feels?
Nick and Phyllis get hot and heavy; Sharon tries on a ring; Tyra walks out
on Neil; Cane and Lily cuddle with Humphrey; Murphy and Katharine share a
moment; Victoria and JT sit at the dinner table, an empty spot between them;
Victor attempts to console Ashley and Nikki calls off the wedding.

Sally McDonald
By
Heather
She’s baaack! Klepto Sharon is at it again. Caught
in a daze and influx of emotions caused by
flashbacks to her albatross Nick, Sharon takes off
from the jewelry store-ring in hand. Even the sound
of the salesclerk yelling at her to stop doesn’t
bring her back to reality. What next?
Vicki visits the tack
house to pick up Reid. A storm is brewing outside as she and Nick hunker
down and share a brew. They celebrate the future for Paul and Nikki. Vikki
relays that JT’s parents have been married for 35 years. Imagine. While it’s
nice and does happen, it doesn’t to either of them or their parents.
Ash continues down the
depressing path which leads her to ask Vic what he means when he says he
loves her. Is there any doubt what he means? Prompted by visions of
Sabrina, she lashes out at him for being so cruel to Colleen. His defense?
It was business. BS…She calls him on it and emphatically states it wasn’t
business, it was personal. You got that! How can love have any part in
manipulation, betrayal and humiliation? Those things are not for people you
love. He insists it was business and an attempt to get back at Jack. She
lays it on the table. He does these things and never thinks of the
consequences. He won’t give up on her. There has to be a way to fix this.
Paul is at the chapel
facing Nikki and asking her if this is a joke. She realizes this wouldn’t
be fair for her to marry him. She loves him. He has always been there and
has loved her unconditionally. This makes no sense to Paul. She isn’t good
enough for him. He would be settling. The news settles in as he becomes
emotional. He thinks it would be an honor to be married to her. He agrees
they should postpone the wedding if she has doubts. Paul is devastated when
she gives him back his engagement ring. She has decided to leave town to
parts unknown for an indefinite time period. She needs time to think.
Dependable to the core he tells her he will let everyone else know and
offers to give her the time she needs. He sees the futility in hoping for a
change so long as Victor is in the picture. She hands him a note she has
written as she leaves.
Vic is adamant that they
must not allow this to drive a wedge between them. He wants to discuss
things once they calm down. Ashley can’t handle any more. She
wants to forget about this horrible day so she will take a sedative and go
to bed. He tells her he will be up shortly but she wants no part of
that. It’s off to the guest room for him. As he is pouring
himself a drink he hears the front door open. Nikki has let herself in
to the ranch. Correctly, he wonders what the hell she is doing there.
A security officer drags
a bewildered Sharon back into the jewelry store. What is the problem with
her running out with the ring still on her finger? She certainly did not!
She’s aghast when he points out that she should look at her hand. The truth
doesn’t set her free though. It was an accident she claims. She starts in
with all the gory details of poor Sharon’s life as the forsaken fiancée and,
woe is me, how could he think she did this on purpose? He firmly states
that he has already called the police. She’s going to have to explain her
sob story to them.
Naive Nick tells his
sister he thinks that, with Paul, his mother has a shot at getting away from
his dad’s pull. She isn’t so sure about that. She wonders if her
mom and dad will ever be over each other. He wonders if it is the beer
talking?
Looks can be deceiving and with Nick that deception is easy. Nick says he
is sure they will get over each other. After all their mom and Paul have a
solid friendship to build from and their dad and Ashley seem solid. Looks
can be deceiving. It’s better not to know what goes on behind closed
doors. How many times have mom and dad tried to make it work and have not
been able to do it. He wants to believe they are finally with the right
ones.
Ashley tosses and turns
and is startled as “Sabrina” enters the doorway of her bedroom. The dress is
still blood stained. Downstairs, Vic is incredulous at Nikki’s nerve to
just walk in. She feels like this is still her house and he is still her
husband. He asks her if she has been drinking. As Adam listens in, she
assures him she is stone cold sober and is thinking more clearly than she
has in years. She has something to tell him, three words she has never
wanted to utter. “He was right”. She tells him she still loves him and she
has called off the wedding. She has only loved one man with her entire soul
and that man is him. On top of that, she is sure he will never love another
woman like he loves her.
Heather is at the chapel
at Paul’s request. She learns the wedding is off. He called her so they
could talk about Adam who, not surprisingly, is still listening in to the
revelations at the ranch.
Nikki doesn’t want
him to take her back. She has a taxi waiting but she takes comfort in
knowing he doesn’t wish her dead on a slab, and in remembering all the
incredible moments they have shared. He won’t forget them either.
Tonight for her is about feelings. Even though it is inconvenient or
difficult she has to say what she feels. She reveals the depths of her
feelings and the sacrifices she has made in the name of love.
He has tears in his eyes
as he hugs her good bye. She is prepared to live without him and doesn’t
want to lie anymore and pretend that they don’t love each other. She exits
the door only to learn that her taxi didn’t wait. She summons another. In
the storm she will walk out to the main road beyond the security gate to
meet the new taxi.
In another fantasy, Ash
sees Sabrina holding a baby. In the dream, Sabrina tells Ash that her baby
is gone. Sabrina is holding her own beautiful baby! Ash demands that Sabrina leave her home. Sabrina tells her this
will never be her home because she is the woman Victor loves. Ash wakes to
realize it was all a nightmare-or does she?
Victor is reliving what
transpired between him and Nikki. As the storm rages on outside, he
goes out the door and looks around.
Since Victor’s exit, Adam
has made his way completely downstairs. A frantic Ashley comes running down
the stairs searching for Victor. She grabs her purse and keys and tells
Adam she has to stop her husband before he goes back to Sabrina. Adam tries
to warn her about the storm but she is too far gone-right over the edge. He
couldn’t be happier.
Victor has found his way
to the chapel where Paul is still standing dumfounded. Nikki is still
walking in the rain through the woods on her way to the road. She flashes
back to her first meeting with Victor. It is a bittersweet memory.
Victoria relays her
marital woes to her brother. He tells her it’s simple. You have to choose
to be happy because you never know what’s in store. Marriage is tough and
you have to constantly work at it. He asks her to hit him next time her
forgets that.
The sales clerk is
willing to admit there may have been a misunderstanding until the police
officer asks Sharon is she has been at it again. He almost fell for her sad
story. He sees her as a con and wants her arrested.
Heather storms in out of
the storm with the pronouncement that Adam is gay? What the hell? She
warns him that he better not lie to her. Does he swing both ways? He wants
to know where this is coming from? She goes on to tell him Nikki gave him
up in the note she gave Paul when she called off the wedding. It hits her
that Nikki tried to warn her. She had told Heather that Adam isn’t who she
thinks he is. Rafe didn’t deny anything when Nikki told her not to trust
Adam. Adam denies it all and blames Rafe. She defends Rafe as very honest
and offers to call him to clear up the mystery. Adam then admits the
“mistake”. She doesn’t believe anything he says. Bottom line. He cheated
on her with a man!! How can she ignore that red flag? She never wants to
see him again.
Sharon offers to pay
double the price to buy the ring. Seems she can’t even buy her way out of
trouble.
Paul tells Victor he’s in on
the secret. Nikki just can’t let go of Victor. Vic doesn’t care
about any of Paul’s theories he just wants to know where Nikki went.
Paul thinks they might never see her again. With his blessing, he
sends Vic on the wild goose chase of tracking her down. Meanwhile
she’s still at the ranch waiting in the rain for the taxi.
Victor prays to God who
knows the truth. Deep in his heart Victor still loves Nikki. He can’t help
himself, he just does. At that moment, Ash is driving in the storm and
comes upon Nikki who takes on the image of Sabrina. The lights flash in
both Nikki’s and Sabrina’s faces as Ashley swerves the car.
