Show #9265 -
November 2, 2009 - Directed by: Mike Denney
At Mac's Bar, Victoria has just slapped Billy across
the face and Billy is telling Mac the story of how he got the
exclusive photos, yada, yada. Meantime, Abby and her tattooed
girlfriend are plotting to score guys while Ashley is at the Jitter
Joint asking if anyone has seen Abby.
At the Carlton home, Nick is giving Adam hell for answering Sharon's
door. Has this ever been a problem before? Summer is there looking
like a princess (with wings) and being given sugar by Sharon.
Victoria back at the office is reading the Dear Jane letter J.T. left
behind. He loves her, but something has happened and he must be going
to New York.
Victor is snarling about that bastard Jack until Nikki tells him he's
got to calm down. But that doesn't stop Victor from saying Jack better
watch his step.
Back at the bar, Daniel is yapping about journalism and what a slime
Billy is while outside Ryder is seen on the street having a flashback,
then saying he "didn't mean for it to happen", when Kevin comes along
to ask if he'd like to join the festivities? No thanks, but maybe they
could go somewhere for a drink? You mean, like a bar? Back in the bar,
Chloe and Amber recognize Abby, who asked if they'd score some drinks
for her. The ladies, not giving the girls away, say, oh sure.
Victoria is with Victor now telling him of taking care of Billy and
she's got marriage problems. Being married to "Victor Newman's
daughter" can be a bitch, she says of J.T. reasoning for leave her. No
matter. Victor wants her to remember that the only thing that matters
is family.
Phyllis is telling Nick that Summer is making "progress", but he's
daydreaming. Phyllis knows what he's thinking about. Sharon and Adam.
She asks that he "no do this to me" and can't apparently see yet that
the only reason he stayed with her is because of that kid. Nick
grumbles that Adam has ulterior motives and he doesn't want him
influencing the vulnerable Noah. Now, it's up to see daddy at the main
house.
Ashley is still looking for Abby. She's been
everywhere except where Abby is. Noah and Eden give her a clue, while
at the same time Abby and her friend are being given "witches brew".
Oh, the friend's name is Daisy, who will be a senior soon at Walnut
Grove. Chance there too, he tells the girls to leave. Back to Mac
giving Billy grief about the smear and she saying "I thought we were
building a life together."
With Nick and Adam present, Victor says he's leaving town tonight and
that Victoria is leaving for parts unknown to deal with "personal
matters". This means Nick is in charge of the empire. "You won't be
sorry," Nick licks, as Adam is told he'll be given more power so don't
be disappointing daddy.
More at the bar. Chloe is sucking around Chance, who doesn't like that
she's still sucking around Billy and he's leaving. As he goes out he
runs into Ashley. "I'm detective Chancellor. Are you looking for
someone?" Why yes, she is. Oh thank God, Chance saw two under aged
girls and sent them home. The party shut down, Mac is alone, or so she
thought. In the back there's Amber and Daniel and now they're locked
inside. Wait! Didn't J.T. install an alarm system? Maybe not.
Nikki wants Victor to go riding with her again when they come back
from Belgium. Oh yes, my sweet heart; that and much more just like
when we were young.
Billy went to Colleen's grave, where he told "See See" of having put
out an issue of USR and how everyone hates him for it, including Mac,
who he says is AWOL. And Victoria slapped him. Life sucks, and then
you die. Damn it, why won't Colleen talk to him? Seriously, he misses
Colleen.
Adam went down to the tacky room for a
chat with Phyllis. What the hell? Yeah, he wants Phyllis to keep an
eye on Nick, who he says is jealous of his, Adam's, relationship with
Sharon. Speaking of Nick, he's bitching to Sharon that Adam is nothing
like him and that Adam is evil. She has no idea who she's dealing
with. Oh no. Sharon says Adam is a very funny guy. Oh oh, this tells
Nick that Sharon "has a thing" for Adam, and she doesn't deny it.
Abby and her pal, Daisy, went to the JJ where they have a brief chat
with Noah and Eden. Spotting Abby, Jana called Ashley and presto -
Ashley is there hauling Abby away.
The lights on, Daniel fires up the junk box without putting money in
it. He and Amber dance to the tunes of Lawrence Welk. If only he could
hold her like this forever. She wants to know how they'll get out
without setting off the alarm. Well, it's not a problem if they don't
leave.
Outside the mausoleum, Chloe answers the door to a drunk Billy and
kisses him at just the moment when Chance can see.
Yikes! Victor tells Nikki that he gave the whole Ponderosa to Ashley.
Nikki can tells there's something different about the great man.
"You're not used to seeing me at peace, are you," he mumbles, assuring
her that from now on life together is gonna be good. And now she's
cooing, oh yes, it's true they can't live without each other.
Chance is devastated and turns away before seeing Chloe push Billy
away and telling him no sex for you tonight.
Phyllis shows Adam the door. Better luck next time, fool. Call before
coming next time. Not what Adam wanted to hear, Phyllis better watch
her ass.
"Adam is gay," Nick tells Sharon, as if there's something wrong with
being gay and Nick isn't queer. Sharon told him to stop it. He did,
but not before saying he'll always be there for Sharon.
At the airport, Victoria, with Reed, caught up with J.T. and told him
she so sorry.
More cooing by Nikki, she's got a gift they can take to Belgium. A new
puppy! Looks just like Zapato. What shall they call it? Secoundo.
Second chance.
Show #9266 -
November 3, 2009 - Directed by: Mike Denney
Pop quiz: With Victor and Nikki Newman on their way
to Belgium, who will watch Secoundo, Victor's new dog? Hopefully not
the same people who watched the hasn't been seen Fisher, or let Patty
Williams have free reign at the Ponderosa where she killed Zapato. Oh,
that's right. The dog is going too - Secoundo that is.
Lily and Cane are back! Not that they ever left, Lily is yammering
about Halloween, tricks and treats.
Michael and Lauren are at the Little Shop of Horrors. Sales down? Lack
of customers? He goes on about the latest mess Kevin is in and the
article Billy wrote, and damn, life sucks. Lauren knows all too well
and she says she won't support USR with her advertising. His phone
rings - it's Gloria!
Gloria and Jeff are talking too about the article and how they'll get
their money back.
At Mac's Bar, Mac came back - the next morning - not to let Amber and
Daniel out. It was no problem either that Amber and Daniel set off the
alarm when they left. Mac and Amber talk about Billy who arrives as
Amber leaves and Mac says he could have at least said hi. He could
have, but says Amber doesn't like it. What Billy wants is for Mac to
say he and Mac are doing fine. Sorry, she can't say that.
Out at the Ponderosa, Ashley is worried about Abby becoming a
delinquent and throwing away her future. Abby is off to school and
Ashley tells her to come home right after.
At the Carlton home, Noah is saying there ain't no school today, and
he's behind in his homework because of grandpa's heath problems.
At the empire, Nick is sitting behind Victor's desk. Pulling out a
photo of himself and Phyllis, he puts it on the desk and looks at the
flowers somebody sent. The card reads, "To the man of the hour. It
couldn't have happened to a nicer guy." In comes Adam as summoned and
is told to stay away from Sharon. The boys argue; Nick tells him to
shut up and follow orders and Adam insinuates that Nick better enjoy
the moment because it won't last.
Gloria went to see Michael, who gave her money to
cover a month's rent. Now Michael has seemingly changed his mind. He
won't do anything to hurt Victor. No matter, Gloria told Jeff that
things may turn out better than they could imagine.
Amber shows up at the Shop Of Horrors to cry on Lauren's shoulder. Her
jackets aren't selling and it's all because of the bad economy. No
problem, Lauren has a job opening for sales clerk and Amber takes it.
Lily, with a rag on her head, and it's not Billy's, assures Cane that
the doctor said she can have sex. A knock at the door.
Back at the bar, Billy snarls that Mac can't blame him for trying to
protect his investment. Mac says he'll do anything to make a buck. Oh
lord, in comes Sharon to tell Billy she's quitting the job she never
worked a minute at.
Abby runs into Noah and Eden at the Jitter Joint. They jibber-jabber
about going to boarding school and other teenage nonsense which is
mostly Abby putting Eden down.
Ashley pops in on Nick to assure him he's capable of running the
empire or else Victor wouldn't have left him in charge. By the way,
she hasn't received a quarterly report? She's still on the board of
directors, in case Nick forgot. Then she says she intends to "make a
difference in this company" as she slams Victor's "shameful" removal
of Colleen from the board.
Daisy Mae, Abby's new pal, is talking to Amber who brags of her new
job. Amber offers to get Daisy a job at the horror shop too and giving
her the address, says she'll call Daniel with some good news.
Sharon scolds Billy for trashing members of her family "for no good
reason". Billy says the reason was good: Victor stole Colleen's heart.
Sharon goes on to say the children, Noah in particular, will "suffer"
because of what Billy did. Billy gives her the finger as Sharon
leaves.
Devon and Roxy came to visit Lily and Cane. Lily thinks Roxy should
have classes to get to and yawns as a hint that she wants them gone
because she's hot to have sex. Finally, Lily and Cane give their
visitors the bum's rush. The door locked, Lily is dripping with
anticipation. Cane carries her off to the bedroom.
Looking at USR, Lauren tosses it into
the trash as Daisy arrives to heap praise on her. It's true! She's in
the presence of a legend. Oh, Amber said Lauren is looking for a sales
girl. Well, does Daisy have any experience? No. Okay then, that's all
the qualification Lauren needs. But she's got to get Amber's approval
first.
Michael reports to Nick that the "FCC" is now looking into the Cayman
Islands bank collapse and good god Victor could be held responsible.
Something about "insider trading". At the very least it'll cost NE big
time. No really, he said FCC, which has nothing to do with banking,
unless by some stretch of the imagination wire tapping was involved.
Sharon reports to Adam that she quit her job; gave Billy hell, and
feels great! Adam warns her to stop being so nice to him or Nick will
flip. He already saw Nick and got the official warning. Adam adds that
he's being sent out of town on assignment and this is good-bye.
Michael informs Nick that so long as those who lost their money get
their money back, all will be well. Nick is skeptical, and well he
should be because this is Michael scamming the empire.
At the bar, it's Lauren come to tell Billy she's pulling all ads.
Billy could give a rip. His rag can do just fine without her dime
stores. "Have a nice night," Billy flips her off, as time flies in
Genoa City,
The rag off her head, Cane is looking at a bald Lily. Wow, what a turn
off, as Lily points out the hole where she gets injected with toxic
chemicals. Cane doesn't gag. To him, she's "beautiful", he says a
number of times. That's what happens when you haven't had sex for a
long time.
Lily and Cane start the process. Kisses galore.
Daisy thanks Amber for the job lead as Ashley arrives to scold Abby
and haul the teen away. Out on the patio, Michael confers with Gloria
and Jeff. Now it's "SEC" and it looks like Jeff and Gloria will get
their wish. Gloria proposes a toast to the man who made it all
possible - Billy!
Mac tells Billy she loves him. Looks like everything is going to
workout. Billy is the man. Sure, he does dumb things, but so does she.
Mac thinks that Colleen would approve of what he's done were Colleen
alive.
Nick is thinking. A knock at the door. More flowers. Another card.
Yikes! Can't be a good card as Nick has a bad look on his face.
Adam grumbles to Sharon that he's been cooped up at the Ponderosa so
long it'll be good to get away. Sharon says she'll miss him, and they
hug. "Have a safe trip," she coos as he leaves.
Show #9267 -
November 4, 2009 - Directed by: Andy Lee
Lily and Cane are still in bed. Was it good for you?
Apparently.
At the mausoleum, Chloe is having coffee when Chance appears. She
confesses to Chance that she pushed Billy away and asserts she's not
hot for Billy. The question is, does Chance believe her.
Katherine and Jill are discussing Jill's return to Jabot. She, Jill,
will right a sinking ship. In comes Neil and Jill doesn't look happy
to see him. Could Neil become Jill's boss?
At the Jitter Joint, Paul is telling Nina that he saw the article in
USR and how it impacts Patty, who Paul says is happy. He went to see
her and Patty wanted him to tell Mary that she wishes Mary would send
some sauerkraut and spare ribs for her and Jack some time.
Jack is discussing Patty with Dr. Pee, who doesn't like Jack much.
Jack questions Pee's thinking that Jack can't grow.
Katherine has big plans. Take Jabot "public"? Isn't it already public?
Did she mean that not heard much of Chancellor Industries? Neil thinks
it's worth investigating and whatever the plan is it will involve
Mitchell Sherman? He's still alive?
Roxy and Devon at the JJ. He wants to take her somewhere which is a
three hour drive away. But before he can, Devon must check on Lily.
Roxy doesn't like the idea. She tells him Lily is fine so keep his
nose out of Lily's bedroom. Roxy ain't no dummy that's for sure.
Cane wonders what Lily wants to do next. Her wish is his command. She
wants to outside; take a hike; watch the leaves fall. Say, is Lily
okay? She doesn't seem okay. What's she thinking about? Colleen? Her
cancer? People asking if she's over it yet? From the way she looks she
is over it.
Jack swears to Dr. Pee that he wants to help Patty. Pee doesn't
believe him. She adds that Patty has an entire staff of competent
doctors working to make her normal. Furthermore Jack is not Pee's
patient and she doesn't give a rip about him. So why is she talking
with him?
Paul tells Nina that Nikki sent him email saying she
was leaving town with Victor. In comes Phillip III. Would Nina like to
go to a movie? Maybe. Paul wonders if they're dating. Oh no, hasn't
Paul heard that Phillip is gay?
Back at the mausoleum, Chloe is trying to convince Chance that she's
cool. So how's he'd like to hangout with her? Sorry, Chance has places
to go, people to see.
Neil is talking about how exciting Katherine's idea is, but he's
concerned that she involved him because he's only worked for her less
than a year. Neil is honored when Katherine says he's her man. Now
Jill wants to know why Katherine brought her in on the plan. Well,
hasn't Jill ever heard of forgiveness? She has, but Katherine has so
many others who love her and, sob, sob, Katherine considers Jill
family? Why yes, she does.
Paul shows up to bump Jack out of Dr. Pee's cue. He wants Pee to stay
in town awhile longer. Patty trusts only Pee. Better yet, Paul wants
Pee to relocate! Pee isn't interested in moving to Genoa City. Hey,
smart lady.
Neil finds Devon at the JJ and notes that Roxy seems happy. Devon says
he's doing every thing he can to hang onto her. So, what does Devon
know about Lily's well being? Not much, except that he thinks Cane is
taking care of Neil's baby girl.
More with Cane and Lily, who says something stupid, but enough to make
Cane want to take her again in bed.
More with Chance and Chloe. Chance is happy that she's pushing Billy
away, but doesn't know how long it'll last. She pleads with him to be
patient.
Oh lord! Devon went back to school when
we weren't looking and Neil says he's graduating "this semester".
After that, Devon says he's going back to songwriting. Neil doesn't
think that's a good career move. Better to take after old dad.
Pee and Paul, who is saying he's got a meeting upstairs in the
"founders room", and he hopes she has a great trip back home. With
Paul gone, Pee gets a phone call from some other doctor and says yes,
she's available.
Jill is stunned. Katherine giving her a chance to get in on the ground
floor of a multi-billion dollar stock offering? Along comes Jack. Jill
splits. Jack wonders if Katherine plans to fire him. He can tell the
ladies were cooking something up. Katherine says it's not about Jack,
or Jabot.
Roxy and Devon alone together, he coos to her how lucky he is to have
her. Meantime, Neil is checking on Lily. She tells him of cooking a
pot roast for Cane. Yum, red meat, good for cave man Cane.
More with Chloe and Chance who says he doesn't want to leave things
the way they were. He likes her, but she's unwilling to move forward.
Okay, what the hell, he's hard up. He'll accept her for who she is.
She reminds him that it's not like he didn't know about Billy, who is
the father of her baby. An argument ensues as Phillip and Nina arrive.
Phillip suggests they leave and this prompts Chance to call his daddy
a coward; always running away. Phillip sticks around as Chance rips
away and says Ryan McNeil was more of a father than Phillip ever was.
Hell, Ryan was more of a man then Phillip ever will be.
Neil is very happy for Lily. Can we all go to sleep now?
Dr. Pee is chatting with someone who says his foundation will be very
lucky to have her. And the foundation is - The Abbott Foundation!
Meantime, Jack is back-biting Jill. He wants Katherine to level with
him, but all she'll do is let him speculate. At the same time Jill is
asking Paul if he could please find Katherine's real daughter.
Show #9268 -
November 5, 2009 - Directed by: Unknown
Prince Charles was in Canada and so the local news
cut into the soap for roughly eight minutes.
Paul is at the AC with Katherine and Jill, saying they can catch up
another time and leaves.
Back with Lily and Cane, her bald head covered, she calls him a
dangerous man with a potato peeler after he cuts himself. As for where
Devon and Roxy are, Lily says Devon texted her to say they're going to
a concert out of town. And it's noted that Lily is hot from "working
over a hot stove all day". Little wonder since she's wearing a wool
cap.
Jack confronts Dr. Pee Wiggle again. He never meant to hurt Patty, but
what's done is done. Still he cares a great deal for Patty and thinks
Pee can help Patty more than anyone.
Chancellor Industries is going public, of that there is no doubt as
Neil and Jill talk about it and there's talk that word will spread
like wildfire once the SEC approves the stock sales.
Jack and Pee keep arguing. This time about the Abbott Foundation and
the dean of the nut division at GCU. He adds that the foundation
offered her a job because of her qualifications. She admits to wanting
the job because it'll give her a chance to teach and finish a book
she's writing. As to why Patty changed her appearance to look like
Pee, it should be obvious that Pee is a legend; who wouldn't want to
look like Pee?
At Mac's Bar, the entire USR (5 people) is gathered as Billy says that
the last issue broke all sales records. Things will only get better
now that the rag is being published out of the bar. Dismissing the
crew, Billy tells it to keep an eye out for "the next big scoop". Mac
has a brilliant idea. Why not do an article on Jack and the Abbott
Foundation? Or the "girl" who gave up her college education so that
her siblings wouldn't have to go into foster care. Billy thinks its a
great idea and plans to dedicate the Christmas issue to just that sort
of thing.
At God Have Mercy Medical Center, Lily becomes woozy. A nurse took her
temperature (103.5) and declared it time to call a doctor. Are there
any around when you need one?
Paul and Nina are talking about Chance, who Nina
says keeps his feelings inside. This doesn't surprise Paul because
Chance was in Iraq - or a military policeman - or something stupid
like that. Nina tells of the confrontation Chance had with Phillip III
and this reminds Paul that he has a daughter named Heather, who he
says still, to a degree, feels abandoned. Gosh, wonder why? His best
advice for Nina is not to expect too much too soon despite their
desire to "protect our kids". Nevertheless, Nina can't bare the
thought of Chance being hurt again.
More with Mac and Billy when Chance appears to pick up sandwiches for
old man Murphy to take on a trip! Billy leaves giving Mac a chance to
tell Chance that USR is now being run out of the bar.
Katherine, Jill and Neil are making big plans. Neil will meet with the
SEC. His phone rings. Bummer. Bad news from Cane. Lily may have an
infection.
Dr. Pee takes a call from Dean Lambert as Billy walks in and grabbing
Jack tells him they gotta get out of there. Chance there too, minus
the sandwiches, he came for coffee (the bar ran out?) and spotting Pee
places her under arrest. Chance thinks Pee is Patty but nobody else
has thought about this?
Paul wonders how Nina's screenplay is coming. It is, we're reminded,
based on Katherine's book. Paul thinks it'll be a hit movie, but Nina
wonders how she can put everyone's pain out there for public
consumption without hurting anyone. By the way, what about the missing
Chancellor daughter, Nina asks without mentioning Brock Reynolds.
Realizing his mistake, Chance lets Pee
off the hook and Jack introduces Billy to Pee. She holds out her hand,
but Billy won' take it. Billy goes to the counter where Chance is and
gets a call. Something about booking a conference room at the AC.
Chance is shocked; Billy is working out of the bar? Yup. Well, good
luck with that. Chance calls Chloe to leave a message that he's sorry
for not believing her. At the same time, Chloe, her phone apparently
off, is at the AC telling Nina that like it or not they're going to be
friends. Chloe's phone ringing now, she walks away.
At GHM, Neil arrives to ask Lily if she's okay. No you fool, she's
fine. That's why she's laying down, covered with a blanket, and
shivering. Cane is chatting with a doctor as Lily says she fears she's
dying. Golly, there's already panic that the antibiotics aren't
working and nobody's wearing masks.
Paul and Nina rehash briefly as the scene shifts to Chloe and Chance.
He confessed to being a bad boy for not trusting her.
Back with Jack and Pee. Jack says he's sorry she was mistaken for
Patty. Not a problem for Pee, she's getting used to it.
Billy rushed back to the bar to tell Mac what happened. Mac wonders
what Jack's reaction was, and then tells Billy to stop acting like
he's so cool.
Jill is worried about Cane and Lily and Katherine says that's to be
expected because Cane is still like a son to Jill, just like Katherine
and Jill are still like mother and daughter.
Lily is delirious? How can we tell? Neil and Cane assure her things
will be okay as Lily whines about spoiling dinner. Near the elevator,
Cane falls onto his knees in a bawling fit.
Show #9269 -
November 6, 2009 - Directed by: Peter Brinckerhoff
At GHM, Neil helps a crying on the floor Cane up to
his feet. Meantime lab results are being awaited. Will Lily live? Will
she die? Neil is keeping an eye on Cane.
Jill is on her way to see Cane when Jack blows in to assault
Katherine. Whatever the old woman is up to, Jack wants in.
At the JJ, Gloria and Jeff are talking about getting their Cayman
Islands money back as soon as the SEC clears the way. In come Phillip
and Nina, as Chance lurks with Chloe. Phillip thinks it would be a
good time to speak with her son and Nina tells him to go for it. At
the same time Chloe understands why Chance can't feel for his father
and Chance says it's not so. His being unfeeling.
With Nick, Ashley tells him that what Billy did was disgusting. What
Nick says he needs is proof that Victor wasn't involved with insider
trading and Ashley thinks a board meeting should be called to discuss
their options.
At USR, or the bar, Billy is on the phone and then tells Mac that when
he gets an office things at the bar won't be so hectic. Later, Ashley
nails Billy to say she never knew he could be so vindictive and don't
expect her to give him money ever again. Back at the office, Nick is
on the phone assuring someone that there's another employee equally
qualified to file papers as Victoria. Billy pops in to ask if he and
Nick can't bury the hatchet (they can't) when in comes - Victoria!
Phillip wants to talk with Chance, but Chance says it's not a good
time because he's going fishing with old man Murphy.
Back at GHM, Cane and Neil are looking through the door at Lily, who
Neil says needs Cane. Along comes Dr. Pee to say she's just be hired
by GHM to work in its oncology unit to counsel those grieving and
generally depressed by the horror that cancer is. Neil and Cane are
pleased to meet her. Pee notes that Lily was scheduled for a chemo
treatment, but that could have precipitated Lily's crash and burn.
Jill arrives just as the machine Lily is hooked up to goes into alarm.
Jack is surprised that Katherine didn't come to him
for money since he knows she's got a cash flow problem. Jack said he'd
be willing to buy Jabot. Katherine laughed in his face. Jabot ain't
for sale. She also suggested that Jack actually go to the office every
now and then since he does work there - doesn't he? Jack storms off as
Murphy arrives. Katherine balks when he suggests they go to the
hospital to hover over Lily. After all, isn't Murphy going fishing?
Hell no, Lily is more important.
At the same time Chance is getting the call from
Murphy that the fishing is off because Lily is at the GHM. Oh no, no
word will spread for sure. With Lily, Cane says she's going to be okay
when Dr. Pee walks in. Alone with Lily, Dr. Pee says she's worried
about the patient and Lily doesn't ask who the hell she is. "I'm not a
woman anymore," Lily sobs.
Out in the hallway, Mac hugs Cane and gets the medical update. Lily is
on a "last resort" medication of which Mac says has "toxic" effects.
Katherine arrives too and tells Neil she and Murphy love him and want
to help him.
Jack caught up with Ashley at the AC to say they've got another chance
to own Jabot! It could be, Jack says, Faith's legacy. If that's not a
good enough reason, think about the dead John Abbott. Ashley isn't
interested.
Nick drops the bomb on Billy. NE is pulling all ads from his rag.
Billy leaves as Victoria yaps about being unable to work for her daddy
and be married to J.T. at the same time. Did she leave Reed in NYC
with J.T.? We may never know as Nick goes on about having to pay big
bucks to get the SEC off his back as it pertains to the Cayman Islands
deal.
Lily tells of when she was pregnant and that one day still she will
have a baby because Colleen told her she would. Dr. Pee is confused.
Colleen? Yeah, you know, Lily's one and only friend who died. "She
came to me in a dream," Lily spews of Colleen.
Back at the bar, Billy is conducting business when Chloe drops by with
signed divorce papers.
Nina and Phillip now at GHM (do they know Lily?), Jill and Neil talk
about trusting Cane as Dr. Pee says she's got other patients to see.
She doesn't have any business cards either, but gives Cane her number
just before Lily tells him that she's going to live because Colleen
promised her she would. "To hell with cancer," she actually said,
adding she wants a family and a baby.
Chance is picking up a bag of food (what
happened to the sandwiches from the bar?) at the JJ when a guy pulls
out a knife demanding cash. Going up behind the thug, Chance must not
have remembered his police training as the thug turns around and stabs
him. Damn, all that food going to waste.
Jack and Ashley argue about Jack's shady past; using Billy as a
"mini-me", and Ashley takes off to be replaced by Dr. Pee. She thanks
him for pulling strings to get her the job at GHM. Out of the way
Ashley is on the phone telling someone she wants to buy as much
Chancellor Industries stock as possible.
More with Lily and her bright future ahead as Mac joins them and none
are wearing masks. Their current faces notwithstanding. A doctor
appears to say "the danger seems to have passed". Now everyone is in
the room and not a mask to be seen because, well, the danger passed -
didn't it? Neil is so happy he hugs Cane and Murphy goes off to call
Chance. On the other end of the line it's Gloria who says "the man you
called has been stabbed." Oh lord, what great answering recording that
would make. "Sorry, I can't come to the phone right now. I've got a
knife in my belly. Please leave a message. If I live long enough I'll
try to get back to you."
Nick tells Victoria that the company really needs her. No, no.
Victoria says Nick can run the empire without her. Better yet, maybe
"new leadership" is needed. Nick is appalled. She just called Victor a
dinosaur. Oh well, Nick says the company will miss her.
Fast police work, the man who stabbed Chance has been caught. Gloria
gets a call from Michael. NE has just made a remarkable offer; she and
Jeff are getting their money back. "No more slinging coffee," she
says.
Oh, oh. Dr. Pee tripped as she was leaving and falling into Jack's
arms he kisses her!
Back at the bar, Chloe is signing off on the divorce papers. Too bad
their marriage failed, at least they gave it shot. Onward and upward!
He's got Mac, and she's got - um, who's she got?
Nina and Phillip are getting the bad news about Chance, as Lily whines
she's be pregnant if not for the cancer. She so wants to be a mommy.
She's lost so much in her short life. If only they could find a
surrogate. No problem - Mac says she's be their surrogate! Just let
her know when they're ready.
Down in the ER, Nina and all are watching Chance being rolled in.
