You know me, I don't like to cast aspersions, but I
don't think Abby is very bright. On Monday they
wheeled in her half sister and cousin, Colleen, and
when the paramedics decreed that Colleen was not
breathing on her own, was unresponsive, and they
were losing her pulse Abby replied "But, she's going
to be OK, right?" Then moments later, when they
wheeled in her father, Victor, the doctors informed
his family that he had been shot 3 times in the
heart, and again Abby asked "But he's going to be
OK, right?" Something tells me Abby's eventually
going to be standing over one of their graves and
still asking people if they're going to be OK. Let
this be a lesson to all of you. When you steal some
old guy's sperm that's been frozen for years and
impregnate yourself with it, this is the kind of kid
you wind up with.
Of the many things Colleen will be remembered for, I
hope one of them is her amazing hair. For even after
spending what seemed like hours under water, once
she emerged her hair dried in a matter of minutes,
and was even styled and curled. Then shortly
thereafter, at the hospital, her hair was straight
and smooth, as though the ambulance had stopped at
the beauty parlor on their way to the emergency room
to get Colleen a makeover. Neatness counts when
you're on the brink of death, after all. Poor
Colleen, it seems the tests showed that she was
brain dead. You realize, of course, the irony in
that is if they had done the same tests two years
ago they would have had identical results.
All I can say is Thank God Colleen was dead so she
didn't have to witness the atrocities in this
hospital that we all did. Had she been alive she'd
have been horrified by the visage of Lily wearing
some weird long, dark head wrapping and a surgical
mask like some kind of demented nun and JT wandering
around in a V-neck t-shirt like he was hanging
around waiting for them to pull the plug so he could
dash off the the gym for a workout. Not to mention
all the screaming going on in the waiting room right
outside her door. If she hadn't already been drowned
this would have killed her.
Gee, I sure hope Nicholas and Victoria don't beat
themselves up too much over what they now see as
being "too hard" on their father. I mean, all Victor
did was arrange for a dangerously unbalanced woman
to menace half the city while denying any
involvement with her. Even after the woman was
responsible for making Nick's daughter slightly more
retarded than she was before and kidnapping
Victoria's former step daughter. To think that
either of them had the nerve to demand an
explanation! I'm so glad they've seen the error of
their ways. Such loyal children.
How very sensitive of Victoria to approach Paul with
her urgent request to find Nikki. So sorry to hear
his crazy sister kidnapped her former stepdaughter,
and gosh that's a shame. But would he mind putting
that all aside to track down the woman who left him
at the altar because she's still in love with her
father and always will be? Because Victor might die
and God forbid he does so without Nikki at his
bedside to remind the both of them. Sure, Paul's
only to glad to do it. Because this man is such a
doormat it's no wonder he wasted years with
Christine knowing full well he was her third choice
after Phillip and Danny, two gay men. OK, well one
of those two is unconfirmed, but still. You be the
judge.
