Victor must be so proud of Nicholas, following in
his father's footsteps. Although Nick's got a lot of
catching up to do. He's going to have to re-marry
Sharon and divorce her and re-marry her about five
more times to match his parents' record. He's also
going to have to collect a few other brides along
the way. Wasn't it rather pointless of Victor to ask
Nick if he was sure of what he was doing? Nick is
never sure of what he's doing. He says he is, every
time he changes his mind again.
I wonder if Nick also inherited his father's
proclivity for selective memory. I thought I would
choke when Victor said that Nikki left him. Excuse
me? Nikki's not the one who ran off to South America
to search for Victor Jr. right after Nick's plane
went down and everyone assumed he was dead. Nikki's
not the one who wouldn't even answer her cell phone
for weeks on end. Nikki's not the one who treated
her spouse like something she'd wiped off the bottom
of her shoe and called him every name in the book.
That Victor actually thinks it's Nikki's fault their
marriage failed speaks to the reason why Victor has
so many unsuccessful marriages.
With the damage that Nick has done he's sure to be
on the uninvited list of every party in town for the
foreseeable future. You'd think he'd show a little
gratitude to someone, even a woman who is almost a
stranger like Mary Jane, for saying
"congratulations" to him and offering a sympathetic
gesture instead of sneering at her in the hallway as
though he knew she had just been talking to her
stuffed cat. Nick needs all the friends he can get.
I guess on some level even he knows he's a jerk and
anyone saying otherwise must be nuts.
Well we've been wondering just who Mary Jane really
is for quite awhile now, and kudos to the show for
keeping it under wraps for as long as they have. But
at this point I think it's safe to say popular
speculation that she's Patty Williams has proven to
be true. Wow, that's some plastic surgeon she had.
Not only has her face been transformed beyond the
point where even her own brother could recognize
her, but she's a good five inches taller than she
was before too. They also managed to change her
voice. I say let's put this doctor on staff at the
Genoa City Memorial Hospital and let him have a go
at Mackenzie.
Honestly, I'm hard pressed to see what any man sees
in Mackenzie, but she's never going to find anyone
as attentive as Raul. The man got a call from Chloe
telling him only that "Mac needed him" and he was on
a plane and back in town within minutes. Without
even calling first to see if it was a crank call. I
wish I knew his phone number, I'd call him up and
ask him if his refrigerator is running. I can
understand Mac being thrilled that she has two guys
fighting over her given her looks, frankly. But
she's choosing the wrong guy. Billy's on a path to
have dumped more women than Victor.
