Nobody wants Cordelia. They say they do, but they really don't. Actions speak louder than words. There are no less than seven people going around fighting for the chance to own her, but not one of them can be bothered to spend more than five minutes with her.

Look at Billy. He can't decide if he wants Lily, or Sharon, or Chloe. He insists he wants to be a father to Cordelia - probably just so his brother Cane won't be - yet the minute he's asked to watch her for a couple of hours he dumps her off on his mother so he can go make a booty call in the middle of the day. Must get it from his mother, she dumped both her kids off in boarding school and now she says how much she wants Cordelia living with her in her house. Yet the minute she gets a chance to baby-sit she runs off to meet Nikki at the club. And she doesn't even like Nikki.

And why is Jill so critical of Billy? Sure he whores around but so did she. Chip off the old block. What on earth makes Jill think Cane is so damn responsible? The man got drunk and woke up the next morning married or a potential father twice. At least nobody has ever tricked Billy into marriage. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to take away from this but I gather that Billy is "bad" and Cane is "good." Seems more to me that Billy is "smart" and Cane is "stupid." Great, hand the baby off to the stupid one.

Even Chloe seems more interested in scheming and entrapment than in mothering. She obviously doesn't trust Billy as far as she can throw him, but she dumped Cordelia off with him just so she could take her mother to the doctor? Last time I checked, Esther was still perfectly capable of driving herself. And even if she wasn't, what prevented them from taking the baby with them? Lots of people take babies to the doctor's office, I see it all the time.

And how is it a good idea for Chloe, Billy and the baby to live at the pool house? Cordelia will be at the crawling stage before you know it. On this show, probably in the next couple of days. Provided she doesn't jump straight to boarding school, that is. Do you really think it's such a great idea to have a baby crawling around about six feet away from the pool? Especially when she's so poorly looked after?

Nobody can be bothered with their own kids in this city. Nick was on his way to China and Phyllis is so insecure she jumped at the chance to pack her bags and fly off with him. Who the hell did she think was going to take care of Summer on such short notice? Where the hell is Summer anyway? Was she upstairs while her mother had a screaming match with Sharon down in the living room?

And where the hell is Noah? Sharon set up shop in her hotel room for unexpected "guests" morning, noon and night. Nick is out of town and Phyllis is running around spying on Sharon. For all the lip service his parents pay to caring about Noah they sure as hell don't do a very good job keeping track of him. They say they're so worried about him spending time with Eden because she's such a bad influence. But as far as I know, Eden hasn't committed half the sins nor half the crimes that Noah's parents have. She hasn't slept around, she hasn't been divorced, and she doesn't steal stuff. Nick and Sharon? Can't say the same.
