What in the hell is up with that dumb cabin? Does
anyone understand why people keep going there? Me
neither. Every time people go up there, they either
get kidnapped, stranded or pregnant. It's supposed
to belong to the Abbott family but even strangers
wander in. There must be a big sign out front that
says "Intruders Welcome." Is this really a place to
go and have a romantic picnic right after your niece
was killed there? Where are Billy and Mac going to
rendezvous next, Auschwitz?
And what the hell were Chloe and Chance doing there?
Chloe's claim on Abbott property is tenuous at best.
I mean I can understand her saying, "What the hell,
we're in the vicinity, and the door's always wide
open to any stranger who cares to enter," but once
she found Billy and Mac there you'd think she'd have
the class the excuse herself rather than try to
assert some kind of family right to the place equal
to Billy's. Then again maybe she's just confused, I
mean the way everyone and their brother goes to that
place whether they're an Abbott or not, you'd think
it was a highway rest stop.
Do you think Sharon asked the Abbott's permission
before she scattered "Faith's" ashes on their lawn?
Because that had to be one awkward conversation.
First Sharon told Jack the baby was his, then later
had to admit it wasn't his. Then she had to explain
the baby was Nick's, the result of an affair she had
while still legally married to Jack. An affair that
happened at Jack's cabin. Then she wanted to "honor"
the memory of her indiscretion by scattering the
baby's ashes there. Jack should have smacked her.
I guess Jack is still a doormat though. He's still
enabling Sharon, and even offered to let her live in
Brad's house. Did Sharon say she was going to
redecorate? Oh, the horror. I remember what happened
when she did that over at the Abbott mansion. She
had fuchsia and chartreuse pillows on the sofa and
hideous art all over the walls. Can Jack actually
believe the mental hospital changed Sharon "for the
better?" I fail to see how her group therapy helped
her at all. Although I bet it was a big help to the
group. Once they'd been subjected daily to the
litany of Sharon's many travesties I bet they felt a
whole lot better about themselves. I know I do.
Why the hell would Sharon want to live in Brad's
house anyway? It's like the cabin. Everyone who has
ever lived there has died. First the Rawlins, then
Brad himself, and then Colleen. I'd sooner move into
the haunted house at Disneyland. And Noah's going to
live there too? Which dead person's room will he
choose for himself? Sounds like he wants the one
with the master bathroom. You mean to tell me in a
mansion like that there's only one bedroom with an
attached bath? This home will never be featured on
HGTV.
Poor Adam, having to go through such machinations to
steal Sharon's baby and give it to Ashley. If only
he had known how easy it was to steal babies, he
could have waited until Ashley was transferred to
Genoa City Memorial. Apparently, you can go into the
nursery where they keep the babies, and just take
one for the asking. You can then wheel them all
around the hospital and even visit patients who have
just had heart transplants. Where the hell are all
the nurses in this place? Surely they're aware how
rich and powerful Victor Newman is with all the
money he throws around. God knows he never lets
anyone forget it. Yet his baby is left alone and
ripe for kidnapping by anyone who happens by. Oh,
Patty, what an opportunity you missed.
Maybe all Nikki had to do was say "I'm here to take
Victor's baby to him" and they just let her. They
didn't care if she was the baby's mother or not, all
they had to hear was "Victor" and they all jumped.
That's what everyone seems to do. After Paul had a
few choice words for the man, I couldn't believe
Nikki had the colossal gall to say to Victor "I hope
Paul didn't upset you to much." Upset HIM? Let's
see, Colleen's dead, Summer's brain damaged (more so
than before), and Paul's sister is in a padded cell,
all thanks to Victor. But God forbid someone upset
HIM.
What's with this carnival that came to town? I've
never seen anyone at a carnival before. Yet Nicholas
claimed to have gone to several of them with Cassie.
When? He didn't adopt her until she was seven, and
then she had tuberculosis, and then he had a lot of
fights with Sharon, and then Cassie died. I don't
know where he fitted the Tilt-a-Whirl in there. And
how come Katherine said Murphy was responsible for
these carnivals yet nobody ever met the man until
now?
Oh the irony of Phyllis and Lauren hoping they'd be
Katherine years from now. Well, they already have
multiple marriages under their belts so they're off
to a good start. So long as they can avoid the
drinking, the amnesia and the identical doubles . .
. oh, oops! Phyllis has had one of those too. Yes,
I'd say they are definitely on the right path to
becoming the next Katherine Chancellor. I guess if
you have to aspire to be anyone in this town, she's
as good as any.
